Establishing a well-structured driver network is a key step in Lyft’s strategy to expanding in London market. As drivers facilitate the cash flow of the ridesharing business model: having more qualified drivers in the network will help ensure revenues are maximized and ensure further growth. To attract and retain drivers, Lyft should implement good incentive plans for its prospective drivers and ensure the company driver policies are transparent. Regarding driver policies, Lyft will continuously reinforce that their drivers should be held up to higher standards and need to be respectful and reliable, especially since they bear the responsibility of driving cash flow into the business. Penalty and enforcement policies should also be made clear.

The Chinese influence in Pakistan has touched an unprecedented high level and it has surpassed the US which has remained the most preferred ally since 1954.
For such persons, the organization takes some more steps to reduce the traffic congestion in the city by introducing carpooling method. This process is done by sharing the car with more than one user during their travel. Uber introduce such kind of service in order to handle the number of users who use this technique. By using this service we can reduce the transportation cost, fuel cost and pressure of driving.
Now that the most common claims and rumors about the sharing economy were discussed in a bit more detail, and some advantages and disadvantages were already identified, the following chapter takes again a closer look at them. The purpose of this chapter is primarily directed towards the possibility to predict the future, since depending on which side outweighs the other, the future prognosis will correspondingly modify. In the following, by and large, a distinction between the different types of the sharing economy will not be made, it is intended to serve as an overall overview. Above all, Uber and Airbnb, as the probably most well-known platform providers, are often used for illustrative purposes.

Uber is an App-Powered on-demand car service provider for smart phones. Notwithstanding its very unique name, investors have begun to take note of Uber during the past year as it has stolen market share from traditional transportation companies. We will analyze the value proposition of its technology and examine the differentiation Uber creates to stay ahead of both potential competition and the various cab laws and regulations across the United States and Europe.
Uber launched from San Francisco, their mission simply stated, “Uber is evolving the way the world moves” (Uber The Company, 2014). Founded in 2009, Uber encourages people to download an application on their mobile device and arrange for a ride in over two hundred and fifty cities and fifty countries worldwide (Griswold, 2014). Travis Kalanick, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, is leading Uber in their vision of “seamlessly connecting riders to drivers” by taking advantage of P2P (Peer-to-Peer) technology. Garrett Camp helped Kalanick fund Uber with $200k of seed money (Uber, 2014) and today, only five years later, the company is worth an astonishing forty billion (Griswold, 2014).
Pakistan is a country with 182.1 million population at the moment. In the whole world, there are only few countries with huge population. There was a big opportunity to get into the food market, as to cater a growing population, more resources are needed. Not ignoring the fact that we are an agro based economy. Besides that, in our country people love to spend money on food. Engro gets raw material locally.
Pakistan will have the chance to get access into the markets of Central Asia and Iran.
Competing in emerging industries: UBER has entered lots of emerging markets recently to compete against existing ride sharing companies. There is enormous trend of shared transport not only in developed countries like the US, but also in emerging economies where the GDP per capita is below $12000. Ride sharing is emerging in many countries like Chile, South Africa, India, Thailand and so on. Ordering rides through application rather than call. And rides offered by drivers using their private cars is emerging concept in many nations. UBER is using price cuts to attract the next layer of price-sensitive customers, also it is bundling the prices with UBEREATS to lower the price. As a result of being in emerging industry, UBER is pursuing new customer groups by entering into new geographical areas.
Because of some untrained drivers, how to protect the customer safety become one of the greatest challenges to Uber. There are customers be attacked accidents
Main reason of the success of this lies in the fact that it tackled the issues of local taxi industry which were becoming unbearable by the common people. For example ordinary taxis charge on the basis of time spend while using the taxi (by customer) while Uber charges on the basis of distance. In populated cities it was hectic to find taxi on urgent basis, Uber tackled this issue and gave service which is handled by a smart phone app and claims to provide taxi with in exact 10 minutes of ordering the service. In the start prices of Uber taxi services were high due to their high quality services which left the customer range un-attended who prefer to pay less money to the taxi, but in 2012 Uber offered a service with a name Uber-X with comparatively less prices and a bit less quality service (in terms of not providing first class taxis and a bit of delay in time), this service gained the attention of those customers who were not in hurry while going somewhere (Brown 17). This much coverage of taxi industry created a lot of issues in the local taxi industry where almost 80% of customers started using Uber, because of many facilities like one can travel without cash on the spot, as all transactions are through credit cards, safety reasons, quality service reasons, urgent service and etc.
Pakistan matters because this country is the corridor between the Eastern Asia and the Middle East. It is one of the six declared nuclear weapon states with one of the largest armies in the world. Pakistan is important because it has been part of five declared wars in the past sixty years with its neighboring country, India. The country is also at war with few of the most dangerous terrorist groups in the world like Al-Qaeda, Taliban, etc. It is one of the main allies of the United States and United Kingdom of Asia. Pakistan is one of the most complex democracies of the world. It’s different ethnicities, languages and regions make it one of the most diverse nations in the world. The country was founded on the Westminster model, but the government has been overthrown by military leaders three times since Pakistan’s creation. That makes it function differently from Britain. Many dismissed the Pakistani economy for years because of its poor frugality and government functionality. It has constantly faced a rapid economic fall in the past few years, forcing the world to pay attention.
In Pakistan, since 1991, the privatization has been promoted (Khan et al., 2011). The two main factors behind privatization were the increasing popularity of the market economy and the globalization.
