What we gained from this research was not a thorough understanding of the legislative measures that governments are taking to provide water to the citizens within their borders. Rather, we learned the general lesson that governments, regardless of their resources or political structure, are not the most reliable or capable entities to provide for human beings

There is a water crisis which faces many parts of the world and it is a threat to survival of human beings since humans are primarily dependent on water. Shortage in drinking water is beginning to show its effects in first world countries, but is a current major problem facing lesser developed countries which have not taken drastic steps to harvest water and purify it to make it safe for human consumption. In developed countries the population growth has strained available water resources and stretched the ability of governments and private firms to provide safe drinking water to the vast majority of the population. Rigat Essag Ghirmay had disappeared in 2013, but this week her skull was found in a Toronto field. Rigat Essag Ghirmay was 28-years-old when she had disappeared. Her human remains were found near a West Toronto park trail, just a few steps away from where her torso was found in 2013. On May 24, 2013, the police had found her torso stuffed in a duffel bag, just a few minute walk from where her skull and bones were found on Wednesday. On Jan.7, Russell High School hosted Basketballs for Kawabunga , the fundraiser helped raise money for children with autism and fund after school activities. This year, Kawabunga raised $668 and furthermore, the fundraiser included 2 basketball games, one with alumni students from each school and one for the senior boys basketball. These alumni included Former RHS students included Jon Ricard, Brooke Morningstar and Beth Hayton, all three were heavily involved in school sports.

Throughout Canada, people live lavishly, surrounded by all the human necessities needed to survive, and all the materialistic items that one could ever want, guaranteed a decent education and life. While they live their lives without ever encountering the desperate need for clean water, their First Nations neighbours live in stark, sad conditions, likened to those of a 3rd world country. If a community is lucky enough to have running water, then it is probably to dirty to drink. Most reserves are under a drinking water advisory, and some have even been boiling their water for over 20 years, such as the Neskantaga reserve. The government doesn’t do anything for the fatally thirsty people in a country that they call fair, equal and developed. They have devoted time and money to show that they are trying to staunch a crisis that shouldn’t be happening, but First Nations communities still have dirty, undrinkable water.

Samaijai has been at his grandmother's (Ms. Black) home for two days. Lashondra (mother) stated the grandmother is handling him; reason unknown. It was also stated that Samaijai was not returning to the mother's home. Samaijai supposed to be on ADHD medication, or some type of meds. Ms. Black (grandmother) stated two days ago, and on 1-28-16, that she took Samaijai off of his medication. She stated he acts up while on his meds. It was unknown if the grandmother consulted with a doctor to take him off. Samaijai shows aggressive and violent behaviors at school. On January 10 2010 Amberley Snyder was travelling to Denver Stock show and rodeo in Wyoming (MyStory). While Snyder was on the highway she glanced down at her map witch caused her to go into the other lain (MyStory). When Snyder looked back up and over corrected her truck causing it to go off the road (MyStory). When the truck hit the road side it hit a fence post witch caused the truck to roll (MyStory). Amberley was evicted from the truck through the window due to not wearing a seat belt caused from a stomach ache (mystory). The impact of the truck hitting the fence post left Amberley with a broken neck and paralyzed from the waist down (marketplace). During the crash Amberley was fully conscious and stayed so, even during the rescue (maeketplace).

This campaign will start in July of 2017 and will go throughout August of 2020. This project will be based out of southern Ontario. The project will try to make water extraction legal from main lakes and big bodies of water such as the Great lakes etc…. But illegal or minimized from smaller lakes. 360,000 litres of water each day is taken from the Innisfil Watershed in Lake simcoe and it is unacceptable. (Lake Simcoe Message Board, 2016) The City of Innisfil Town management/planners are making plans to bring it down to 260,000 liters a day due to high petition rate in the town, still the number is to high. Water levels are getting to low for animal safety, the space for natural habitats and living creatures is decreasing with our water levels. Something needs to be done and The water saving economist group will do everything they can to help the cause. The bill we are proposing will make water extraction legal from all bodies of water in Canada with an area of 500 km², an up to 1,000,000 litres of water taken from each body of water maximum. All other water under 500 km² may only be extracted up to 100,000 litres of water a day. These are fair rates to make wildlife and citizens happy as well as the government of Canada's “environmental protection group”. The water saving economist group will then take our bill with all of the petition signatures to the Minister of the environment, from there he will discuss the ideas at cabinet meetings where they will decide if it is a good idea. Next the first and second reading will happen where MP’s will think about our bill and discuss more. Hopefully next the committee discussion and third reading will go well and gets minimal or no suggested changes to it.
