This job was specially requested by the clients to reconcile their unreconciled items. I also get to apply my knowledge in AIS when doing a detailed flowchart for IWK’s Treasury Policies.
Audit work also involves outdoor work such as asset sighting, cash count and stock take. I did asset sighting and cash count for Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Sdn Bhd where my senior and I went to see their Sewerage Treatment Plant and Refurbished Assets to ensure the asset’s existence, count the cash collections and compared both sightings with their listings or report. For stock taking, I was in charge of counting stocks for Farmasi UKM Kesihatan, Pine 38 Restaurant under Bagong Dagang Sdn Bhd and I-Shoppe Technology Park Malaysia to prepare for their closing stocks.
3.2 Accounting Work Done
Apart from doing audit work, I was also assigned to do an accounting job for construction companies, Ramstar (M) Sdn Bhd and Rahajaya Sdn Bhd in which both are related companies for their 2011 and 2012 accounts. In this job, I was able to experience the life of an accountant for 2 months keying in all their invoices, suppliers invoices, payment vouchers, bank transactions, and general journals for depreciation, accruals, interests and others. Since the companies are construction companies, I also learnt about Wang Jaminan Pertahanan (WJP), MOF Advance Recoupment, Sub-contractors, Claims, work in progress and their computations. Other than that, I also did

Then I said that, even para-professionals need a signed paper for the services they do for the students and I meant if you are the student one to one professional. Also, I said that I don’t like when teachers treat para-professionals like third class workers. I told them that by the States we are no longer call para-professional, that our title has changed to Assistant teacher, because we have college credits. Furthermore, I told them that my friend Maria told me if I am a teacher aid that made me very upset. How IEP students become ELLs, Jennifer said that a language proficiency team needs to be put together: SCS, Teacher and special education teacher, ESL teacher, Parents, and Principal or Assistant Principal if they need them. Prior to my career at State Farm I worked at Jackson Hewitt P & M Accounting as a Tax Consultant, developing my customer service skills both in person and over the phone. I reviewed and prepared financial records, such as prior tax return forms, legal documents, income statements, and documentation of expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare returns. At Remx Specialty Staffing, as an Accounting Assistant I prepared accounts payable, accountings receivable, spreadsheets, sales and
Mead & Hampson (1996) developed a study involving the divided visual field paradigm and a phonological rhyme/non-rhyme task to test the speed and accurateness of either side of the brain. This study was used to investigate functional asymmetry between the left and right hemispheres in phonological processing. The research was taken out equally on 15 male and 15 females London Metropolitan University students ranging from ages 18 – 35 years old. They were all specifically chosen to be right–handed and had English as their first language thus providing a fair experiment to see whether our left hemisphere (left side of the brain) or the right hemisphere is faster and more accurate. In conclusion using the mean and standard
If Stephanie does decide to remain in a relationship with Geoff, she should set relationship boundaries. The relationship should be strictly professional during Geoff’s supervised practicum. I do not think it is possible for Stephanie to remain Geoff's supervisor at this point. Her judgment about Geoff might be affected; she may be willing to give him better grades or ignore bad behavior. It will be wise for Geoff to request for a new supervisor.
Drug crises have regularly taken center stage in American politics and crime control policies beginning with the heroin epidemic of the 1960’s. The main doctrine in the United States drug policy has been “legalism” since the 1980’s. Penalties toward criminals have emphasized the drug policies and deterrence over prevention and treatment as control mechanisms. This in turn causes a pop-up effect, meaning new problems are more likely to arise elsewhere. For example, resources have shifted from the treatment of users who are susceptible for HIV transmission through high-risk sexual activity, to criminal punishments for low-level crack users. The deterrence strategies have not been successful in reducing drug use from the decades of legalistic
In lab 10.1 we took a look at practicing a specific task in two different ways/ schedules. The two different types of practing schedules are blocked practice and Random practice. In Blocked practice the learner typically repeats a single task before moving on to the next task. However, in Random practice the learner will never repeat or practice the same task more than twice in a row. During this lab we will see which one is more effective and if it matches what we’re expecting.
Graduation training programmes let graduates have a look at several factors of what the position consists of as well as getting information for an insight on how the form is like. The time period to complete the scheme takes up to a year but could drag on. An advantage of this is that they would have the chance to enhance, as training would be effective and would be provided to them. A disadvantage is that business might train in one way but other businesses may use different ways in which it would be different to what the business does.
My future goals include attending law school to become a corporate lawyer and eventually running for public office in my hometown and the United States Senate. My St. John’s education has prepared me for my future goals by really encouraging me to love education and never give up on what my dreams even if the road seems rough. Coming to St. John’s really helped me understand why having an education is so important in our world today. An education is a tool that can never be taken from you and every day I wake up for class, I never take this opportunity for granted. I love learning new things and applying these things to real life experiences. For example, last spring in my Civil Procedure law class, I learned much about the process of a case
One could say that the author Geoffrey Chaucer’s writing is very opinionated. His pieces seem to be directly correlated with how he perceives the church in medieval times. Characters affiliated with the church are portrayed as atrocious people due to their corrupt actions. Chaucer uses his characters to point out all of the flaws found in the members of the clergy and exploits them for who they truly are in his time period. Chaucer conveys his thoughts of the greedy, hypocritical church through the prologue to The Canterbury Tales along with The Pardoner's Tale.
