Petty Officer Findley proved to be a dynamic leader. As Naval Radio Transmitter Facility (NRTF) Awase Leading Petty Officer, his leadership led to 15 Awase Watch Supervisor qualifications, five Maintenance, Material and Management (3M) 301 qualifications and three Sailor of the Quarter (SOQ) selections. Additionally, he conducted 24 Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) training sessions leading to zero reportable hits during the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Naval Information Warfare EKMS inspection.
- As the Detachment 3M Assistant, he implemented six force revisions, coordinated 45 spot checks and provided training for six work center supervisors and 30 technicians. Additionally, he submitted seven feedback reports and was instrumental in the accurate completion of 688 maintenance checks with a 97 percent accomplishment rate. His efforts led to the detachment receiving the highest grade of all U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Far East (NCTS FE) detachment's during FY 2015 Type Commander 3M Train and Assist Visit.

Additionally, he led a team of Tactical Support Communications (TSCOMM) personnel in troubleshooting a faulty antenna, trained four Sailors on the use of a through-line watt meter for troubleshooting, leading to the discovery of a cracked antenna mount and the subsequent successful reutilization of the broken mount. His efforts were critical to the 96 percent communications rate to deployed Commander, SEVENTH Fleet (C7F) and Commander, Submarine Group Seven (CSG7)
Performed duties of an SGL assigned to the Basic Leader Course (BLC) for the Fires Center of Excellence (FCOE). Served as the subject matter expert for all Course Management Plan (CMP) and Programs of Instruction (POI,) training and maintaining instructor certification. Responsible for the wellbeing, safety, professional development, and training of 16 Soldiers on a 22-day recurring cycle, performing nine cycles a year. -Exemplary Supervisor. Petty Officer Brickhouse led, trained, and qualified eight personnel in daily watch routine requirements. He maintained custody of 18 Electronic Key Management System line items during watch to watch turnover with zero discrepancies. Additionally, he earned the Enlisted Information Dominance Warfare Specialist designation and conducted training for three Sailors in Maintenance, Material, and Management (3M).
She assisted with reimaging 81 PCs to resolve security client applications issues, and another 30 PCs to complete clean up actions due to an electronic spillage occurrence. Her attention to detail conducting several walkthroughs of 8 LNSC spaces and organizing 13 DIVO records lead to a well-earned passing grade for the N8’s Department In The Spotlight (DITS) inspection. As N8 department Career Counselor, she was directly responsible for 6 career development boards resulting in 2 Sailors advancing in rank to Petty Officer Third Class.
Petty officer Gray has distinguished himself in the performance of his duities and is most deserving of his first Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for actions during the period from July 2013 to 2015, while assigned to U.S. Naval Construction Battalion One as an Equipment Operator, and Dispatcher. Petty Officer Gray quickly earned the respect and admiration of both his superior and subordinates with his eargerness to qualify on all required licensing for command tasking ahead of schedule in order to assume greater responsibilitys which greatly benefitted and supported command mission. - As Awase Watch Supervisor, she demonstrated her exceptional troubleshooting skills during multiple major system casualties. She dedicated over 160 hours troubleshooting the Transmitter Loading Impedance Network (TLZN), FRT-95B Transmission Line, Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs), Timing Frequency Distribution System (AN/BYQ-9), TCC Uninterruptible Power Supply and the Transmitter and AMS Control Consoles, greatly contributing to the restoral of the low frequency submarine broadcast and the correction of nine casualty reports. She administered over 200 hours training detachment personnel in watchstanding, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures, directly resulting in the qualification of 21 Awase Watch Supervisors.
As the Command Mustering Petty officer, YN2 Smith receives, verifies and generates all of HQ’s muster reports and report them to the Executive Officer. SFC Newell absorbed a tremendous workload upon assuming his duties as the 2nd Modular Training Battalion (MTB) Readiness NCO. His undertaking of duties that had been handled by Course Managers prior to his arrival allowed them to focus more on instructing their respective courses. He completed My Unit Pay training to take over all unit payroll transactions to alleviate the burden on 235th Regiment after losing key personnel. SFC Newell worked tirelessly in his personal time to prepare the unit for inspections and visitors.
Corporal Cencich has my utmost support and highest recommendation for selection as Division non- commissioned officer of the quarter. Through this period, Corporal Cencich has executed his duties superbly. During Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 3-15, Corporal Cencich served as the fire support team chief, Kilo Company, 3d Battalion 8th Marines. While serving as the team chief, he conducted 500 calls for fire resulting in the safe and accurate firing of over 5,000 artillery rounds. -Acting as the Communications Embark Chief for PALMFEX, Lance Corporal Martin lead from the front, and accounted for both cryptographic and non-cryptographic equipment totaling $634,291 worth of communication assets. Lance Corporal Martin drafted and finalized all Standard Form 153’s COMSEC material reports, and hand receipts for all communications equipment used in PALMFEX. He also properly distributed the equipment to the elements of PALMFEX that required additional communication which is crucial in communication security (COMSEC) accountability.

Petty Officer Le is a self-starter who continues to provide positive and immediate impact to U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station (NCTS), Far East and our supported commands throughout the Far East. From the day of her arrival at NCTS Far East, she has demonstrated initiative being the first Sailor in her work section to attack and complete the newly developed Nortel MSL-100 telephone switch watchstander, job qualification requirement (JQR) and is currently training three senior Sailors across the region in there undertaking of this same JQR.
