I wont to be a 1st grade teacher because I like teaching other people. And I like helping people with there work like I like to feel smart. And the thing that I like best about the job is that I just like helping other people with stuff and I don’t want them to be stupid. What if don’t nobody won’t to teach them then they is not going to know nothing and what if they won’t a good job. And they can’t get it because they don’t know nothing. And also I like working with kids. And I would like to give the little kids something cause I just like sharing. That’s why I won’t to be a 1st grade teacher.
If you want to be a teacher then you are going to need to know what grade you want to teach. And you have to go to college. And tell them what grade
I would like to be a teacher because I have always been the one that’s eager to make a difference, I want to be the teacher that children remember for the rest of their life even after school. The love that I have always had for children is what drew me to teaching and the love that I have for learning is where I got my passion to teach. I have been inspired by many teachers in the past who has had a positive impact on my life and these are the ones that I have viewed as a mentor, leader and even as a parent. One particular reason that I chose to pursue a career in the education field is because I believe that when teachers work individually and collectively they have the ability to improve and change the world.
When asked why I want to be a graduate school teacher’s assistant (TA), my honest answer is the financial benefits. Being an out of state applicant, the financial responsibility is significantly higher. The University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee is my dream graduate school. The clinical opportunities, unique elective offerings, and welcoming staff are only a few reasons why I am so drawn to this program. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have worked tirelessly to get to where I am today with selecting a graduate school. After working so faithfully for the past 4 years, I do not want to let financial liability stand in my way of committing to my desired school. Being a TA will provide me with the financial backing needed to make my aspirations a reality.
The reason I want this job is because in middle school, I realized I wanted to help people. First, I wanted to be an art teacher, but now I feel a calling for becoming an elementary school teacher where I can teach something as important as reading
My decision to be a teacher did not come easily to me. This choice was dependent on a reflection about what I was passionate about and how I could make a difference. I have chosen to become a teacher, as I believe teachers have the ability to provide future generations the stimulation for one of the most significant roles in life; to become a lifelong learner. Many teachers that I have had during my education have had a positive impact on my decision to grow and develop the skills that are fundamental to pursue a successful teaching career. My aim is to be a part of an honorable profession with the optimism that one day I will become an efficacious teacher who can provide future teachers with inspiration, as my teachers have provided for me. Through personal educational experiences and peer-reviewed academic literature, I am able to shape my approach to my pre-service teaching, as it will influence my future practice. As a teacher, there is not just one singular approach to educating students; there is a need for flexibility, diversity, adaptation and reflection.
I think since I would always talk to my teachers in grade school they would give me advise and I want to help kids educationally wise but also help guide them in life. Being a teacher will allow me to be social with kids but with adults too. A teacher has control of their classroom and does not have to depend on anyone else to teach and since I like to have control of things and do not have to really rely on someone takes that some stress of me. Mainly I would like to be a teacher because some of the teachers I had in the past help me get on the right path and really helped me and guided me to do better and I would like to do that for other
Elementary school teachers are constantly looking for a way to do things better. How can I engage my students in my instruction? How can I make their learning purposeful to their lives? How can I be more efficient in my planning and effective in my teaching? The Daily 5, a reading instruction program created by Gail Boushey and Joan Moser, claims to be the answers to these questions. Boushey and Moser (2012) created the program after teaching and observing others’ literacy blocks. The program is said to “engage students, [and] also teach and promote self-independence on tasks” so that the classroom teacher can attend to individual students’ needs (LaShomb, 2011, p. 1). Boushey and Moser (2006) claim that not only does the program allow students to become self-sufficient learners, but it also engages them in meaningful literature daily.
To help become a middle school teacher you can take some high school classes. Such as peer tutoring, child development, and some schools offer being a student teacher. You also have to at least have a bachelor’s degree. May have a better chance getting a job if you have a master’s degree. You have to go to college for secondary teaching that goes from
I graduated from George County High School in May of 2013. My freshman year of college I attended South Alabama and struggled terribly. Due to personal issues I transferred to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and am now back at South for my junior year. I plan to begin candidacy in the fall of next year and receive my bachelors in Elementary Education. I hope to one day receive my masters and my bachelors in child psychology.
