According to Oxford Dictionaries, the word government means “the governing body of a nation, state, or community”. There are also several types of government such as a republic, democracy, dictatorship, and many more. Depending on the type of government, they have control over everyone and everything. Unfortunately, some leaders take advantage of their power which leads the government to have a negative reputation.
To begin with, in the book Night by Elie Wiesel, Adolf Hitler was the leader. Hitler was an example of a horrible leader. He wanted to wash out the entire Jewish population because he saw them as inferior compared to everyone else. He sent them to concentration camps that had horrible living conditions and had horrific things
Adolf Hitler, most widely known as the orchestrator of the Holocaust during World War II committed genocide across the nation, but his reasons for this mass murdering come down to one point; jealousy. As a young man Hitler had a yearning to succeed at anything he set his mind on, and being rejected by art academy’s and living as a homeless man for a part of his life began his envy for others who had succeeded, unlike himself. While Hitler was volunteering for the German army in World War I, he was temporarily blinded due to a gas attack and during this period he claimed to have received his calling, “He was to liberate Germany and make it free from what he saw as the ever-present source of decay within German racial purity; the Jew” (Dufner 15). From his point of view Jews were all he could see, and it disgusted him, so in order for him to fulfill what he believed he was meant to do, he must rid of Jews across Germany. The novel Night by Elie Wiesel and Adolf Hitler are both complex and unimaginable, but they both express belief and their own knowledge of the same situation but from different point of views. Adolf Hitler, urged by his self-hatred began his own plan for the extermination of Jews and even as far as world domination.
Hitler, a German, viewed Jews as his enemies because he believed that the Jews were the cause of the first World War, which killed over 100,000 Germans. From the time period of 1933-1945, the Jewish community experienced massive genocide from the attack of the Nazis that were in favor of Hitler. In the novel Night by Elie Wiesel, Elie’s experience in Auschwitz changes his mindset because the German culture influences him to question his belief of the Jewish religion through torturous beatings creating mental scars.
Surprise. Terror. Sabotage. Assassination. These are the words used to describe the war of the future by Adolf Hitler, Chancellor of Germany and murderer of more than 5.93 million Jews. Eliezer “Elie” Wiesel, author of Night, was one of the Jews who were lucky enough to survive the Holocaust. Wiesel was deported from his hometown of Sighet, Transylvania to Auchwitz in 1940 at the age of 15. Through the course of his captivity as number A-7713, Wiesel struggled to maintain his humanity and caring nature while surrounded by starving Jews who were constantly being reduced to nothing more than beasts, going so far as to kill their own family for a scrap of bread. The Nazis dehumanized the Jews through oppression and fear tactics, which gave Hitler his greatest reward over the course of the Second World War: seeing every last Jew dead or suffering and inflicting terror on those who dared to oppose the Third Reich.
Hitler’s passionate hate for Jewish people led to the darkest time in history, the Holocaust. Millions of innocent people become victims at the hands of Hitler, Ellie Wiesel, was one of the many. Wiesel, a famous Holocaust survival, wrote about his experience as a prisoner in Auschwitz. He endeared several years of physical and mental torment. In his time as a prisoner he questioned his faith in God exclaiming, “ I’ve got more faith in Hitler than in anyone else. He’s the only one who’s kept his promises” (Wiesel 77). As Germany’s leader, Hitler took it upon himself to attack the Jewish population, making him infamously unforgettable. Adolf Hitler was Germany’s worst leader because he placed millions of people in inhumane situations,
A government is a system by which a country, nation, or group of people are joined together under the same sets of laws and by the same person/people. The first form of government referred to as sovereignty was first created back when ancient civilizations realized that they were more powerful in groups led by a person (or many people) with more power. There have been many different types of governments in both ancient and modern civilizations. Among these many types are democracy, monarchy, dictatorship, theocracy, oligarchy, and anarchy. In a democracy the citizens have a say in everything and elect a leader to rule them (such as in Ancient Greece and our U.S government today). Monarchy is run by a king, queen, emperor, or empress and once

Government is the political direction and control exercised over the actions of the members, citizens, and inhabitants of communities, societies, and states. While documents have been written to help the leaders of our country, there is constant debate over what changes need to be made. Some believe that the country is falling apart while others think minor adjustments need to be made. The separation of church and state is also a topic of debate. The question of what needs to be changed and where religion falls in all of this are always questions on the table, but what I know for certain is that the government always has room for growth.
