On June 25, 2015, my personal vehicle was damaged while I attended Trivia Night at R Macs Tavern between the hours of 2100 and 0000 that evening. The tavern is located at 110 White Horse Pike in Oaklyn, NJ and my vehicle was parked legally and unattended in the parking lot when the incident occurred. The damage to my vehicle’s driver’s side front fender (crushed) and side mirror (broken) was noticed the next morning in the daylight before reporting to day patrol. During the morning hours, I recalled that I parked under one of the business’ outside security cameras. I placed a call to the tavern and spoke to Jack Fister, the morning maintenance person. I chose Elmer’s based upon previous vehicle repair and that the facility is extremely close to my residence. The estimate was written by Don C. for $1533.73 as attached. At 0900 hours, I met with Byron in front of his residence with my vehicle and gave him a copy of the estimate. I informed Byron the repairs were going to take 5-7 days and that I was not seeking a rental car. Bryon briefly looked over the estimate, agreed to the cost and related that he needed a week to gather his portion ($500.00) of the total cost. I also informed Byron that once all the funds were collected between his friends, to take the funds to Elmer’s. Approximately one hour later, I received a call from Don, the co-owner of Elmer’s. Don related that Linda Sheehan (co-owner) received a call from Byron. During this call, Byron used foul language and screamed at Linda, questioning the cost of the repairs. On 05/06/17, at 12:28pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to 3162 E 5th Ave, on a dog on dog or cat attack no known owner of attack dog. I arrived at the location and met with the caller Carrie Samander and her boyfriend complainant Edward Oryan. I asked what happened, Mr. Oryan stated that he was walking his dog (grey/white Pit Bull) down the alley when the neighbor’s dog (white/brown Pit Bull) down the street (3189 E. 6th Ave) got loose and attacked his dog. Mr. Oryan dog protected him by getting in front of him and defending him against the pit bull. An unknown male Hispanic juvenile came out and tried to retrieve the white/brown pit bull. Mr. Oryan took his dog home and Ms. Samander than contacted the Franklin County Animal Care and Control (FCACC). Ms. Samander stated that this is the second instance in the last few months that this white/brown pit bull got loose and attack her dog. Ms. Samander stated the injuries to her dog are minor but, that she will still be taking her dog to his injuries looked at. On 05/30/2015, at approximately 1816 hours, your affiant observed a silver Chevrolet Classic occupied by two males. The vehicle circled the block in a counterclockwise manner, repeating a portion of their route. During this time I located the owner of the vehicle utilizing a search through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The registration indicated the plate belonged to another vehicle and registered to Brittney Fisher, who was not an occupant in the vehicle. I activated my emergency lights initiating a vehicle stop in the 100 block of West Washington Street and while stopping the vehicle I observed the passenger making furtive movements towards the center console.
On 05/08/18, at approximately 10:56am, I Deputy Warden N. Christian with Franklin County Animal Care and Control (FCACC) was dispatched to 4514 Starrett Court on a dangerous or vicious dog investigation (dog owner owner's address). I arrived on scene at approximately 11:25am. I met with victim Syed Naque, who stated he was outside his resident when a medium size dog (black) came up from behind him and bit him on his right thigh. Mr. Naque stated the dog continue to come at him in a aggressive manner even after he went inside the house, the dog would charged the side door. On 11/22/16, at 4:02pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to the 600 block of Bedford Ave on dog at large patrol only. I arrived in the area and saw two dogs, one a small mix breed black and white and a tan and white pit bull, in the front of 681 Bedford Ave. I exited my vehicle and slowly approached the house. I knocked on the dog. Dog owner Robin Holmes-Muhammad answered the door. I asked if the two dogs on her porch belong to her, she stated that they did. I advised Ms. Holmes-Muhammad that we received a complaint that the dogs were running loose. Ms. Holmes-Muhammad apologized and took both dogs inside the house. Ms. Holmes-Muhammad stated that the tan/white pit bull does not really belong to her it was on her front porch
At approximately 16:43 hours I arrived in the area of 120th Ave and Oliver Road. Once I turned east I saw a blue truck parked in the roadway. As I approached the vehicle I noticed three people sitting the guardrail to the railroad crossing arm. I approached the three and asked them to step away from the tracks and towards me. The three did so without hesitation. A male, who I know from previous encounters as Richard Wayne Hamilton, asked why the Sheriff's Office was called when they weren't doing anything wrong. I explained to Richard that his vehicle was blocking the lane of travel and when I approached they were trespassing on railroad property. Richard stated he was not trespassing as the group had been given permission by BNSF Police given that they were not parked on the tracks and were clear of the tracks as trains were traveling through the area. I told Richard I would contact BNSF Police and verify this information.
