Mrs. Brentley
Looking back at my education, school wasn't as important to me as it should have been. My favorite teachers at the time were teachers who let me get by. Now that I'm mature and wiser, I now know that those types of teachers were not suitable teachers. The teachers that I ostracized were in fact the more suitable teachers and they only wanted the best for me. Of those suitable teachers there is only one who still has an impact on my life and her name is Mrs. Brantley. Mrs. Brantley is distinct from many other teachers. She is a teacher whose main and only focus is the success of her students.
Mrs. Brantley is a teacher who noticed each and every student rather if you were in here or not. Standing in the middle of the hallway Mrs. Brantley would greet each student with vigor and pride and say " Hi, how are you doing today? If

Brantley’s class I would wonder why she was as tough as leather, I would always come to the assumption that, that was just her personality. Now looking back, I now understand that her tough discipline rules were to benefit her students, we knew what was of expected of us, therefore we knew Mrs. Brentley wasn’t going to accept anything less. For an example, our class period consisted of absolutely no talking while working on our assignments. If we were to talk while working, how would we be able to give Mrs. Brantley our best work?
Mrs. Brantley not only taught English she taught us about life. She achieved this by always starting class off with writing a reflection about a quote. To this day those quotes still have an impact on my life.
Although many students may not see or understand how Mrs. Brantley is an admirable teacher, but once they’re older and wiser they will see it. Mrs. Brantley is a teacher who prepares her students beyond high school, she expects more than, good she expects your best, and she’s always there when you need her. She’s not a teacher there to just teach she’s there to see you
Mr. Rose presents many descriptive vignettes of teaching professionals in his life who have influenced him both positively and negatively and whom he has retained for emulation or distinction. These characters in his life include teachers from grammar school throughout his college experience. All have in one way or another left a considerable imprint on his recollection of school and learning.
The rooms were inviting, and the students were engaged in learning. I quickly noticed that having a positive, and inviting classroom environment is of upmost importance for successful student learning. As the students walked through the second grade classroom they were greeted with a hug. When the students’ finished their morning work, the chimes signaled the students to line up, and transition to their first class of the day which is Science. This is where I was able to observe both Mrs. Stanford, and Mrs. Taylor
The teachers profiled in “Unforgettable Miss Bessie”, “My Favorite Teacher”, and “And the Orchestra Played On” are remembered and admired by the narrators. Miss Bessie, Miss Hattie, and Mr. K. possessed significant qualities that made them remarkable educators. They inspired and encouraged students. They only wanted the best for their students and prepared them for their futures, enabling them to overcome difficulties in school. Besides the content of their subject matter these educators their taught students to believe that their lives and future all depends from themselves: whether they would choose the clean asphalt road or dirty, bumpy one.
The exuberant and laid back Miss Hancock made for a great elementary teacher but not so much for secondary. The high school students quickly strip Miss Hancock “of [her] 15 years of overblown confidence” (77). In reality, the students need a sterner teacher that can balance laid-back with discipline. Moreover, Miss Hancock is too dependent on her confidence; as soon as her confidence is broken she becomes pathetic. A “desperate
She was unapologetic about treating her students, especially her honors ones, like adults. She was strict about plagiarism and demanded our full efforts. Within our social studies curriculum, she found ways to infuse valuable life lessons and talk
“One of the best teachers I have had the pleasure of working with,” Principal Curtiss Tolefree of Washington Middle School confided in me about 6th grade English teacher, Heather Ruha, as I crossed the threshold of her classroom for the very first time.
This year I had the prestigious honor of being in Ms. Brown’s class, and let me tell you, it was anything but normal. Ms. Brown’s cheerfulness (and maybe a bit of messiness) really helped me realize that teachers actually have lives. They’re not just some robots who are only activated to teach, and then turned off when the class leaves, as much as we might think they are.
For three years she’s waited to get her favorite teacher Miss.Harriet, turns out it didn’t go as planned she was assigned to a different teacher, and was disappointed.
Through school you come in to contact with teachers who either care about you or they don’t, but Mrs. Graham is the one teacher that I know cares. There’s something about her vibe that just makes all of her students feel comfortable. She encourages all of her students not to hold back, and to speak freely about whatever they are feeling. During my ninth grade year, I was shy and wasn’t really the type of
Mrs. M was fair to all her students and built relationships with her students that proved this. She never showed favoritism and if a student was in trouble or needed discipline, all students received the discipline that was discussed at the beginning of the year. She built these relationships by caring about her students personally and was present in the classroom, on school grounds, and during special events such as track meets. Finally, Mrs. M showed excellent classroom management during difficult or stressful situations with students. She also remained calm and never showed emotions when it came to school disruptions but showed kindness when a student was having a difficult time at home.
Newsam’s class showed me how I would want my classroom to be when I am a teacher. She showed me things she does to keep her classroom under control. She also taught me that using positive reinforcement can go a long way in the classroom. She gave the students many opportunities for rewards and also told me that Class Dojo is her savior when things get a little hectic. She told me that she also gave a classroom reward that the students earn and can lose as a class. She said that she believes it shows the students that they are a team. She also really cared for the kids and they trusted her enough to talk to her about home problems. This taught me that you need to have a relationship with your students because then they will better trust you for help. Out of all the things I learned in Mrs. Newsam’s class, the most important thing I learned is that you can’t have a good classroom without a loving, caring
I slouched in my chair eighth period, barely even paying attention to Mrs. Winston, the music teacher. She 's a tall woman with long brown hair and a resting bitch-face. She may be nice, but takes her job way too seriously.
Her class of teachers take their jobs very seriously, and do not tolerate students who skip or disrupt their classes. These teachers are fun, because once you get them off on some irrelevant tangent, they will keep themselves going on it for entire class segments, trying to get out years of thought and consideration in just a short period of time. This is how I got to know my psychology teacher, because I was the one who kept her talking, so that the class could avoid taking the quiz that none of us had studied for. Teachers like her have the innate gift to educate and entertain, with their comprehensive lessons and subtle quirks.
When I think about teachers that I have had in the past, several different ones come to my mind. Each of these educators stands out in my mind for a variety of diverse reasons. Whether it is their sense of humor, their tactfulness, their love of the subject matter, their fanatical and sporadic behavior, or their yearning to be childish themselves, I can still remember at least one quality of every teacher I have ever encountered. Every one of these teachers conveyed subject material to their students just as they were educated and employed to do. However, I trust that every professional in the world has an abundance of opportunity for improvement; teachers could discover and improve themselves merely by having
Durring the school year, there were many positive and negative situation that occurs between Mrs. Ahlvers and I making but I understand tough teaching and her hardness on was just her tough-loving for me and her way of showing me that there always time to be serious