Why did I decide to be a teacher? One day as I was working as a cashier a first grader was telling me about her school and said their are a lot of insentives for going to her school. At first I thought this little girl could not possiblely know what the word insentives mean, so I ask her what insenives are there for going to your school and she told me that if she reads so many books they get prizes and treats. I was blown away not only did this girl know what insentives means but used it in a sentence and gave examples. It was that that moment I relized I wanted to teach children. In my school I felt like I didn't learn enough. I was labled slow and I feel I was gaven up on.
I am currently a student at Barton Peveril college studying: Biology , Psychology and Sociology. I chose these subjects because I enjoy science and I have a particular interest in child development and behaviour, due to these interests I am keen to pursue a career in education as a primary school teacher. I particularly enjoy psychology, so far we have investigated: child development and behaviour. Within this we learnt how children of different ages are able to learn different things at different stages. For example a child does not acquire the cognitive ability to conserve until over the age of seven. This is where they understand that something stays the same in quantity even though its appearance changes.I found this particularly interesting because younger children would think that the amount has changed because the appearance has changed.
Throughout my life, I attended a very small school. My teachers I had have been the ones that inspired me to become a teacher. I was inspired to become a teacher by my sixth-grade teacher, Mrs. Haney. She taught me that no star was too hard to reach. She made me believe that if I put a goal in my mind, that I could tackle it and that I could make it. Before I had her class, I really didn’t have any self-confidence. However, while I was in my class, she made my self-confidence boost. This wonderful person that was a part of my life has lead me to make the decision of become a teacher.
Hello Corrine Johnson, I see in your post that you said you want to teach Kindergarten. Firstly, bravo to you, I do not have kids of my own, but the idea of dealing with so many young kids is something I could never see myself doing. I do have to ask though, why Kindergarten? In your post you made the comment that it was because of your son, but you also stated that he had disabilities and it was put as if these were the reason you wanted to teach Kindergarten. I myself had a learning disability and dyslexia when I was younger, which made me want to become a teacher. I was wondering, have you ever given any thought to working with kids with learning
Here is why I have chosen in my teaching career to take care of the little ones. There are so many unique and special things about them and who they are. When I thought about whom I will be teaching I thought of the babies. For they are our future. Then you have toddlers who are just starting to become aware of their world. After I thought of preschoolers who need to learn how to love and care for others. Following are the kindergarteners who can do anything they put their mind too. Teaching these kids is the reason for me being. I have come to know kids are smart, sweet, and helpful. Children are all different and that’s the world. If we all were the same, then life would be uninteresting. It would be just day after day of the same thing. As you know kids change and nothing stay the same with them. Each child has their personality and culture that best represent them. There is a difference in children and their ages. Each age goes through something different. You have infants who are being born. A birth of a baby can have many unique situations. For example, Max being born premature. Asia says mom at ten months for the first time. Infants also grow throughout these ages of 1 month to a 1-year-old. They start out small but over the year they get bigger. Learning motor skills at 2 months. Infants brain still developing. Learning words such as mom, dad, cat, and dog. Starting to understand somewhat the things around them. Infants are smarter than we think. They may not get it,
From the time I was a seven years old till the current day, as a Sophomore at Benedictine University, I have wanted to become a teacher. The four years of high school, Oswego High School, I truly become passionate to become a teacher. I took the necessary general education classes, and my elective classes learning about child development and early childhood education. Once I graduated high school, I felt confident to become a teacher, but I discovered that special education was what I truly wanted to do. From the first day or first grade up to now, I have become a success student, which I can’t wait to become teacher I want to be an aspirational teacher one day to my future students.
Why am I a teacher? When I was a child I always had to pretend play school with my friends and I always had to be the teacher. My mom was a preschool teacher at the local day care center and I grew up seeing her cut bulletin boards and plan lessons. My best friend in middle school 's mom was also a teacher. I never wanted to be anything else and didn 't really have a back up plan if this teaching thing didn 't work out. In this paper I will take you on a journey through my educational years in elementary school and middle school, my time high school, delve into my time in college and then into my career as a teacher.
