They then reach Nizam before he can pierce the Sandglass with the Dagger, but he knocks Tamina and Dastan over the edge. Dastan grabs hold of Tamina, but after admitting she loves him and asking Dastan to stop Nizam, (saying it's been his destiny all along), Tamina lets go, plummeting to her death. Dastan then pulls himself up just as Nizam stabs the Sandglass with the Dagger. Dastan grabs hold and opens the Dagger, rather than activating it. This causes Dastan to go back to when he first obtained the Dagger. Dastan stops the siege of Alamut, revealing Nizam's treachery; Nizam attacks Dastan, but is killed by Tus. After apologizing for the ransacking of her city, Tus suggests that perhaps Tamina should become Dastan's wife as a sign of good will since he was the "conqueror and savior of her city" as Tus described him. Prince Dastan returns the Dagger of Time to Tamina, which changes her view of him. Weiss screeches out a warning, I am crouching on the edge of the brook, I whip around only to see three soldiers from the Laline Kingdom holding Jamy by the neck, a dagger to her throat, each breath cutting a little more into her skin. I growl at them and slide my blades out, I throw one, it sinks into the throat of the one strangling Jamy. She sinks to the ground stunned, I lunge at another, steel against steel rings out and sparks fly. I sink my knife easily past their soft amour into his lungs, I twist it to finish the deed.
During the early 1800’s in San Antonio, over 6000 Mexicans made their way to the Alamo to fight a group of Texans approximately 187 strong. Led by Colonel William B. Travis the men of the Alamo defended their position for 10 days until they inevitably fell. There were a bevy of factors that led to the United States to declare war on Mexico. For example, the language barrier was a contributing factor as was the difference in religions. Leaving her room she was about to enter Rin’s room when she heard a tiny whimper and a shuffling in the bathroom down the hallway. Saskia bolted for the bathroom, the hallway never felt so long to her before. As she was about to enter the bathroom a man, a strong, tall, and very well built man ran out of the bathroom running toward the window at the end of the hall. Saskia griped her knife and lunged at him, but apparently missed because he succeeded in jumping out the window with a practically a perfect landing and ran. Too concerned for her sister’s wellbeing Saskia ignored the broken window and the man and whipped into the bathroom to find her sister lying on the bathroom floor looking just like what her mother did that night, eyes staring at the ceiling as if all the life had been drained out. Kneeling down next to her sister Saskia started to sob profusely. She couldn’t stop. Pulling Rin up into her arms, she thought. Her only sister, her only family left is now gone. She continued sobbing, then she stopped, it was unmistakable. Rin’s body was smothered in the scent of the man that killed their parents, but why would that murderer have come back? Was he trying to finish off something that he started, if so why didn’t he kill me? Looking at her knife she noticed it had blood on it, apparently she did manage in taking a
