First and foremost, my primary career goal is to earn a bachelor's degree in computer science and possibly, computer engineering, within the next three to four years. I think obtaining a proper education would be a great step into jumpstarting my career goals and would put me towards the path of success. After, I am planning to obtain employment in the field of my study. Additionally, I also want to establish some other goals such as continuing to learn new information in both fields post- education by picking up and learning new skills and gaining new experiences, especially since technology is constantly changing on a daily basis. Meanwhile, I am also hoping to achieve learning to communicate more effectively and to network better at least

Throughout high school, I continuously explored a wide variety of courses in an attempt to figure out what career path I may want to pursue. As senior year drew closer, the business field became more enticing. Furthermore, my aspirations were significantly impacted on the evening of September 14, 2016. I woke up that day and left for school as if it were any other day. After school, I drove to the softball field because we had a game and it just so happened to be Senior Night: the last home game. When it came time for my first at bat, I stepped up to the plate and hit a line drive between the first and second basemen, successfully making it to first base. The next player up to bat hit a double; I rounded second and sprinted for third. I clearly remember my coach kneeling on the ground to signal me to slide into third base. For some unknown reason, I hesitated and slid too late. I knew it was a bad slide, but I was focusing on whether or not I was safe. Then reality set in, I was safe, but I was not physically capable of standing up.
My current strengths according to the LifeStyle Management Health Risk Inventory, is that I am punctual in seeing a primary care provider, whom I have seen in the past two years, it was suggested that it is of vital importance to do so, as a PCP can provide helpful information about my health and how I can improve any health problems I may have. Another strength of mine is that I get the flu shot on a regular basis, it is important to do so, as the flu virus does not spread to those who I am around and protects me from the virus. According to the LifeStyle Management Health Risk Inventory, my BMI is 21.03, which puts me in the healthy weight bracket, maintaining my weight in a healthy range will lower my risk for heart disease, cancer and other

I believe that my competency strengths are teamwork, leadership and communication also referred to as T.L.C. A goal cannot be completed by one person, a leader must not only trust that their team can complete the goal, but trust that they will be able to work together. Communication is also essential for leaders because it helps everyone understand what goals needs to be accomplished and what would be the best way to accomplish the goal. communication is essential because it allows me to form a bond with my team members and get to know everyone's personal strengths and weaknesses. I value everyone on the team and want to make sure that we are utilizing our strengths and improving our weaknesses. At the end of the day my goal as a leader is
Ask someone, and chances are, they’ll argue that health comes first. Doctors say it, parents repeat it, media promotes it, but in actuality, not many of those who suggest making health a priority can truly say that they’ve never jeopardized their health, whether that be through something as small as skimping on sleep or as big as stressing themselves out, for their job. While some might not consider it one, maintaining a certain BMI is another health benefit that goes neglected, especially in modeling, a career that carries the stigma of only consisting of starving girls who need to “eat a burger”. Luckily, I never had to worry about my weight mainly because I danced 22 hours a week, something I could maintain in middle school only because I was homeschooled. Once I started high school, however, I found it hard to stick to this rigorous schedule, so it wasn’t long

Healthcare industry is abroad topic, complex and diverse overall. I was not sure about my college major to pursue until my second year in college. My decision came to healthcare administration and policy when it came to my semester academic advising with my advisor at that time. I do not have family members or relatives directly related in the medical field but it was always an interest topic for me. Ultimately I heavily weighted on the healthcare field as my degree of studies and declared my major in health administration and health care policy.

The career goals I am preparing for include finishing my BSN, then continuing to receive my MSN, receiving my RN-C and becoming a clinical instructor for a community college. I plan to start taking classes for my MSN degree as soon as I finish my BSN because you must have a Master’s degree to become a clinical instructor. Becoming a clinical instructor has been a dream of mine since I started nursing school in 2009. When students come to the NICU for their observation day, I make sure to teach them everything I know about neonates because they only get one afternoon in the NICU and I want them to leave loving the specialty as much as I do. I want to teach clinical at a community college versus a four year college so I can encourage the nursing students to continue on for their BSN immediately upon completion of their Associate’s degree because “generally,

This degree will contribute to my long term professional goals by giving me the training and skills to grow in this field. I’m attempting to re-enroll at CSU and my first attempt was not successful. Looking back on it, I can see several reasons I failed. First, I didn’t dedicate the time that is needed to reading every day. Another reason would be I didn’t not take part in any of the message board assignments.
I have been trained to become a chemist since the first year of my high school. This is a challenging career, requiring analytical thinking, attention to details, and adaptability. It is also a well-paying and promising career. However, chemistry is not what I have always dreamt of doing the rest of my life. As someone who is concerned about the development of sub-Saharan Africa, I came to a conclusion that what this region needs is not only scientists but also people who know and understand leadership and international affairs. In this paper, I compare my strengths and abilities to the qualities that one should have in order to excel as a chemist and a diplomat.
