“Finally, we get to go on vacation.” I said as we got up to leave. My parents had already loaded up the car and we were ready to go. All morning while I was getting ready was the sound of suitcases being dragged around and the beeping of the car as the trunk opened and closed. Then I heard all of my other seven brothers and sisters get into the car. We of course have a huge car but even with that it’s still a little cramped. All of my brothers stunk up the car and it made the spilt milk smell ten times worse. We had an hour drive to the airport and then another 5 hours on a plane. My oldest brother, Andrew had already fallen asleep and my other 3 brothers were poking him and trying to annoy him but he was out cold. Because in total there are ten of us it's super rare that we ever get to go on vacation. But my dad just got a ton of extra vacation days so we finally decided to go on a vacation. This vacation is going to be awesome, as long as no one gets lost, sick, hurt, or complaints. Well maybe the complaining part won't happen but hey, I can always hope. A long long hour later we arrive at the airport and park the car. This is the dreaded part, trying to get everyone's things organized. My bag of course is a decent size. Andrews seems a little small but then again he wears the same outfit every day and probably won’t need much else. Then my older sister Chloe's bag comes out. It's huge! It seriously look like it was about to explode. But it's too big so she has to
Traveling always force ladies to dwell on their monthly menstrual cycle. It at times becomes very challenging and exasperating if you know that your periods are coming close to your traveling dates and you cannot alter or reschedule your travel dates. Because of lengthy hours of journey, frenzied traveling schedule and restricted time at the disposal could cause tiredness, frustration, which might cause menstrual period to come early or even befall irregular bleeding.
Many schools take the week off for students to repose which is called Spring Break. I really like spring break because it lets me take time off from school, and it lets me catch up with sports.
Like any other red-blooded American college student, you see spring break as a glimmering reminder that the darkness of midterm stress and seasonal affective disorder will soon be washed away in beachy sunlight. And lucky for you, it’s finally here! You’ll be interested to know that in my not-too-distant college years I discovered you can judge a person pretty well by their choice of spring break destination. So join me now, readers, as I do just that: judge you.
Colorado is the perfect spot for my family to go on spring break because of the climate. Colorado’s springtime is very inconsistent. One day the state will encounter a blizzard and the next day the state will be warm. I think this weather is very diverse; the climate would make my family’s spring break interesting. The varying weather would give my family a unique trip.
When in Rome! I chose to pick a study abroad program because I want to explore the world. I think it is a perfect idea to get a chance to travel to another country and earn college credits. I chose Rome because that is where I think I will be more comfortable to visit while in college. It is full of culture, fashion, great cuisines, art, and many more! It has always been on my bucket list to go to Italy. It is the perfect opportunity to visit the country especially while I am in college. I remember watching Lizzie McGuire as a child and she went to Rome and impersonated an Italian pop star, Isabella. She met this handsome man who took her to tour the city. Everyone eventually realized he was using her to ruin Isabella, but it was still a happy ending for Lizzie McGuire. I wanted that happy ending it looked like so much fun running around Rome. The expenses are outstanding for the trip, but at least I have an agenda all laid out by the program.
Sports are universal and make up a good majority of kids’ extra-curricular involvement these days. As a person who has played sports for most of my life, I can definitely say that I enjoyed being a part of travel sports teams in the offseason. Whenever a person is passionate about something, they tend to work a little harder, succeed more often and reach the goals they set for themselves; travel sports allow for this. They allow you to work on your skills and athletics outside of your regular season, but also allow you to have fun while doing it. Sports were made for two types of people: the people that enjoy sports just for the exercise, social aspect and having fun, and the people who are competitive, have a driven passion and want to continue with their sport into the future. After reading the article, “Michelle Obama: All kids should play sports, not just
What lays ahead of you is something you have never seen before. The sun rises over the deep, interconnected canyons all while giving you a clear view of the Barrancas del Cobre (copper canyon). The mountain walls give off coppery tones as you ride El Chepe. How is it that just now you decided to travel to Mexico? The whole trip has been an eye-opening experience. A vacation to Mexico was the perfect way to rewind your overwhelming life. Traveling actually started thousands of years ago and the Romans are credited for structuring modern tourism. However, nowadays traveling is usually down as a way to relax and not mostly for religious purposes. Traveling to Mexico is a fun activity that anyone can do. There are so many upsides to visiting a foreign country. Their stress levels decrease, happiness increases, and they become more creative. One gets to experience a different culture, scenery, and people when visiting this remarkable country.

