When you get think of a hero you usually think of batman or superman, but when I think of a hero I think of, someone who is always there for me, supportive, kind, loving person is what I describe a hero. I don't know where I would be in my life right now if it wasn't for my her she has taught me my rights and wrongs, my do's and don'ts, even though we have ups and downs I can't imagine what my life would've been without my Michigan Hero, my mom. I remember when I was little my mom would Chase me around tickling me until I couldn't breathe and my face was bright red, I would try to hide in my closet but she would always find me, and I would end up getting tickled. Or when we would play hide and seek she would always come up with somewhere to hide to the point where I could never find her until …show more content…
For example, I've wanted to be an Olympian since I was a little girl and my mom has done everything she can do get me to fulfill my dream. My mom comes to all my meets pays for all my practices and still has time to help me with whatever I need. Even though she has bad days she is always supporting me no matter what happens. My mom has also Been supportive for all the sports I play like, basketball, softball, volleyball, and dance. As you may know these sports can be kind of expensive, but my mom still pays for it so I can participate. My mom has took time off of work so she can come watch me play, she has cancelled important things, just for me. I still remember my dance recital I was doing a backhand spring in the dance, my mom was so happy to see me perform I think she was crying. As you can see my mom will do just about anything so that she can see me play the sports I love. As you can see in all these paragraphs a true hero does not have to have a cape or have rocket hands, a true hero can be, a loving, supportive, kind person all these things show a perfect reflection of my mom, my true
She is wonderful and just awesome is even supportive of my friends and is always nice and caring to them. The girls in colorgard love her to she acts like a second mother to them. She also takes time off of work to help out at band camp every year. She is back school online and is getting her masters showing that no matter if you are an adult or kid you can always learn more and that's such a big inspiration to me. She has come to almost all of my volleyball, and softball games and helped me when I was having trouble with them and showing me the best way to do things. My mom also tells me to never give up like when I was doing volleyball I wanted to quit but she told to just finish the season and that I don’t have to do it again if I didn’t want to, I ended up really liking it and had a lot of fun. She even helped me to get back in a good place after my grades fell, and I was not in a good place then she helped me to get them higher and, try as hard as I can and do my very best. My mom is my hero for all these reasons and many, many more but the fact that I have her is a blessing in itself. She is kind, caring, smart, funny, lovable, Amazing, and
Having a supporting mom is such a huge advantage in my life. My mom supports me in all my future decisions; from life problems to something simple like clothing choice. Seeing other people not having supporting families, really makes me think how lucky I am to have a supportive family. Without my mom’s support, I wouldn’t be the same person that I am today.
My mom has been through a lot with me she got me healthy even if she was sick during the time I was a baby, She has helped me with my reading and writing disability and has pushed me to do my best. She is a strong confident woman that is loving she loves to attend to people and has a great smile. She has shown me that even if times are hard you have to bring your head up and raise it high. I maybe a mama’s boy but my mom is one of my greatest role models and people I admire.
From working several jobs at a time to make sure I had everything I needed, she became the reason why I was raised the way I raised. The lesson that “ I should treat everyone like the most important person in the world because I will never know when I might need them” was engraved in my head was owned by my mother. Sometimes she would tell me that she had holes in her socks and I knew it was due to most of her money going towards my private school tuition in order for me to be able to have the best education I could get. My mother is my background, my identity, interest, and talent. She is truly the one that has set me up for success, regardless of how fatigued or overworked she is. She is the person who truly defines who I am and who I have become to this
Growing up my mom was the only parent in my household, so naturally we were a very close family. My mom took care of all of us. She always made sure my siblings and I had everything we needed in order to be successful. She cooked, clean, worked, etc., she really was a super mom. Whenever I had a problem with something or needed to talk to someone she was always there for me. My mom gave
To me a hero is someone who is nice, kind, caring, open minded, confident, not afraid to help others and not a quitter.
My mother has taught me to be courageous and always stand up for what I believe in. Every day, when I think about all that she went through while raising us, I really am astonished. She has basically given up her life for us making sure that we be successful in everyway. I can remember her letting me try out for club basketball when I was in sixth grade, the money didn’t even daunt her she always found away. However, when someone hurts anyone of us she has no problem standing up for us. I can
A hero to me is somebody who goes out of their way to help others for the better. There is no better definition of a hero than anyone who works for good and never turns their back on those in need.
The support and encouragement I receive from my mother is endless, not only as a
My mom, Christina Hasselbalch, is a single, full-time working mother who somehow finds time to always be there for me. She wakes up every day at five AM to turn the heat on and wake up so she can wake me up at six. After I leave for school she works long and hard hours so can provide for me. She also drives me everywhere from soccer to my friends’ houses. So she does a lot but, somehow she finds time to keep the house clean and cook all my meals. My mom is an excellent mom because even though she works really hard for me he always finds time to hang out with me.
She has shown me what perseverance is and that true hard work can actually pay off. My family was in a rough patch for a long time, but somehow my mom managed to save us. She might have had to work three jobs and go to bed hungry some nights, but if we never struggled, I would not be here today. Since then, I have achieved my first degree black belt, and my mom had a big role in this part of my life. She encouraged me to pursue my dreams and was always there for me when I thought classes were too hard. When I wanted to give up, she always told me, “It will be worth it in the end.” My mother was right; you should never give up on your dreams, just because you do not feel like you fit
I’m not sure if you’ve met my mother? She takes care of my three siblings and I she has taken care of us for a lot of years, and she did an excellent job of doing it. A lot of my family members and teachers say she is very kind, and I can agree on that because she wouldn't get mad often, but she will get mad. When she needs to.leaving my school. She always asks about how my day was and what I did in school that day. My Mom is brilliant If I ask her a question about something she will answer and she teaches me something new every day.she also makes the best food for my siblings and me when we ask for something specific to eat she makes it, and it tastes delicious.
When the word "hero" is spoken, everyone has different thoughts. Some will think of super powers like flying and saving people from villains; while others have a certain person they know or have heard of that come to mind who have done something to make a difference in the lives of others but who is a hero to you? To answer this question you must first ask yourself what a hero is; what comes to your mind when someone says the word. When I am confronted with these questions I always have the same thoughts; smart, strong will power, and someone who stands up for what they believe is right.
Besides being compassionate my mother is thoughtful. She stays at work late if someone needs help with theirs. She brings my grandmother dinner and runs errands for her. She is always putting others before herself. For instance, last year I began singing in the choir at Iowa State. It was really important to me because singing has always been a passion of mine. She drove to Ames for every single concert. It meant a lot to me to have her in the audience supporting me. This year I also started singing in the choir at my church. I was really excited and nervous about singing the first Sunday so few days before I was going to sing she gave me a beautiful necklace with a star pendant on it. I remember her warm hug and her telling me good luck and that I was ‘her star’. It touched me that she took time out of her busy schedule to encourage and support things that she knew were important to me. She could have just wished me well and enjoyed her few minutes of spare time, but instead she put me first.
She taught me important lessons and one of them was how to be an independent female. she told me if I wanted to be successful, college will lead you the right path that you need to be at. Whenever she told me stuff like this, it would help and encourages me a lot. I have never been in any hard situation in my life and that’s because my mom is always by my side. Whether she’s away from me or not, distance will never separate us no matter what. she is my inspiration and he keeps me motivated to get my degree heart Surgeon, my dream job.
