Loren, I am reaching out to you to let you know I still have a strong interest in joining the team of hard working individuals at Inspro. Throughout the years of working with Inspro and the relationships I have with employees of Inspro, I believe this would be an ideal work environment for myself and my future. I am in a unique situation with my current position at Nationwide. I am aware, once the building closes here at 3401 Village Drive, I will be able to work from home. However, I am not sure this is a longer term career plan for me and I need to be cognizant of the environment I work in everyday and what is happening around me. I am a people person and I have been in a work from home environment in my past Personal Lines Insurance
If selected for admission, I plan to take advantage of IMSA’s unique learning opportunities by working diligently in all of my classes, joining clubs and teams to learn from my peers, and participating in Student Inquiry and Research to satisfy my curiosity and allow for more independent work. I come from a small high school with approximately one hundred students per class. Funding is a constant problem and learning opportunities are thus very limited. I’ve attempted to take as many science and math classes as possible, as well as world history, foreign language, and an advanced English course, but I still do not feel challenged. My school has done what it can to enhance my learning experience, but my math and science classes aren’t quite
My interest in entering medicine was a combination of many factors. My love for biology, chemistry, and math in high school, and my admiration and high respect for doctors and their noble work gave me primary reasons for pursuing a career in Medicine. One of my college professors, great mentor Dr. Kamolov during one of his lectures mentioned that if you want to live happily keep in mind two things in your life. First, choosing your profession is crucial: you will spend most of your time in your job and if you choose the profession which you are interested in, you will be happy and be successful in your career. Second, choosing your spouse is vital: you will spend most of time with your family, with the right supportive spouse
I have applied to the Master’s degree in Nursing program for Spring 2018, and I'm particularly interested in enrolling in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Acute Care track. I have almost 10 years of clinical experience working as a Registered Nurse in the pediatric hospital setting; am a Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) and Pediatric Nurse (CPN); have certifications in ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, and BLS; and currently work in a leadership position as Patient Flow Supervisor. The opportunity to apply my skills and experience in the PNP program is an exciting prospect, and will greatly assist in achieving my career goal as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I have a strong clinical background; however, my main concern in acceptance to a Graduate
I am a motivated finance and management professional that is eager to acquire additional knowledge and experience. My self-determination and fortitude has made me an asset to my organization. My finance skills include the ability to accurately formulate budgets, analyze trends, and effectively track sales. In a management setting, I am experienced in creating marketing plans, building relationships with clients, and supervising a moderately sized staff. I am often acknowledged for taking the unconventional route in management. Co-workers and supervisors recognize my extensive attention to detail, while being accessible at all times. In addition, I excel at troubleshooting and adapting to change in a dynamic industry. Furthermore, I approach
Being a nurse not only means compassion, dedication, and intelligence, but the profession also requires endurance, personal sacrifice, and the need for continuous education. I have learned that nurses are some of the most caring and selfless people that anyone will ever meet. Nurses are more than willing to complete challenging tasks and care for others in a way that the majority of people are unwilling to. I am driven to bring all of these qualities into my role as a future nurse practitioner, which is why I am committed to pursuing my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP).
It was great meeting you and the other GLI staff members during my campus visit. The information that was shared was very informative and insightful. I believe my higher education administrative, distance online education and instructional design experiences would allow me to contribute greatly to the GLI team. Again, it was a pleasure meeting you and the GLI staff
With the changes to the working from home policy, and with our shortage of NLA members, I wanted to revisit working from home this upcoming week.
I am a disabled father of 6 children, attempting to discover a way to keep up with societies rapid pace. I am educated in several vocational skills, but the visual disability I live with deters me from practicing successful employment at the labor levels of my experiences. By pursuing a degree in business administration more doors will be potentially open for me to explore operating a business of my own as a sole-proprietership. However, tuition for school seems to be a potential setback from getting started. Operating a self-sufficient green farmer seems like the route of business that I will be able to manage. With the curriculum I have my abilities to handle most operations has already increased. I have already achieved a gain in my self-awareness from achieving excellent grades. If possible, furthering my education goal to include additional courses may help in developing my business plan.
WPI has always stood out as a perfect university for me. All its features — from its diversity of students and staff to its exceptional academics — make it a perfect match for me. Its urban location facilitates both academic and social networks, promoting a steadfast environment, and the campus creates a very comfortable learning and living environment. Academically, I hope to pursue my interests in bioengineering, where I can collaborate with other students and professors to create and develop artificial tissues, organs, and other organ components that can be used to replace damaged or missing limbs. By attending WPI, I know that I could work hand in hand with some of the best professors, doctors, and hospitals in the country, researching
I was solicited for an SMT position by CVS fall of 2015. December 2015 I left my general manager position making more money to train and become one of 8900+ as a CVS store manager, however I did not actually start until February 2016 because of the transition from SMT to SMIT program. It was at the advice of my former D.M. David Banks to become a shift/Rx versus remain an SMT and could be forced to run a store and if not prepared I could lose my job. Looking back I wish I kept my position. I believe in myself enough to know that it would not take me two years to acquire the knowledge it takes to run a store and did not sign up to be one of 1,000,000,000 shifts. My former manager Dorothy Ingram 7351 was also my former district’s training
My choice to attend FIU was one of the easier ones I’ve made so far in my academic career. I was drawn to the university as I felt a sense of community here that has only been further enhanced as a legacy, with both my mother and stepfather having completed their Bachelor degrees at this institution. The relationships and connections my parents were able to build here were a testament to FIU’s ability to bring together people from so many different backgrounds and create a family. I experienced an even greater connection as my stepfather found a lifelong friendship and mentor in an FIU staff member and honored him by making him the godfather of one of my younger brothers. Thus, FIU has been a special part of my life even before college was
I am interested in working at BlackRock because I believe that it is where I can achieve my goal, which is to work for a company where I can apply and demonstrate my strengths and skills at my full potential, and finally improve myself through work. I don't like to be satisfied what, where and who I am today, and I strive to be a better self every day, therefore, I wish to work in the financial industry where a lot of drastic changes happening so that I can find improvements every moment. With the innovative solutions and strategies BlackRock has, I would like to be a part of the group that leads the top of the finance world and experience how it feels to work under such a pressure. I believe the working environment that BlackRock has, is the
It was the fall of 2002. Hundreds of us were waiting for hours in a mile-long line under the sun of our eternal summer. One girl passed out, and then another. I was 16 and enrolling for the first semester at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). I was standing in line among the crowd, waiting patiently, and eager to start following my dream of helping people through studying one of the most honorable and rewarding arts, medicine.
When I was a fourth year medical student, I had a summer volunteer rotation in Intensive Care Unit at University of Illinois Hospital at Chicago. It was a very short time but it definitely impacted my life. Those two months spent there helped me to see the great clinical and investigational opportunities that United States has which are being offered to young physicians. I was very impressed with the excellence of education and dedication in research. It was then that I decided to pursue my future career in US.
I’ve always been interested in people. When I was a kid, I watched endless television and read just as many books. I’d even lie about my age online to enthusiastically contribute to Yahoo! Answers forums about parenting and baby names, and I was one of those eleven-year-olds on Facebook. Narratives fascinated me, and thus, my love for the humanities developed. When high school rolled around and I entered freshman year, I was introduced to filmmaking and its corresponding creative community. Making movies allows me to release constrained emotions and ideas in a visual way, something giving theoretical advice to strangers or watching television didn’t accomplish. That being said, parallel to my interest in the fictional and interactive, I maintain a slightly neurotic obsession with reading the
