Prophet Muhammad (Saw) the Ideal Character of Human Being !

Muhammad was a person who had desires of being a great person not a simple person. The World History Project states that, “Muhammad Ali wins light-heavyweight gold medal at Summer Olympics”. The World History Project exemplified that, Muhammad had won a trophy at a special sporting event. The World History Project insinuates that, “Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) defeats Sonny Liston for Heavyweight Title”. The World History Project informs that, Muhammad has won a great accomplishment as a Heavyweight Champion. Muhammad Ali has made a great lifetime for his career.

Based on the record of his sayings and actions, a picture of Muhammad is painted as a man of good-will and faith that gives back to to others. He also does not want war and wants to have dealings peacefully. He is very modest, charitable, and thankful man, who actually cares about others and tries to give back when he can.

Muhammad a prophet for our time is written by Karen Armstrong. This book is like a diary that tells the life of Muhammad and how he played a big role in the Islamic religion. Muhammad was born in the year 570 ce and died in 623 ce. Muhammad was a man who did not have much going for him, he couldn’t read and lived in a cave with his wife at the time. When Muhammad was reached down upon by Allah he did not know what was happening and why it was happening. “ he knew that some people expected the imminent arrival of an Arab prophet, but it never occurred to him that he would be the one entrusted with the mission.” (p.10). Muhammad was 40 years old when this happened and he lived in Mecca. Mecca at the time had many different civilizations and was a big trading center. Arabs at the time did not like this and kept moving from places to place to get something stable. Some of the Arabs even had settled in urban areas around Mecca. In addition, these literary works enriches the audiences’ understanding of these texts as supremely important cultural and historical documents, for audiences who embrace their universal truths. Both generational audiences’ spiritual interpretations seemed to have, collectively, developed a text of extraordinary literary works that are overflowing with philosophical and truth-seeking richness.

Importance: He was and is known as the prophet of Islam who brought the last book, the Qu’ran, that depict the methods to worship and purpose of mankind. After his death, his followers split into two groups known as the Sunni and Shia where one group believed the leader of Islam should be the descendants of Muhammad and the other believed the leader should be qualified.

Muhammad was believed be the last of a series of Prophets from God including Jesus and Moses.

The life of one can be dramatically altered in so many ways, but so often is it impacted by the teachings of others. The thoughts and ideas of another individual can have a lasting affect merely by being spoken (7).The human mind is as moldable and impressionable as clay. Take for example the subject of philosophy, a field that is devoted to delving into the ideas and beliefs of great thinkers. The simple act of hearing these ideas causes change within the individual, whether or not they agree or disagree with what is being taught. The moment the idea reaches that person they form an opinion on it, these thoughts then form into beliefs, and finally into new and unique ideas (12). Thinkers like Plato and Nietzche both relished in the idea of getting into the minds of others to open their horizons. Plain parables like The Cave were much more than playful stories. Instead Plato served to point out the flaws within our concept of reality through the simplicity of story telling (2). The

He is a man that has influenced my thinking and principles throughout my education and pursuits of my goal. Muhammad Ali was a man who never gave up in the face of any adversity, a man who stood up for his principles no matter the consequence, and a man I looked up to.

Many famous thinkers have made an impact on society; however, none as much as Dr. King; a people’s man or Warren Buffet; a businessman. After an in-depth analysis of the thinkers and their contributions one will identify the problems each sought to solve, the solutions each found, and implementation of those solutions. Moreover, exploration of each thinker’s social, political, and personal environments will show how those factors contributed to their respective creativity. Additionally, a comparison of their unique creative processes, a critique of their ideas, and thoughts of different approaches will come forth through further exploration.

Inspirations, such as Mozart and William Shakespeare, have been dead for centuries and yet everyone still knows about them and what they accomplished. If someone were to die tomorrow, you would not be able to physically touch or hold them, however, it does not mean you are going to stop mentioning them or what they have done for you and for others. People die all the time, but the gravity of their death is different because of how they lived and what they strived for while living. However, this is often dependent upon the quality of life that was lived by the individual. Fame is not the driving force behind a legacy; however, consistency and passion are the driving forces that can help prolong the duration of a person’s legacy. The very accomplishments that people have achieved in their lives is what make them a household name and is what people embody to continue on their legacies long after they are dead and gone. Eric Wilson gave examples such as, “if one were to ask a person off of the street to name the smartest person he or she could name, more than likely, that person would be Albert Einstein. Likewise, throughout the history of music, there have been several outstanding people, such as Beethoven or Mozart, whose names have become household names” (Wilson, 2011). In the world today, knowledge is a very valuable thing. The world can be a scary place, and without knowing how to be happy and live in harmony with others, it can be hard to survive. Luckily, there are those who have given us advice and instruction on how to live, and who have told us the secrets to earthly happiness. One would probably suspect they are politicians or millionaires or movie stars, but they aren’t. In fact, they lived around fifteen hundred years ago, in China. The third article of faith in Islam, is the belief in all the prophets and messengers sent by God, ending with Muhammad. All messengers were chosen by God to teach mankind. They were all human, and have no share in divinity, but they are the perfect paradigms for humanity. The messages were all the same, as it came from one God. Their fundamental message was identical, reminding mankind of Allah’s oneness, the reward of a good life, and the Day of Judgment and the terrible punishment for disbelievers (“Islamic Path”). In the Quran, the holy book of Islam, it states the names of the twenty-five prophets, and every Muslim accepts them all. Except for Muhammad, all prophets are considered to be national or local messengers. Muhammad, on the other hand, is considered a prophet for all the nations. He is also described as the “Seal of all Prophets,” as stated in the Quran. He stands as the last messenger. In the Quran, the phenomena of earlier prophets are recognized. Those prophets included, Abraham, Noah, Jesus, Moses, and many others.

On the surface Muhammad is usually considered to be a prophet and messenger of God, but when looking closer we can see that He played many more roles in His life time including one of a Statesman.

Although he was said to be a shy person with a mild personality in his early years, the fact that he came of age during a time of great political unrest fueled by religious conflict left an impression upon him.
