I went off like a bullet last week because I saw something purely bullshit. I can't contain my anger when I see something this horrible and terrible. What I saw was a white man wearing blackface. Yea, the man was just walking down the street minding their own business thinking wearing blackface is okay. I know I can't believe someone that stupidly racist still exist in 2017. So I told the guy what any great moral, ethical, fantastic, wonderful, person will do in that situation, I told them to take it off. Then they explained to me stupidly they are a burn victim. I asked them why that have anything to deal with a white men look like a black men. and explained to them that even thinking its okay makes him a racist. Then they asked me why blackface is so bad. I'm stunned because it's just racist and if you don't agree with me, then you're a member of the KKK. HOw hard is that to understand. I shouldn't explain it because it's common sense like thinking the world is flat. It's just racist and you don't' agree with that then you need to explain why it's okay. I ask that to the white man. LIke a normal republican bigot he didn't answer questions and told me if I have no idea what I'm talking about why should he take me seriously. THis man don't understand reality. He thinks when he was a fireman, he ran into a burning house to save a men. THat give him the liberty to walk down the street wearing blackface and saying is a 5 degree burn. Just because he have all the
Around the world there is so racism so going on, people who are different are so getting target by the white man. We believe that racism is completing gone but it's not. Racism is coming back slowly as the years pass us. The only thing that we can do is to keep our bodies safe from all the danger that might happen. Ta-Nehisi Coates has been talking about keeping our bodies safe protected from the danger that happening around the world. People are getting targeted for being different or not being accepted for who they are as humans.
"Hands Up, Don't Shoot", black Lives matter. This is the slogan that the black man has taken on to
Imagine your son going out to the real world he has a kid and a wife then there's a knock on the door and you look thru the peephole and the cops and their heads are down and you're confused you open the door and they tell you “Ma’am your son has died”,and you say how they say he has been gunned down by an officer and you know your son was unarmed and you're confused because your son has nevered been doing something bad. This and every day thing you see to african american some are innocent and unarmed and they get shot by police because they say they were fighting back or they were about to pull out a gun and this happens everywhere and police brutality happens every state and everywhere and it mostly happens to african american and other races.
I am sure that everyone of you have heard about aliens and UFOs. Indeed, we all have heard about the famous case of aliens and UFOs in Roswell, New Mexico. Most people might be interested in the topic of aliens, but I know that the majority of you just think of it as rumours and the existence of them are impossible. Therefore, I am standing here in front all of you to make you change your perspective. I am strongly confident that I have found the evidence of their real existence to convince all of you.
As a child, I’m sure almost all of us have had mini class field trips to the library. We go in and pick the brightest, visually appealing, eye-catching book cover and convince ourselves that the deceiving beauty we see on the outside, will certainly define the content inside of the book. We avoid picking the books that are simple with fewer pictures and have pages that are either colored on by our naughty little selves or aren’t attractive enough for our seven year old minds, and simply toss the book back onto the shelf without even bothering to read the content that it holds inside. The librarian notices and tells us the seven-word response that we as kids forget: Don’t judge a book by its cover. We carry on those seven words every library visit but we forget to use them even in real life situations as adults. Racial profiling is targeting a person based on a stereotype about their race. To convey my position in this speech, I believe Racial profiling is morally incorrect. Racial profiling sends a straight forward message to all individuals that judgment on criminal felony is based on pure skin color; it violates the fourteenth amendment; and it also leads to racially - motivated violence. For all these reasons, I stand against the act of racial profiling due to the negative effects it holds in our society.
Our country is supposed to be one about opportunity, neglecting to provide an equal chance for these children to learn would contradict the notion that America is the land of opportunity.
Seven years ago, a meritable African-American became our president. This will forever be a memorable announcement as a higher change in our history. Giving people of all shades that pipe dream they've been longing for. But almost eight years later "the Negro still is not free." The racial hardships we face as Black people are more surpassing than ever. Before it was easier to sweep these issues under the rug. As we advance and people are becoming more aware , this big pile pile under the rug isn't so easy to ignore anymore. From hearing about our Black men such as Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, and Michael Brown being shot and killed unjustly by white police in no way describes this achievement of racial equality. To deny financial services of people in "particular" neighborhoods. Or even people getting stopped because of the suspicion their color displays. America has not achieved Dr. King's dream of equality as there are many current situations which prove otherwise.
First of all, if you’ve never seen a racewalking competition, go to Youtube right now and look it up. It is incredibly funny and the participants look as though they are in dire need of the toilet. Or you could say they look like New York City commuters trying to catch the last bus out of the city. With that being said, I definitely think the U.S. will take home a medal in racewalking this summer. Many of us do it as part of our routine, everyday life already -- walking fast is in our blood. Tell us we’ll get a medal for walking quickly and we’ll put even more pep in our step. Whether we Americans want to be in the front of the line at the buffet, be the first ones to get our hands on the best Black Friday deals or navigate our way through a crowded city, we often walk with determination, and this societal instinct will translate easily to the racewalking course. Plus, America dominates at every Olympics, so it’s just natural that we win a medal in this event, too.
