These three Punisher covers are the outcome of my first clumsy attempts at digital coloring! I made several drawings, they were more or less sketches, then completed with Photoshop. I still cherished that period of experimentation because, despite being really raw, that kind of experimenting made me realize how much I love the “analog” method!
To play a role given to us, isn’t fun once we learn of it, however, breaking away pushes us further into the journey. The Hero's Journey, a repetitive process that seems to be in the basic natural structure of every human, and despite any efforts are often replicating it ourselves. Following the journey is simple and sometimes unavoidable. The whole journey is mapped out by Christopher Vogler's The Writer's Journey. Then seen in Dracula, Bedazzled, and Noah. Also, in a easier way Howl's Moving Castle and The Game.
Why would you get something like that? Never mind it is pretty cool. Even though its like 100 feet tall!!! I thought you guys were just going to the store and you came back with a mosterice truck! Just quickly looking at this page, something that stands out is the art style. While many comic books often do more of cell shading, this comic book goes for more of a realistic style. Even the color pallet that is used is different, as it uses more subdued colors compared to more vibrant ones. The color pallet that is used sets a darker tone and that the comic book should be taken more seriously. It also tries to
Joseph Campbell has a theory called The Hero’s Journey in where an individual is shown in a mundane world, called to an adventure, and goes on the adventure. In the adventure, the individual goes on the path of trials that consisting of making new friends, new mentors, new enemies, facing new challenges, gaining new skills, and new knowledge. When the individual comes back to their mundane world, they are the master of two worlds through their new experiences they've gained in the adventure. The Hero’s Journey has been repeated in literature and films through many years: two examples that have The Hero’s Journey are the films, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
Change is inevitable. Whether it be positive or negative, change is constantly happening. More than often change can take you from the known world and spit you into the unknown, where you return a changed person. While embarking on the journeys provoked by change, you are on a hero’s journeys. The hero’s journey was popularized by Joseph Campbell. When describing what prompts hero’s journeys, Joseph Campbell said,
My parents have told me that when I was a toddler I would take books off the shelf and "read" them for hours. At the time I had no idea what the books were about, and would leaf through the pages looking for pictures and familiar words (such as "firetruck," suffice to say I didn't recognize very many).
oals, I thought to myself as I sprinted down the field, ball in my net. The scorching sun beat down on my back, as if trying to slow me down as I passed defender after defender, trying to score that next goal.
On the third day Rodger text me saying he need more time to get someone to bring him over to the house to get his things. Thinking to myself we are not playing this game he is not going to hold me by a string leaving his stuff in my home. He wants to leave his stuff here so he will have a place to crawl back to when he feels like letting go of his other women. Not bothering to text him back I went through the house making sure nothing of his was left lying around and put it all in trash bags.
Two years ago I would never have thought that he would be dead now and that she would be happily smitten by somebody else.
I am sorry, I know that by now you probably see an email from me and think, ‘oh my gosh, is she ever going to stop?’ I will, but I need ALL the gory details before I can. It may seem insensitive of me to need this information, but I’m his wife and I wasn’t there, and while I realize that you were not there either, I’m sure that you have a much better understanding of exactly how it happened and to be quite frank, I’d like to be enlightened.
If I were given the capability to travel back in time I would go back to 73 B.C. and hear towards the gladiatorial school in Capua. I always wanted to travel back in time to when there was no digital technology. It would be fascinating to see what they did for fun such as watch gladiators compete against each other. How their lives would be far different from the way we live ours. I would like to see all that but there is one particular person I would like to meet and follow through his journey to what led to his death, his name is Spartacus. I believe it would be interesting to meet such a man capable of putting fear into one of the strongest empires in the world.
I don't remember the day but I know it was in the summer.i was still 5 and was a crazy kid.it was a sunny day.me and my friends were having fun and we were just playing tag.then we played hide and seek.then some other kids came out.so we played tag again then we went back home.the next day it was only me and one of my other friends in my mind i was thinking why was no one coming out.so me and my friend just played hide and seek.while we were playing i thought to myself what if they went to a party and didn't tell me.but I didn't care.while i was running i was distracted and looked behind me.then i tripped a branch and fell on a bunch of rocks to be honest i thought it was nothing when i stood up i felt the excruciating pain and fell on the ground.
Several years ago, when I was five years-old, I watched the movie The Karate Kid (1984) starring Ralph Macchio as the bullied teen who comes out of his shell, having mastered a form of martial arts. At that tender age, I was impressed by the fact that such a mousy adolescent came out of his shell in such an impacting way. Mr. Miyagi (played by Pat Morita) was especially impressive with his quiet demeanor and extraordinary martial arts skills. The movie was a bit old-fashioned, but I loved it! Although I was never bullied, I knew that I wanted to be just like Daniel Larusso, the character that Ralph Macchio played: strong and disciplined. So when the chance came along to join a martial arts class came along, I grabbed it. I started taking classes
When I was a little girl, my father and I used to bond over long rides on country roads. During one of these trips, we ventured too far into unknown territory and became lost and boxed in by a narrow road with trees on one side and a fence on the other. By the time he managed to turn the car around, my dad saw that he must have pushed against the fence, which now hung back partly trampled.
This relationship of evil takes place over many years. I had a lot of ups and downs to overcome and conquer. This relationship was not the best, but it surely was the worst that I have ever been through. It took a toll on me in so many ways. Some of which I still currently struggle with to this day.
