A Journey Life might just be one of our most unique and unpredictable events that everyone experiences. There are so many factors and unforeseeable changes in everyone's’ future that almost anything is possible. There are no promises to what will happen later on in your life but you can always choose what paths you take that will get you to where you should be. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.”. To put this quote in action you’d have to push your limits a little and maybe that’s how people find fulfillment in the later stages of life. What people think happens after they die is somewhat different for everyone. Religion plays a role in lots of people’s reasoning behind what they think will happen. I believe that there is a heaven and a hell and that you must be saved to go to heaven. There are cases of people who have died and came back to life after being coded. Doctors claim to have patients wake up from a surgery and talk about out-of-body experiences, such as going to heaven or hell. Lots of these people say that after they had died it was very peaceful and inviting like there was nothing to fear. However, people who went to hell said things such as, it was terrible and seeing horrible things that were easy to re-live or remember. Most of these people who had these after-life experiences have wrote books about what they saw or even about advice they received from people they mention seeing while on
Being an athletes is one of the best-paid jobs on Earth. Being that they are paid so much the cost for the consumer is very high. The prices of tickets and sports memorabilia have been steadily rising over the years. The average ticket prices for the NHL, MLB, NBA and NFL all rose 5% to 10% this year, according to Jon Greenberg, executive editor of Team Marketing Report. (Mihoces).
The last time I saw Charlie outside prison walls we were on the run. Charlie was on the run, not I, I just went along for the ride because he was my husband. Charlie was on parole, but he loved to drink his booze. In our state it's a violation to drink while on parole.

Gay discrimination is a major problem that affects individuals all across the country. The Defense of Marriage Act needs to be repealed. First, the Defense against Marriage Act will be explained and then why it needs to be repealed, then the effects the law has on society.
The negative side of uncleanliness at Magic Mountain develops into unhappy guests who may not ever return. If the guests do not return, there is a decline in profits. Magic Mountain is already experiencing this situation and there has been discussion about going out of business.
In a world of many political, social and moral issues, I believe that people should back the president in his attempts to secure our border. Without protection of our borders we are open to terrorist attacks. I completely disagree with Henry David Thoreau’s motto that “that government is best which governs least”(Thoreau 369). If Trump was not allowed to try to keep our country safe by protecting our borders, our nation could easily be attack and leaving people to feel unsafe. While I believe that most muslims are not terrorist, I think that it is necessary to have travel bans for some countries in order to keep the American people safe.
It’s college graduation day and the graduates have just finished their walks across the stage. The future looks bright and the stress of classes has finally come to an end for most of the students. This day is a day full of joy for most, but for those who didn’t receive scholarships or grants; this day also marks the day that reality hits. For those who were lucky enough to get student loans now comes the time when those loans need to start being paid on. Through all of the excitement, the elephant in the room still remains; how will they possibly begin to pay the tens of thousands of dollars that they owe for the education they just finished?
Sometimes I ask myself: what if I did this? What if I did that? Would it make a difference? Well, if I did nothing and kept wondering, I would never know. What person does is more important than what a person thinks because actions can affect others and accomplish goals.
It does not matter how well made a product is, if nobody knows about it, then it will not sell. In order to make this well made product sell, one must advertise its usefulness and practicality to the correct audience. This targeted advertising is a very exact science, and if a company miscalculates on the smallest part of their market research and advertisement placement, then it will not succeed in selling the product or idea. One example of a well placed and persuasive ad can be found on the fifth page of the August 4th edition of Sports Illustrated.
On September 5, 2017, Matt Harrell, passionately presented on whether or not it was ethical to use Hellfire, Brimstone, and Damnation as fear tactics to get people to behave morally. Harrell took the stance that this was unethical and I agree with him. It is unethical to threaten people with hell and damnation to try and convince them to behave morally. It is also inhumane to frighten people with hellfire and brimstone. This is not The Gospel of Jesus Christ and street corner preachers who harshly call out the sins in those passing by are not accurately representing God. No one in this universe is without sin; therefore none of us should be the first one to cast a stone at another brother or sister.
Nora and Sydney run to the bathroom giggling, skipping along. Shortly after they return our steaming, delicious smelling meals are set in front of us. We are devouring our juicy steaks, savory potatoes, tender lobster, and crunchy chicken strips when something behind the over towering brick fire place dividing the dining room from the bar makes a popping sound louder than I’ve ever heard before. I think to myself, “Was that a celebration coming from a champagne bottle? No… much louder than that. Did someone actually bring a firework into The Firebirds restaurant?” Then another pop and suddenly the whole
I look at my pale short legs thinking ‘I need to shave.’ I sigh realizing that summer isn’t close to being over and I have nothing to look forward to. I grab my phone and head towards the kitchen searching for something to eat. I see my mom preparing dinner “Hi mom”
Today’s society is run solely on technology and social media; at least it seems like it. Everything you want to know can be found on the internet; dating, cooking, college courses, essays and other things you can imagine. It is a great thing and also a bad thing. Everything should not be on the internet. However, some people can do more online than in person due to lack of transportation or sometimes disabilities. Some people work online from home, which is a great way to earn money for people with disabilities, household responsibilities or do not have transportation.
When a person’s pet gets sick or injured to the point of them dying, most often the owner will end its suffering by putting it down. Either the owner will take the matter into his/her hands and personally kill the animal, or the person will take it to the vet and have the vet put the animal to sleep. Who is to say that an animal should have the right to a peaceful, legal death but humans cannot? Why is it that a vet has the right to “murder” an animal, but a licensed doctor doesn’t have the right to do their jobs? Doctors try their best to help their patients and if the only way to help a person is by letting him/her end his or her life, then it should be the patient’s right to do so (Vermont).
