Process Essay - How to Wash and Polish a Car
You should only wash your car with 100% Cotton towels (white only) that are made in the U.S.A. Only these towels will not scratch or leave swirl marks on your paint. The absorber is made from Surgical Silicone and will not leave swirl marks on your car. However, the Absorber will not absorb dirt or particles like the towels. Therefore, you have to pay special close attention not to pick up any dirt with it. You could drag the particles along and swirl/scratch your car up some.

Before priming, the vehicle needs to be thoroughly washed and then it is ready for primer to cover the whole vehicle. The primer needs to be in multiple layers also. Apply the polish onto the sponge, slightly layering the colors over one another t create a soft blend. Dab the sponge onto your nail and repeat fro all nails. This will probably look muddy and unpolished at first, so you need several thin layers. Don't try to load on color to make it faster because it will just dry unevenly and look bad. The most important thing to remember is several thin coats and reapply polish on the sponge whenever it seems dry. For this look, I used 4 coats to get to all opacity.

Spray on the solution as directed by the instructions, and see if the dirt and dust is removed. Use a little more spray in bad areas to help get the wheels completely clean. Try and get all road grime and grease off of the wheels. Use a soft brush to clean cracks and crevices on the wheels, but don't scrub too hard. If you have alloy wheels, make sure that the cleaner is safe for the clear coat that may be on it.
on its 9 mile journey along the assembly line. The door is then attached by a very precise machine; this process is called “setting the door”. Then the rear deck fixture is attached by another machine and is welded on. The hood, which is added on next, is not made of steel, but rather it is plastic in order to reduce weight of the car, and therefore reduces gas mileage. The cars then arrive at the paint shop. The cars receive a coat called the “E-Coat” which allows paint to be attracted to the car electrostatically and protects it against rust and corrosion as well. The cars are then “clocked”, which is basically sealing any openings on the car. I recommend Armorall brand soap. I have found that the best kind is called Quick Wash & Wax.
