Every student and teacher dream of having a week off of school. But many times we aren't exactly sure what to do when that time arrives. It seems like almost every year I’m stuck at my house because most of my friends are away for vacation while i'm still pondering through Netflix trying to find a show to watch, and I’ve made no effort to try and hang out with the people still at home. However, this year is my senior year, my last spring break of high school. I need to make it the best one I can. So that brings up the question, what should I do over Spring break? I am not the few who are lucky enough to go on vacation whenever there’s a break off of school, but one shouldn’t need a vacation to have fun. I already have a pretty good idea of
I would want to go to Hawaii and go surfing, but that’s just me. You could also go to the mountains and go hiking. These are just places that I like to go, you can go anywhere you want, not just the beach or the mountains! On spring break, if you aren’t going anywhere in the morning, you can sleep in! That’s one of my favorite things to do on the weekends, but this is a whole week!
Like any other red-blooded American college student, you see spring break as a glimmering reminder that the darkness of midterm stress and seasonal affective disorder will soon be washed away in beachy sunlight. And lucky for you, it’s finally here! You’ll be interested to know that in my not-too-distant college years I discovered you can judge a person pretty well by their choice of spring break destination. So join me now, readers, as I do just that: judge you.
Spring break is mainly a time of partying for most teenagers that go to my high school, but I was off to California with my girlfriend’s family to pretty much explore a whole other side of the U.S.
Consequently, I like Spring Break, not only because I don’t have to worry about wearing a uniform, finishing projects, making presentations, and turning in homework but also because I receive the opportunity to go to the beach. Unlike the Summer, Spring is cool and creates a big desire to go to the beach. For example, this break my family and I went to the South Padre Island beach. We were able to enjoy it as a family and also with a nice breeze.
Everyone did something divergent this spring break. Therefore, I contemplate this mini vacation has been the first in five years I’ve done exciting things.
Do you ever feel like you are wasting away on winter break.Do you feel like it would be more fun if you were still in school.I have a two week break from school and I can go anywhere I want.So I am choosing to go to our beach house in Florida Keys.It would be adventurous. We will see new things and eat new foods.
The thing I liked about spring break that I did was when I went to the party over my cuzens house. It was very fun, we played Vollyball but I didn’t get to play that much mostly the grownups played instead of the kids, we played basketball and soccer. We had so much fun there and we all had a great time. The party was great and everyone had a great time there!!
What i did during my summer is that i went to summer school. It was so fun because, i went to many field trips like Pioneer, bowling, and Put In Bay.In Pioneer we learned about many jobs we can work on like fighter fiter, police dentist, docter, and crafting. In bowling we played for 1 hr and 30 min. It may seem boring, but when the light’s go off and the music turns on the actual fun begins. If you wear white socks and a white shirt they both start to glow. Maybe your favorite song in the whole entire world may pop out next and then you start singing like wild. It will be the best thing ever for some us. In Put In Bay we learned so much,it is a island. We first had to go by boat to get there. When we got there we first went to the Butterfly House,
Spring break is supposed to be a great time from the second it begins, until the second it ends. Now there is always that boring time it takes to get to wherever you may be going no matter how far that may be it is always the least fun of the entire vacation. My last spring break’s car ride happened to be the least fun by far of any trip I have taken up to this point in my life.
As a 7th grader in middle school, I was put into a situation where I became really good friends with people of a different nationality. Over Winter Break, a family from Japan moved into my neighborhood and just so happened that the house they were moving into was directly across the street from mine. As time progressed I began to see him outside playing baseball, a popular sport in Japan, with his dad and brother. One day I felt that I should go introduce myself to them, so I walked over and had a good conversation. All children in Japan take english classes which helps them become quite fluent. Of the two boys, one was a 7th grader, Shogo, and the other was a 5th grader, Gota. I quickly became friends with them and learned to respect
One of the greatest spring breaks I have ever had was last week.I spent time with my Mother,my Daddy,Thomas, and Evil (Evangeline).During that time I cleaned my house, played outside, watched movies with my family, and went to the park.To me what made it so great was all the singing, dancing, going to the park, movies,my family being there with me,and my dad being there at last. One thing I find similar in all breaks is family/friend time.
The summer between my Sophomore and Junior year in high school; my house got a lot more complicated than it already was. My step 3 siblings had moved in, with the oldest sibling’s child that had just turned two years old. My house already was busy with my brother and sister, sporting events and extra-curriculars. So my mom’s daily “headaches” as she would call them got as lot worse and more often: running us to practices, attending games and trying to find time just for herself became complicated.
Spring break is a time to spent with the one that are close to you. For example, my family and I like to spent time with one another by playing different kinds of bored games. Consequently, most night we don’t get to do that because of are busy schedules with school and work. In addition, it effects us all because we don’t get to communicate as we like to. As a result, having spring break helps us in being more united with are selfs. In summary, being on break is a huge part for my family and I.
Another thing you can do on spring is to go on trips because you can meet new people, and to try something new to have fun
If I had, like Ferris Bueller, a day off I would make my experience an envy of all by going hiking, sight seeing, and yoga in the mountains. I would go hiking because it's something that I want to do, but with my spring and summer schedule don't have time for. Going hiking would make it a day for other people to envy because it's an environment that doesn't create stress or conjure up worries. Hiking would create a relaxing and good vibe for the day unlike school. I would go sight seeing because there's so much to see in Colorado, but because of school I don't really have time to see the best sides of Colorado. Sight seeing would make my day off feel more like an adventure because there are places I've never been to before. Going sight seeing