On August 4, 2017 at approximately 2:40pm, Officer Lucas Griffin and I, Officer Kyeishia Evans, with the Ville Platte Police Department, was dispatched to 902 West Lincoln Street, Ville Platte, Louisiana, in reference to a business alarm. Upon arrival I witnessed a maroon 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe bearing license plate number ZTC679. I checked the vehicle and it was locked; however, I noticed the car was warm, as if the car had just been parked in the parking lot. I also noticed the back door of the business was opened. On 9-7-2016 at about 0950 hrs I was dispatched to the Seasons on Lea Hill for a vandalism report. Enroute dispatch advised that the victim, Shawntea Mason, had contacted 911 to report that she had discovered damaged to her vehicle.
On 10/21/2017, Deputy Warden W. Jones with Franklin County Animal Care and Control (FCACC) investigated an injury-possible dangerous or vicious dog incident involving victim Linda Courson. Ms. Courson was walking her dog near 491 Townsend Ave when two Pit Bulls (Tan) came charging out of the above stated address and attack her dog. Ms. Courson sustained injuries during the incident from the two pit bulls knocking her over. Deputy Warden W. Jones collected a statement of facts from Ms. Couson. Deputy Warden W. Jones went to the above stated address and knocked on the door. He received no answer and left a door notice. Deputy Warden W. Upon my arrival, I spoke with the complainant Jerry McDonald. Mr. McDonald told me he went to town to runs some errands. When Mr. McDonald returned back to his residence he observed his Lincoln car was not at his residence, so he figure his wife had went to town in the car. Mr. McDonald told me when he walked inside his residence his wife was inside their residence. He asked his wife where the car was and she had thought Mr. McDonald had taken it to town. This officer responded to Priced Rite Tree Service in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, this officer contacted Middleborn, who advised they just noticed their 1988 Chevrolet black pickup was missing. Middleborm advised the vehicle was stolen sometime within the last 3-4 days. Middleborn stated an employee was supposed to take the vehicle in for repairs. Middleborn stated he called the company and learned the vehicle was never dropped off. Middleborn stated he spoke with his employee and learned the employee thought the vehicle was already in for repairs and did not check with anyone.
On 9/28/16 at 8:30 AM, Area Manager Daniel Ahner notified Shift Supervisor Ashley Lorah that a RJ Davis Yard Jockey caused damage to a trailer while backing up into dock door 4. RJ Davis Yard Jockey Danny Gorski, driving tractor 241 pulling trailer P5076637 out of slip location F-957, accidently damage the trailer’s door while backing up into a dock door. Mr. Gorski stated that while he was backing the trailer into the dock door, he notice that trailer’s door unlocked and hit against the building. No damage was found to the dock door but, the hinge on the trailer’s door was damaged.

What I think was most difficult for me was watching the documentaries during the driving project. I myself prefer reading an article over watching a documentary, so I found it very hard to concentrate due to the many distractions watching a documentary could lead to. I found a lot more information reading the articles and handouts than the videos. I took most of what I know now out of what we were given before the project started. I enjoyed my time while working with my group, finding images and songs. The workshops offered were also a big asset in what I took away from this project, as they are closer to a one on one lesson, and more hands on.