Approximately 33% or a third of all families in the United States will go on a family vacation this year. Family vacations when you break it down is entirely for the parents. Parents and their children are stressed during the school year, whether it's providing for the family or homework. Family vacations may be stress reducing or enhancing depending on where you go, who you’re going with, and why you’re going.
The presents may be put away, the last light on the menorah lit, the familiar sound of the Salvation Army ringers no longer greeting us at stores, the Dōngzhì Festival and Winter Solstice a fond memory (with anticipation for the slow return of longer days), but that does not mean that the holiday season has ended! The wilderness is vast, unforgiving, and beauteous; those who visit it unprepared find thorns instead of roses, but even as tough as a trip into the wild is, the pros can be worth the cons. Many venture into camping with no wary thoughts about the dangers it brings; the wildlife, environment, weather, and location can instantaneously alter your seemingly perfect trip. Surprisingly, these problems can be avoided, but only through careful planning. Planning a camping trip revolves around: climate, location, and environment. For example, I would like to discuss three different places you can camp: Arizona, Colorado, and Alaska.
After you choose your destination the next thing you must do is reserve your airfare and hotel. This may be tough because there are many websites and travel agents that you can go through. I have found that it is cheaper and easier to go through Expedia.com. You can book your hotel and flight all together and pay one low price. I have also found that flying with Southwest Airlines is very cheap and they have many one way stops all across the country and for a cheap hotel that is very nice I recommend the Extended Stay America.
Having parents that are a lot alike would be boring. Being able to have parents with different interest is a lot of fun. Kevin and Tina have different beliefs and interests so when the family goes on family vacations or goes to do activities it’s a lot of fun because it’s something that the kids wouldn’t normally do. Normally Kevin and Tina will agree with one another but they are different in what they believe in to be important. Having two amazing parents with different personalities make the family a whole lot more interesting with how they act, react to things, what they like and what they’re into.
Life is a journey and by choosing my path, I create my destination. My journey started since the day I was born, July 16th, 1999, but it was not until March 20th, 2016 that my destination was drawn with passion. On that day, I came to America with tears dropped on my mom's face, with great pressure on my shoulder, with a strong determination to live well, to live happily. On that day, I promised myself that I will succeed to prove that if someone considers my studying abroad as wasting money and time, they were wrong. On that day, I knew that I would be the one who makes my mother proud of me and ensures a happy life for her. Studying abroad is a tough decision for my mother, my relatives and for me. Without a strong financial support, my idea of studying abroad was too hard to complete, for most of the people, but not for my mother and me. We believed in ourselves, in each other and in the goal that we have set, hoping one day I would come back to my country with great knowledge and skills that I could learn in America. Our hope was a red light of fire that led us to the destination we set, our hope was a plan that gave us the motivation to wake up in the morning and tried our best to fulfill, our hope was so strong that it magically provided me the power to truly believe that I could do it no matter how other people thought. The day I hold the flight ticket in my hand, I could not believe that my life would have a
“We need to go on a vacation since this might be our last summer together.” suggested my dad. This summer my parents and I decided to go on a vacation. We haven’t been on one since I was really little. The week we had planned to go, my sister was in need of a babysitter. My parents made the brave decision to take my twelve-year old niece, Alexis, along for the journey. These eight days showed me the importance of family.
