I remember the day I had to move to Atlanta, like it was yesterday.I remember watching the news and the reported kept repeating that the state of Louisiana was under state of emergency because Hurricane Katrina was coming and that everyone had to leave as soon as possible.Knowing that my home was going to be destroyed,made me feel so broken just because of the fact that there was so many memories there.My family didn't have big enough cars so we was able to take everything that we had in our homes,so most of my childhood pictures,toys,clothes..etc got destroyed.We didn't have a place to stay for like a week or so but eventually we found a shelter in a different part of Louisiana.

One year ago this morning on April 11/2016 I arrived to Charlotte, North Carolina after four day trip on Amtrack train. From San Jose, California to Charlotte, North Carolina.

My family got really excited because we haven't seen them in about 8 years. but my cousins on the other hand have already seen them about a month ago because my cousins from Virginia visited them while they were at Colombia for vacation. Me personally didn't like the trip to the beach because while I was drying off horseflies were attacking us so we had to run back to the car. When we arrived back to the house we ate pizza and while we were eating pizza we heard a knock on the door. We thought it was someone trying to get in the house but when we looked out the window it was our cousins from Virginia. My cousin Kendra and Sarah forgot who I was so we had to refresh their memory. Hi I am Jason Krause and I am 12 years old and I go to nbps. I've been going to school here for 7 years and I've enjoyed it. This summer I went to Alabama for 5 weeks ! I went there with my family and I saw my moms side of the family. I found out we were going 5 minutes after I got home and we were off to the airport in less than 45 minutes. It was a crazy day! Normally we would fly to Tampa or Atlanta but this time we flew to Baltimore. I was so tired in the airport on the way there and back. When we landed in Alabama it was 10:30 pm. In July of 2015, I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with my family. I did many adventurous and entertaining things while I was there. For instance, I went zip lining, went to Myrtle Waves (a water park), and flew in a helicopter. I just had a blast doing all of these activities. I surely won’t forget the experiences I had doing these things. The summer of 2015 is one I surely won’t forget!

I whent to linilos this summer because my gg, and gp were renewing there vowsn for 35 years . We drove it was fun we drove my paps truck it was my mom, dad my sister, papa , and me. My aunt was going there to but she got there befor us it was a long ride but I had fun. When we got there I got to see all of my aunt uncles and cusins I hade a great time we stade at a hotel and I had fun with my cusins we went swimming there in the pool at the hotel a cupple of times. And sunday we went to the church and it was a big church I got to play with my cusins I had a great time when we were done eating we did picters and we did the picters on the main floor and it was really hot on the main floor it went by familys and then grandkids grategrandkids

One day, I was in my house, In my room doing nothing but just playing my Xbox one S until suddenly my mom calls me for dinner I put down my controller headset and began to walk downstairs got my food then looked at the TV. “Hello, Bill Cosby here on Fox 5 news in Atlanta, just in scientist at the Fernbank science center claims that the oldest rock on Earth still buried somewhere submerged in metro-Atlanta and it’s worth a jaw-dropping 4.2 billion dollars!”. In Philadelphia, there are countless low cost and free events to take advantage of. I enjoy attending free concerts at both the Piazza at Schmidt's and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. I also enjoy the free science festival every spring. Every Sunday most museums in the city are free, so I frequently visit with both my family and friends. I also ice skate at either City Hall or Penn's Landing at least five times a year. Every first Friday of the month, I visit a free art festival in Old City that allows local artists to display or sell their art. On certain days of the week, I'm able to go to the movies with friends at a significantly discounted price. Also, two temples in the city have weekly events where vendors sell various cultural foods

Going to Portland helped me to grow up. To begin with, the story started when I suggested to my parents travelled to United State to learn English language. So, what really surprised me was when they accepted immediately without gave them any reason; therefore, I started looking into different advantages and disadvantages between states and cities to choose where I would go. Then I decided went to Portland city where located in Oregon state; However, I bought a ticket, but in terrible way. I travelled from Chennai, India to Oklahoma City, USA through Lufthansa Airlines on January 16, 2016 [flight route: – Chennai- Frankfurt – Houston – Oklahoma City]. I had my connecting from Houston to Oklahoma City through United Airlines monitored by Lufthansa Airlines. I had one check-in bag and one carry-on bag. I collected my check-in bag at the Houston airport and checked it in back at Houston (United Airlines desk) at 3.50 pm on January 16, 2016. Since, I missed my connecting flight at 3.55 pm; I had to get into my next flight at 5.50 pm. So technically I checked in my baggage 2 hours before my actual connecting flight. Nashville, Tennessee has a certain charm to it. The rush hours and constant movement can be a bit hectic, but to someone from a small town, it is appealing in an odd way. There are so many things to do and to see in the city. During my visit to Nashville, I became very certain that it was something that everyone needed to experience in their life. The atmosphere, the people, and all of the things to experience in Music City are fantastic. I recommend that people from small towns experience the atmosphere of a big city, such as Nashville because it is a wonderful experience that is so much different from a small town.

Family reunion time was the best. We celebrated the life of our family each year in July rather we missed one another or not. Our gathering together to swap stories, play games and eat could be compared to a weekend at the state fair. I mainly appreciated this time because of the food. My grandmother was the cook of the
