Personal Narrative: Stitched Up

Stitched Up “Falling down is an accident, staying down is a choice.” I believe this quote helps me understand the true meaning and purpose of getting back up again. It was a sunny day and my family and I decided to go and play outside in the front yard. So, I decided to ride my scooter and my sister was riding my brothers tricycle. However my other family members were being boring and just sat and watched us in the front yard. I was going super fast up and down the sidewalk. My sister was coming from the opposite side full speed. “Let’s do this.” declared my sister. I was going as fast as a speedy mustang. Well, not really, but you get the point! My sister had already came from that way so I could just go around. But, she I guess thought the EXACT same thing. My break on my scooter had been broken for a while and there was no break on the tricycle. I was going so fast you could barely see the green on my scooter. “WATCH OUT!!!” my dad screeched. I had forgotten to go around her therefore I collided with my sister. “ Well, let’s go back to the ER.” my dad commented. I always had to go to the ER, that’s why everybody calls me “accident prone” and I agree with the name to be honest. I mean, I was always the clumsy one in the family. My leg was as messed up as DT being president. Eventually, I was able to leave the hospital and go back home, my sister felt pretty bad. But today, she could care less about what happened. “Ashley that was so long ago!” she would complain to me. Although she says those types of things it doesn’t really bother me I mean, after all “ it was so long ago!”. I of course know to always watch where i’m going.
