College is a difficult time for students because of the amount of work that needs to be managed. Being a nursing major can be slightly more stressful than other majors because of the challenging information that needs to be taught. Freshmen year was very difficult to stay on top of all the assignments that were due; however, making a plan for success can help this crisis. To be successful in nursing school, I plan to have a long-term goal to have a 3.5 gpa every year. As the success video explained, setting a goal can be a helpful structure for students to follow. Although this dedication seemed hard at first, I broke down my inadequate studying habits and I transformed them into great accomplishments. My inoperative studying habits include procrastination and time management. I used my strengths for organization and studying every day to overcome my flaws. END THIS SOMEHOW

Making a list of the homework pages with their due dates can help motivate a student to get the task done, and this idea leads to organization. Organization has always been a strength of mine and staying prepared had helped me get terrific grades my first year of nursing school. Freshman year, I brought home an agenda book that aided me to keep my classes systematic, and I continue to use this book. In the calendar part of the book, I write down the due dates for all my assignments and my tests for each of my classes. This plan assisted me keep a timeline of when I should get homework done and how much time I have for an upcoming exam. For my plan, organization is truly the key to success for my nursing school
Throughout my educational experience I noticed the discrepancies with regard to the advantages my peers possessed. In high school as I began exploring what career I wished to pursue, I experienced inferiority as my classmates who’ve taken the ACT three times, visited college campuses, and have had resumes ready since the 6th grade unintentionally mocked my lack of college-readiness. However, my ignorance wasn’t intentional, my parents never reached a high school education in Mexico, they couldn’t pass down SAT tips or acquire internship opportunities for me. Procrastination is one of my biggest downfalls however I can fix this by practicing better time management skills. Throughout the college process I can foresee this as being an ongoing challenge because i'll know that I have enough time to get an assignment done but depending on the assignment i'll wait two days or a day before to complete it,and it's not on purpose it's simply because i'm not managing my time
Four years of college, a lot of learning, but lost as to my real purpose in life. This was reality in my final semesters of my Baccalaureate program, that is until I signed up for Ceramics I in the Fall of 2013 to curb the curiosity I held for clay since my first tub of air-dry clay at seven years old. After my first month in the ceramics studio under Piero Fenci my childlike wonder and excitement was reawakened. I knew that I had to continue working in and learning everything about this amazing medium.
My first semester of college, I detached my retina and underwent emergency eye surgery two weeks before finals. The surgery restored my vision, but I wouldn’t be able to do strenuous activity or read for two weeks. I wanted to make a full recovery, however I also wanted to take my finals, and receive high grades. My doctor understood how important my classes were to me, and we created a plan where I would be able to take my finals, and still make a full recovery. The first week, was rest with no reading, but my family could quiz me. During the second week, if my eye felt okay I could read in short segments. Finals week, I could take my finals but no extra activity. My professors and I worked to make a similar agreement to cover the material
Currently I am employed, however I'm only working about 3 hrs a week which is hardly enough for me to pay for transportation to and from college. Aside from that I don't qualify for fafsa. My end goal education wise, is to obtain either a Master or Doctorate in Physics, Botany, or Astrophysics. If I do qualify, and actually receive this book grant it would help to alleviate some of the financial stress that many college students face, and I feel it would allow me to focus primarily on my classes without having to worry about paying for books with money I don't have. I would simply have peace of mind, by knowing that I have college books taken care of and I don't have to worry about
This semester has been a challenge for me. Before, I arrived in this class I didn’t know certain things. I never been a good write but this class has pushed me to work harder. I have always been good at speaking my point out verbally, instead of writing it out.. I improved on expanding my paragraphs, staying on topic, and I’m still need working on style and voice.
Undoubtedly, I was in the quarterlife crisis 3 years ago before entering college because in this time I only was worried about stupid things and I didn’t be conscious of other important things for example my degree.

However, despite the increase in access to college education, different researchers show that the American college students may not be learning as expected (Stoesz, 2013). Learning experience varies among college students. It is not surprising that people with same academic credentials – the same list of course with same grades- have a different learning experience. Truck driving is very dangerous you have to be prepared. It is a very dangerous job and requires knowledge. The way I am going to be successful is if I graduate high school. Next I need to first get a class b driver license and then get a class A license. These process take a while to get but it is worth it.
