The Industrial Revolution was marked as the biggest shift from an agrarian, handcrafted economy, to an economy dominated by machines. The Industrial Revolution began during the 1700s in Great Britain when King George III was in power. The Industrial Revolution had many positive effects such as the invention of the railroad. It also had many negative effects like how many got sick and died because of the working conditions. Out of all the positive and the negative effects the lasting effects were major. One of the most major lasting effects was the environmental laws that were put in place to stop all of the pollution and trash in the sewage.

England's previous success from the Agricultural Revolution gave leeway to the Industrial Revolution of the seventeenth and eighteenth hundreds. Previous landowners and investors of the Agricultural Revolution were able to start or participate Corporations and Businesses to seek great profit. New machinery and technological innovations were frequent due to the demand for faster, more efficient technology. Working class families, who were arguably the sole reason for the grand success of the Industrial Revolution, moved from their farms into crowded and dirty urban towns to work long hours in harsh factories for little pay in hopes of one day living a decent life, while the middle class gained many luxuries and lived lavish lifestyles

There were a lot of great things that happened in the Industrial Revolution, and a lot of bad things too. Tons of immigrants came over from Europe and Asia for labor jobs. The production of steel, sewing machines, the telephone, and the light bulb were made during this time. People had to make these supplies fast because there was a demand for it all. Children, younger than 10 started to work for more than 12 hours a day and got paid less than their parents. They worked in unsafe conditions, also may have lose limbs, and their life. This was the beginning of the Industrial Age.

Due to advancement in technology, the Industrial Revolution started in Great Britain at 1750 ultimately spread to Europe and the rest of the world. The wealth, population, technology, education, and resources of Great Britain. Although industrialization expanded the population and increased income in Great Britain, the revolution additionally created accidents and dreadful working conditions. Although the Industrial Revolution seemed like a good thing, there was some bad things going on the get it where it was at.

The Industrial Revolution began in England in the late 1700’s. The Industrial Revolution was a time of new inventions, products, and methods of work. The results of the Industrial Revolution led to many short and long-term positive and negative effects. These results have been assessed from many viewpoints such as the factory workers, the factory owners, the government, and other people who observed the conditions in industrial cities.

The Industrial Revolution was a movement that spanned from 1750 to 1830 it changed the lifestyle of everyone in Great Britain for better and worse. Factories popped up all over towns, bringing with it pollution and jobs for all. Populations skyrocketed in small towns turning them into crowded cities. More people took jobs from factories, earning more money, and finally being able to make a living. However, with more people moving to factories, an abundance of people left the farm life. In my opinion, the Industrial Revolution was both good for us as well as bad. It helped us move forward in machinery, even so the conditions and ways of life were horrible.

As Stephen Gardiner once said, “The industrial revolution was another one of those extraordinary jumps forward in the story of civilization.” The Industrial Revolution was in fact an extraordinary jump in the development of the U.S. It created a foundation for what the U.S is today socially, economically, and politically. The Industrial Revolution played a major role in the industrialization and modernization and still has effects to this day. These effects lead to more trade, better transportation, and modernization. It also had had many negative effects on America and England as well. These effects mainly focus on the social side of the Industrial Revolution. These effects include child labor, unfair wage, poor living conditions and poverty. When both the positive and negative effects are put together as a whole, the positive effects outweigh the negative. Mainly because they had a bigger effect on America and the world as a whole, and still affect us today. Because of the Industrial Revolution wages are more fair, living conditions are better, Manufacturing has drastically improved and children are no longer allowed to work in factories.

The industrial revolution was a transition of new manufacturing processes in the period starting at about 1760 - 1840 . During this current period the U.S population doubled and more than 14 million immigrants came to the U.S. Some positives of this time was the industry was able to efficiently produce more good’s with new machines and process. These new machines meant they needed less people to work so i caused people to lose there jobs . (negative)

Although there are many different “revolutions” that occurred in the world, the industrial revolution is the MOST revolutionary of all. In 1750 the Industrial Revolution began in Europe, Britain to be specific.

Do you ever stop and think the favorable and opposing impacts of the Industrial revolution? The industrial revolution was the rapid development of production that began in Britain in the late 1700’s. The Industrial Revolution an important event that many machines were built. Like all events there are positive and negative outcomes.Sadly there were more negative than positive outcomes.

The Industrial Revolution had many positive and negative impacts on society. The positive include cheaper clothes, more job opportunities, and improvement in transportation. And the negative would include exploitation of women and children, workers work long hours and environmental damages. These are just a few that I believe had an impact on the Industrial Revolution.

The Industrial Revolution, was a period of sudden and effective changes that lasted from 1780-1914. (Van Tol, Ottery, & Keith, 2012). Through the course of time, there were many advances in technology, this took lives from being agricultural to industrial. Machines were being used in every sector of the industries. This brought down the prices of goods, making them affordable by everyone and led to significant effects, many positive but also negative ones. It mainly resulted in the improvement of lives, but, it also had considerable negative effects such as child labour, pollution of the environment, countryside being replaced by cities, buildings and factories, crowding and spread of diseases due to overpopulation.
