As a student with parents whom have low income a $3,000 scholarship would be very helpful. This would definitely help relieve the pressure of loans and things to pay for, for school, on my parents, my two older sisters and I. The way this money would got to paying for class books and units. The reason it would relieve the pressure on the five of us is because I know they would help me with money as I try to go through college. Specially as my two older sisters have dropped out of college do to lack of money, they push me to not get discouraged by it and to keep getting educated. The importance of a good education was instilled in me from an early age. When I did not have the means to further my education I took it upon myself to find a solution. Giving up on my goals of higher learning was not an option. So, I made the decision to enlist in the United States Air Force. While serving active duty, I refused to let my ambitions falter.