How can you said “it is to laugh!” when some white man is cursing negroes, don’t you remember your black too. Would it be funny if a white person comes and curses us ( Ma, Charlie and me)? I don’t think so. Its like I don’t know you anymore. What have they turned you into? I recall that when you were a young boy, you used to stand up for us in school. You always protected Charlie and me from anyone. And now you have turned into a cold-hearted person just like them. Also, you used to be proud of the race and color you were born with.
Some folks say and support “Black Lives” and others, “All Lives”. As time go on, things take a turn ‘for the worse’. The ‘turn for the worse’ is due to the mindset of many people and the mass media. With time should come justice, peace and common ground on what is happening, but what if no one is supportive or have no knowledge of what is to come? The saying of “All Lives Matter” is deleterious and ruinous to the “Black Lives Matter” movement and support and to the black community by deteriorating their beliefs, livelihood, and mentality.
Have you ever noticed how segregated your cafeteria is? Everyday students walk in and sit with their friends to enjoy lunch. Your friends are the people that are like you. Have you ever tried sitting with new people? If you did sit with them, would you talk to them?
For centuries a disease has plagued our nation just like AIDS has Africa, I bet you all are wondering what this disease is. You probably think that it can be treated with limited breakouts every few years. The virus I'm talking about is racism. Imagine living every day in fear knowing that where ever you go, everything you do is being observed and judged. Imagine walking into a store or a boutique and having someone watch every move of yours thinking that you’re going to steal something, or expose a bomb from under your clothes. Imagine being mocked and hated at school because you're "different". Imagine being left out because of your skin colour. No one enjoys being left out, but then, why do people judge? Why do people set a fire of
When you walk down the street in a big city like Los Angeles or San Francisco, I think you would immediately spot a crowd of triggered protesters shouting “He’s not my president!” waving signs like “No one is illegal”and “you are welcome here”. Piercings and dyed hair bedeck their heads and sensory orifices. Dressed in showy, heterodox clothes, their appearance screams “Notice me and what I want from the USA”! I know, don’t get me wrong , what they're fighting for is completely justifiable. After all, they are probably scared of getting deported or harassed in the streets due to their religious faith. Personally, I think that the aforementioned Social Justice Warriors are taking things a bit too far and using mostly their primal emotions instead of facts. Earlier in my life I wouldn’t have cared; but recently I have discovered something called Alternative right, or Alt-right for short. One of the values that they have is the importance of facts over feelings. This value is very important to me since I try to analyze what happens both in fiction and real life. Today I’m going to show you how this has influenced me both politically and in everyday life.
For example, using a leftover coffee can for loose nails or screws, or even washing and reusing a plastic zip-loc bag instead of throwing it in the garbage. Thrift shopping is a way of reusing someone else’s unwanted goods. As I spoke about in an earlier speech about thrifting, I included many locations and ways to thrift, also the benefits to the shopper and the donator. One place in particular was shopping at the local boys and girls club. I personally shop there, keeping my eyes open for a good deal. For example, the pair of jeans that I am wearing today was purchased from this store just a few months ago. I paid only $8.00 for this pair of Lucky Jeans and according to buckle.com, a retailer for lucky jeans the retail price is $99.00 that is a savings to me of $91.00.I am not the type to worry about name brands, but quality usually does cost more. If I can get a quality pair of jeans at a fraction on the price, I am glad to shop at the thrift store. I am thankful to the person that made the donation of the lucky jeans and they can benefit from that donation. According to the IRS webpage, IRS. Gov it explains that an individual can donate items like clothing, household furniture and furnishings, a car or boat, even taxidermy. The donations are appraised, by the donator, and recorded. At the time of filing taxes if the donation equals at least $500 for the year, the donator may take advantage of the
Don’t be racist, be PewDiePie. He is Swedish, looks American, lives in the UK, has an Italian girlfriend, and likes Mexican candy. The U.S. is no longer as racist as it used to be, as 200 years ago, you were likely a slave because of your skin color. However, today many Americans are being racist to Asians in a new way: stereotyping. Hello, I’m Dexter Chen, and today I will be discussing why you shouldn’t stereotype Asians because stereotypes aren’t true, are extremely discouraging, and because stereotyping is offensive in general. Before we get into this topic, let me explain what stereotyping is. Stereotyping is judging a group, religion, ethnicity, or even gender, although these stereotypes might not reflect on reality. This is caused by social media, the human tendency to reduce complex things to simple things, and prejudice. You might be thinking to yourself: Gee, how is stereotyping offensive? It’s just a playful way of describing someone! If you are thinking that doubtful thought, then pay attention, because I will show you why you shouldn’t stereotype anyone, especially Asians.
