The Catch Some people say money is the root of all evil. I didn’t see it that way. All I saw was a simple task and a big prize. Well, at least I thought it would be easy. I remember it like it was just yesterday. The hot sun. The loud neighbors. The game. This game was like no other. It was called $100 catch, and the rules were simple enough. There were ten levels, sometimes there were obstacles, and you had to catch the ball. If you could do all that, then you’d get the prize-- $100. Easy, right? I thought I had the $100 in the bag. I ran upstairs and told my dad that I accepted the challenge. The look on his face told me I was in for it, but even that wasn’t enough to rattle my confidence in winning.
