Personal Narrative: The Day I Shoot A Gun

I am currently living in Seattle, the Emerald City. Even with many wonderful aspects around this city, there are few things that I hope will change in the future. One of the problem that I faced was the gun violence.

“We’ll take you to see doctor Bleeden (Pronounced BLEEDING. WTF?) on Tuesday. He’s closed Monday for the holiday.”

For spring break, I went to the airshow and we brought out the family to go and see it. My family and I enjoyed seeing the air show that day. I also went out many times and walked my dog, which was pretty relaxing and went out for a jog. My other family came over and hung out a few times to be together and made food as well. I had track practice a few times and made me more active and felt better about myself, it was tiring but it was a great way to start my day on a daily basis. I had some of my spare time and got to draw many drawings over spring break because it’s what I like doing the most. Meanwhile my parents would work, I would have to babysit my two younger siblings and they were a pain sometimes but I would find a way to calm them

I had a good and fun spring break, and I bet it was way better than yours. On Saturday, I went to my moms friends house and had a big Easter Egg Hunt. They had a lot of food and eggs and I got a whole gallon size bag of candy. My cousins(who live in Indio) came to my house and stayed for 3 days, and we had the best time. We played in our trampoline, rode our scooters, played soccer and basketball, and made up this super fun game, that you have to ride around the track in our backyard, and one person had to try to hit you with a Stomp Rocket, and you had to try to dodge it.

I was little, six or seven when I shot my first gun. The Ruger ten twenty-two; the smallest gun we had in the house at the time. Dad was in a shooting contest with just shooting twenty-twos. Every now and then he would let me shoot. The first shot I ever took; Dad was there to help me shoot and learn what to do and what not to do. WHAM, the gun went off; the bolt slams open and I got the first smell and taste of gunpowder being burnt. Talk about the best smell and taste; that was one of them! I leaned over to Dad and asked: can I shoot some more? He said have at it. WHAM, WHAM, WHAM; all between 4 second of ejecting the round and pulling the trigger.

I can remember the day that my cousin Andrew got shot. Andrew wasn’t really my cousin. Andrew was my babysitter. When Andrew would babysit me he would always tell his friends to bring their siblings over for me to have someone to play with and company for him. Andrew was well known; everyone knew not to mess with him or get on his bad side because his family had a bad reputation, but Andrew was really a good guy. He had all A’s, wasn’t really a fighter, just an overall guy who lived the street life. He always told me that he never wanted to be in the streets and do the things he did for money, just to be successful and go to college. Andrew had a brother name Andre around my age and sister a little younger, so we were all close.

My favorite day of spring break was probably Wednesday. My least favorite day was probably every other day. On Wednesday, my family went downtown and had fun together. Every other day, I was babysitting two fourth and sixth grade boys.

On my spring break i spent time lots of time with my family that live with such as, my mom , my dad , my brother . we spent lots of time together ,playing games and going out to eat with my family on my amazing spring break.

Ten minutes till the shoot was to begin, and Michael was very quickly, very desperately trying to make sure everything was ready. He ushered out the assistants, made sure the lighting in the room was perfect, that the bed was soft and comfortable, and that everything that could be sorted out, was sorted. Normally he was never this frantic or thorough over the last year or so of his career, but when it was a new model that he wanted to impress? That he wanted to encourage? Then he pulled out all the stops and made sure that everything was going to be good. He didn’t want to just wow her, he wanted to ensure a lasting, professional relationship. And to encourage her to keep being a model if that was her desire.

After we left, we went to a coffee shop called Uncommon Grounds for some chai, however my best friends boyfriend got hot chocolate. Then to finish are day in the Cities, we got some ice cream at Sebastian Joes, I got Salted Caramel and Raspberry Chocolate

Over winter break I did not do a lot. First of all, Aubri and I were with each other the whole time. In addition, Chirstmas and New Years were super fun. I got a lot of gifts and went over to see my aunt. Finally, I went to the snow; It was my favorite part about winter break. That is what I did over break. I didn't do much, but I had lots of fun.

I sever arms, i'm steppin on this leprechaun, I got guns drawn from lebanon ima start blastin if this nigga get the message wrong. My flow so cold I make a niggas put they sweater on. Straight swaggin this nigga. and if this nigga talkin shit then im grabbin this nigga, and stabbin this nigga. You better be naturally focusing cuz if i catch ya poppin adderall and focalin then im stabbin with with a needle filled with rat poison and opium. I smoke n barley, but he don’t dumpee. He cuddly, like bunnies. I go go off, you so so and soft then i hit him with the shit that makes his hoes flows come off like whoa. Im twove with it uh. prolly shouldn’t did it yeah.

I come from the projects of Houston, Texas. I was born in an area called Trinity Gardens, the neighborhood that raised me taught me that if you want something you work for it, but if you are starving you do whatever it gets for it.

My spring break predictions were really close. Except for the hanging out with my cousins part. I had my friend toby over. He spent the night for 4 days. I also got to go to my friend ketons house and spent the night. I got to have cake and ice cream. My parents had their friends over and we ate dinner together. It was really fun and the food was super good. Me and my friend toby played lot of gta5 and when he went home I also played it a lot. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents too. But it was only my grandpa because my grandma was in Florida visiting her sister. When my sisters and mom went to the movies I stayed home and hung out with my dad because he's never home cause of his work. We cleaned his garage cause it was really dirty.

My Spring break was great. I used most of my Spring break jumping on my trampoline and doing cool tricks. My brother, Will, was a couch potato and played a lot of video games, to contrast I was active this Spring break.
