Working in a competitive and friendly environment has always motivated me to take up new challenges and as a result I have decided to rush Delta Sigma Pi, a professional fraternity that focuses also on social connections. When I set a goal for myself or the organizations that I am involved in, I ensure we reach that goal. I never give up, persevering through obstacles in my way. I have a strong drive to succeed. Lastly, one thing I make sure I incorporate into my daily life is community service. I love giving back and helping those in different communities. Community service is something I do in my spare time. Showing people in the world that there is someone out there that cares about them and their well-being warms my heart. 4. What qualities or unique characteristics do you possess that would allow you to contribute to the UCF community?
I will be an asset to the sorority as I am an asset to this world. I strive to motivate, educate and inspire through my volunteer work and leadership. My strong work ethic helps me balance my school work with my extracurricular activities, including Strange Fruit Dance Company, Love United Gospel Choir, Women’s Media Group, and Women’s Coordinating Council. I also find it important to give back with the University of
For scholarship I Also I get good grades and try to be good role model. For example, I took and passed my Global Regents as a Freshmen because I showed readiness by consistently participating and showing good work ethics. Even though I wasn’t in the honors class I felt ready to face the challenge as a Freshmen. What made me want to take to take this exam was to prove it doesn’t matter if you’re in the honors class or not just work hard. I’ve talked to the current and the upcoming freshmen about negative and positive things I went through as freshmen so they don’t make the same mistakes I did or so that they can do the same positive things I did. For leadership, I participate in class and encourage my peers to do the same. I help make sure my peers comprehend what we have learned. In sports, I push my teammates to get better but have fun at the same time. I start practices when my coach is running late and when my coach is out talking to someone I continue the practice. For service, I and my Mosque went out on August 17, 2017, and collect cans of food and a collection for $350 and sent it to Sierra Leone because of the flood /mudslide and for the people who lost their homes and family. We also ran a food drive to give back to the community and helped the homeless. For character, I show all the five words Integrity, Leadership, Courage, Curiosity, Concern and also Brother’s
I would describe my personality as diligent, fun loving, and adaptive. I enjoy spending time with my friends and my sorority, yet I have taken on a position within that sorority that requires me to be on top of nearly all details taking place. I enjoy working hard to make sure everyone else has a smooth-running sorority experience. I like to go with the flow and enjoy like as it comes!
I have always been respectful towards my peers and my elders, and have never caused any issues inside or outside of school. Also, I am very responsible, always completing my work in a timely manner and doing what I am told. I am dependable and honest. When someone asks me to do something, I make sure I get it done. Honesty is important to me.
who is on time daily and always kind and respectful. She has the ability to handle multiple deadlines at once and multi-task. These are all qualities that will be useful on your campus.
An application, transcript, or essay cannot fully capture who I am on the inside. There are a plethora of characteristics that go unseen by people without getting to know me personally. Besides a student who is ambitious, grade conscientious, and a quick learner, I also help out anywhere I can outside of school.
Hey everyone, it's Kate! I am currently a Senior at what I call the best University while also having the privilege of a perfect place to call home, Kappa Delta. I serve as the 2016-2017 Vice President of Membership which has helped me grow in more ways than I thought imaginable. The ladies of Kappa Delta have made my college experience all that I ever could have dreamed of and more. When I'm not roped up in school or exec I really enjoy working out or tanning and then coming home to binge watch Netflix with endless amounts of popcorn. Every memory made my last 3 years has been with the ladies of Kappa Delta and I am so excited for the memories to come. As always, Go noles!
Energised, personable and rugby-mad. These are three words that describe the person you are after, and funnily enough also describe me. I am a high-spirited and social person who does not shy away in any situation when it comes to meeting and greeting, pitching a product, service or club or for market research. All of those things I have done either in a volunteer or paid capacity and I am always hungry for more. So, if you are after an individual who can instantly build great rapport with the public and ensuring key messages are effectively communicated I am that person for you.
The three essential qualities I possess that would enable me to contribute to the university community are: leadership, oral communication and prioritization/organizational skills. A leader takes the time to examine the strengths and weaknesses of others and applies those qualities/skills to benefit the team as a whole. As Captain of the Leesburg High School Varsity Football and Soccer Teams, I had the opportunity to effectively utilize the strengths of others and encourage them to build on their weaknesses through various team building exercises. The second quality that will enable me to contribute to the university is oral communication. Through public speaking courses I have learned the value of expressing and communicating ideas through:

With so many ways to describe who I am, I think I will start off with the basics. I am a college student that attends Drake University. I would identify myself as hard-working, responsible, and persistent. At the beginning of the term, I identified myself as how I felt in the moment with answers such as tired, hungry, and bored. Yes, those were traits I identified myself within the moment, but now I try to look far and beyond the present. I want to identify myself as someone who strives to achieve everything she ever wanted, including graduating from college, with honors and getting involved within the college community. I want to be able to identify with things that have meaning and substance that I have always strived for including being determined and self-reliant.
