We all are created equal, there are certain rights given by God that you and I are not free to ignore. Therefore, the first and most basic right is the right of life. The exercise of our right to liberty and our right to the pursuit of happiness is secondary to respecting the right to life. Our pursuit of happiness must not compromise any other person's right to live. So, the right to life is not some modern anti-abortion slogan. It is the most fundamental assertion of the document upon which this nation was founded.
Abortion is murder at any stage of pregnancy, and acts against U.S. constitution. Furthermore not only does abortion harm innocent babies, but also raises the risk of medical complications for the mother.
Abortion can emotionally affect each woman differently, mothers who use an abortion as an easy exit of an unwanted pregnancy can suffer of persistent sadness, regret, anger, shame, depression, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, anxiety, thoughts of death, suicide or hopeless. Studies within the first few weeks after the abortion have found that between 40 and 60 percent of women questioned report negative reactions. Within 8 weeks after their abortions, 55% expressed guilt, 44% complained of nervous disorders, 36% had experienced sleep disturbances, 31% had regrets about their decision, and 11% had been prescribed psychotropic medicine by their family doctor.
