A few years ago, in first grade, I was in what my friends and whoever else was in the class with us call the first grade war. I know it sounds odd, but this happened. In the middle of first grade year almost every girl in first grade was crushing on Dylan.
Dylan has been my best friend since day one, but some of my friends and I were in a group, we called ourselves the Wolfpack. We got that name because we acted like wolves, and the Crawford County high school was considered the wolfpack too.
In our little group there was at least ten of us, and out of the ten of us only like four of us didn’t have a crush on him.
The four of us that didn’t like Dylan were all good girls, and we didn’t want to lose any friends so we stuck with them and tried
It's a Friday afternoon, I plan to go to Great Wolf Lodge in an hour with my church. I see one of my friends so he says to his mom “ Hey, that's my friend” I said “Crap” So I go inside to sign in to go and see my friends just sitting in a corner on a big sofa. We are listening to music and just talking then a green bus comes.
I have lived in only one location my entire life: Edwardsville, Illinois. A peripheral suburb of St. Louis, it stands as the rare oasis of people in a desert of corn, pinned in its own personal bubble. Due to this blend of time and isolation, I developed a natural familiarity with my hometown. But, throughout my childhood, I longed to break free from the confines of the bubble and venture outward. However, this changed last summer, as I walked through Richards Brickyard, our family heirloom, that my great-grandfather, Benjamin Richards, founded over 120 years ago. I felt these childlike sentiments slip away. The bubble that had surrounded me for so long began to vanish, and the picture that it had been obscuring was slowly revealed.
I then met a friend i still know to this day his name was Dakotah he's super nice and friendly he is in this thing we call THE CREW it is a group of my friends including Brayden,Dakotah,Cory and myself.
It is true in life that everything happens for a reason. It is also true to say that sometimes it is all about being in the right place, at the right time. There was never a more prominent example of this than a traumatic summers evening, only a few years ago.
Jason doesn't really work well with others because he forgot about the band thing he just talked about himself.
things tended to stay the same. Dylan still interacted with his other friend group aside from Eric
Over my years of school, one big influence on me has always been sports. Ever since a young age, I have always enjoyed playing and watching sports. In my four years in high school, I have fell in love with the sport of lacrosse.
I woke up and took one bite out of my pop tart but that one bite was all I could eat. My legs were shaking, and my heart was pounding. My dad told me, “It is a true honor to even make it this far so go out there and have some fun.” Once I heard this statement, I knew I was ready to go. I arrived at school and boarded the bus. The car ride was an hour and fifteen minutes of hearing the squeaking of the wheel on the bus. My teammates were getting their heads ready for the big game.
That was a lot of money, and I didnt want to let Tony down so I got in the car and started to drive. As I drove the road was empty. I had confidence I was not going o get caught. It was a slightly wormer day out witch might have been because the sun was out. I had the windows down and was blaring music just trying to enjoy life when a cop pulls out behind me.
Just so you know, this is the Big Apple and I rule this town. New York City is filled with tall buildings, great culture, and historical sites. No other city has so much beauty that it takes your breath away; yet, there is a real danger that lurks on the streets. I should know because I am Detective Michael Morgan a United States Super Spy in charge of capturing dastardly villains who are set on destroying our world. Armed with mind-altering powers, Alex Higgins is on the top of the FBI’s list of the ten most wanted men in America. This thug is one of the greatest danger to our world and must be captured and jailed in the vault of death. There is no place safe for him to hide from the law and rumor has it, he is in my town. You break the law here in New York City, you pay the ultimate price: freedom.
Walking away from everything you once knew and starting over is never a picnic. Leaving Iraq, and moving to America has impacted my life more than anything. I was only 4 years old at that time, and the only English I spoke was “excuse me, water please.” My family and I did not know it then, but our lives were going to change; we would become “Americanized”. Learning English was one of the massive changes that occurred, the way I dressed (culture), and even the way I had power to go to school and educate myself.
Throughout the conversation, Susan did not inform me that the home was still in First Look and not open to investors at this time. Susan did not highlight any features of the home, nor did she talk about the neighborhood or the surrounding area. When asked, Susan paused to reference the property file and stated, "In looking at the pictures it appears that it needs interior paint, carpet, appliances, and a few windows, which the previous seller must have taken." She stated, "I don't know why they have to remove things from the homes." I asked, "Do you have offers?" She paused to check the property file and answered, "No offers." I asked, "Is the property behind the home farmland?" She paused to reference the property file and replied, "It appears
In late September of 2010, was the year I learned a new word “Depression”! I was in 1st grade and everything was fun because I had no responsibilities or worries. I didn’t know how to feel grief for a long time because I was always happy. I didn’t know that a family member could own a child.
I Chose Patrick- “the skater / suicidal” because I think that I have the most in common with him out of the other kids like, we both dress the same to a certain degree, and we both act the same. Some example of experiences that he went trow are, when he when down a part of the high school that he was not supposed to because that was the cowboys spot and a being fight broke out. In my opinion on that is stupid because students should have the right to go in any part of the school and not get yelled at or by a group of people or start a fight with a group of people.
I remember the first remember the first time I met him. It started when I got to my new school I made a few friends, but still didn’t know him. Then there was one day when I was in after care. My brother was there and he said he was playing tag with someone so I decided to play as well. Then I met him His name was also Andrew, and he was in the grade under me. When I first saw him he was so energetic it was insane he was so full of energy. He seemed like a very nice person, but then we started playing teen titans go. So he took it too far and punched everyone in the stomach while screaming booyah. So I thought that it wasn’t going to work out. The next day we played with him again, and he was also rough. Then we eventually became really close friends over the long school year. It was really fun, but then since the elementary school only went up to fourth grade I went to the next school. So I had to survive fifth grade without him.