What is Government? Well, if you asked many people around some would simply say people who control the city, state, or country. When others would say a system where people control certain issues, policies, and economic problems. Government is the institutions which is the congress, president, the courts, and federal administrative agencies which they make up public policies for society. There are many ways Government works, but it depends how they use it. The real question is what does the government does for the people in society.
What exactly is a government? For an immensely long time, different types of government were used to build a better country in regards to defense and economics.
In “Night” the character Elie Wiesel had to fight to survive during this major event the “Holocaust”. During his hard times he had to witness people doing terrible things. Such as German soldiers throwing up babies and shooting them as target practice, also turning a huge Jewish population into nothing by gathering Jews up and placing them in gas chambers, another reason is by putting them in huge dug up pits and burning them alive. (Wiesel 25) German soldiers would do terrible things to these Jews like putting them in small cattle cars and taking them from camp to camp without any food. (Wiesel 23) The Germans showed the Jews how powerful they were so they got rid of the population because if they did all these horrible things like that then why can’t we do bad this to people in a different state of matter. In “Night” Elie Wiesel was trapped in a
The Holocaust is a major part in this world's history. Millions of Jewish lives were taken and those that weren't taken were left with many mental and physical scars. Elie Wiesel, the author of Night, was a victim of the Holocaust. In Night, Elie Wiesel tells his story of his one year experience in the Holocaust. From the moment, Elie entered Auschwitz, a concentration camp, he witnessed infants being used as target practice and people being tossed into flames. Elie lost his entire family during the Holocaust. His father's last breath used to plead his name. He had to endure all of that pain plus more. Many horrific stories are told of this tragedy and Adolf Hitler, The S.S officers, and Nazi soldiers were major parties responsible for this catastrophe. Adolf Hitler is responsible because he created the "Final Solution", The S.S officers carried out the mass extermination for the Final Solution, and the Nazi Soldiers gathered victims without questions.
The Jewish Holocaust was a traumatic event that took place from the early 1930s to the mid 1940s. During the Holocaust, the Germans believed that they had racial authority among other civilians. Under the rule of Adolf Hitler, the Nazis targeted Jews and other groups due to their perceived "racial inferiority". For instance, they persecuted Jews, Gypsies, Elderly, Mentally Disabled, and Homosexuals (etc.) because they believed that they did not portray the behavior of the so-called “social norms”. They were sent to concentration camps and killing camps, to be starved or even beaten to death. This was the cause of death of approximately 6,000,000 Jews. The actions that the Germans took against these innocent people were inhuman. The book, Night, was written by Elie Wiesel, a survivor of the Jewish Holocaust. At the time, Elie was just a fifteen year old boy, living in a small town with his family. He aspired to have great knowledge of his Jewish religion. However, by the year 1944, he was taken from his home and separated from his mother and three sisters to be deported to several camps, along with his father. Throughout his journey, his admiration for his religion severely weakened, and he began to question if there really was a God looking after him. He witnessed the burning alive of “imperfect” men, women and children, hangings of those who disobeyed orders, and the death of his poor father. Himself, he suffered through consciously extracting his teeth with rusted
The words “power,” “rules,” “control,” will probably come up when thinking about government. But, what is government for? Can a society live without any type of government? The government is very important, and it is difficult to keep a society in order without rules. The government is responsible for setting rules and to enforce those rules to equally protect individual rights; to accomplish this, government should be appropriate for the society, be respected by its rulers, and function only as represent for the citizens.
A government is a formal body invested with the authority to make decisions in a given political system. In this case the governance is a process, which includes all the actors involved in influencing the decision-making proceSS.
