Apollo Shoes Inc. is a medium-sized corporation. It has over 100 employees organized in five department including Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, and Legal Affairs. Apollo is a distributor of a technologically superior athletic product. Siren, Spotlight and Speakershoe are Apollo's premiere brands. Their products are shipped to large and small retailers across a six-state area.

Not just one pair, but dress shoes and athletic shoes. I have always known that I’m blessed to have all the necessities that I need in life, but never felt spoiled or that my expectations were too high. As I look at my closet filled with shoes, I think back to David. David was a little first grade boy I knew from the Ready Set Teach program. A little boy who struggled for everything he had in life and whose tattered shoes ironically touched my soul.

It all started on a rainy day and in Florida, that's common. It was the second week of 5th grade and everyone was done showing there new, cute school clothes. They were back to the same thrift store clothes they had last year, but not I! I was running late because I was on the hunt for the perfect outfit! It was my freshman year of high school where I was just a lost fish in a hugh sea of people attending Byron Nelson High School, with no clue who I was and my place in life. Life seemed rough but then again it was freshman year. When I was attending Byron I didn't know what I was going to do with my life in the future. On one day just like any other the morning school announcements came on; talking about some meeting in the counselor's office about some academy. At that time I had no idea what they were talking about and I had never even heard of Eaton High school, which happens to be the new high school for my school district. It came to lunch time where my friend that I sat with was absent, so I figured why not go see what this meeting is

During summer break of 2009, I was six years old. I got a machine called a backhoe. It was a white International. We bought it from a guy right by my grandma’s house. We loaded it up onto the trailer to bring it home. I wanted to be helpful, because my dad just bought me this backhoe, so I thought it would be a good Idea to lift up and put away the 75 pound lbs each steel ramps by myself. I lifted up the ramp and lost grip on it from a foot off the ground. It landed on my toe and split it open right behind the nail because when it came down it smashed my nail and separated that skin. When you hear the word sneakers, what do you think of? For me sneakers was a word that inspired me to be great. When i think of sneakers i think of people of a high caliber. For example, i think of Raf Simmons, Lebron James, Michael Jordan, kanye, and so many more. Fortunately, there's not only one way to view sneakers. Some people may see shoes as just a shoe, but others may see it as a culture and/or a way of life. At a young age i fell in love with sneakers. At the age of 12 i probably owned over 20 pairs of sneakers. I did this because i saw sneakers in a way that others didn't. For example, Jordan sneakers aren't just Jordan sneakers to me.
