Hi, I received my PTO payout ($968.40) on Saturday, April 22. My concern is that I do not have any form of documentation that shows how this amount was calculated. I had 64.00 hours of leave. I also had 24.00 floating holiday hours. Of note, this amount does not include the 16.00 hours of missing floating holidays for Labor Day and Columbus Day in 2016. Previously, I was told that corrections would have to be made in Deltek to receive credit for these hours. Given that the appropriate corrections were made, I should have received a payout for a total of 104 hours. Even after the necessary deductions, I am unable to see how this amounts to $968.40. If possible, can you reach out to the appropriate department(s) to obtain this type of documentation?

Bespoke business documents are documents individually or customised to meet a specific requirement or purpose within a specific business. They are personalised to suit each business and can include forms, publicity materials, invoices, business cards, spread sheets, databases, letterheads, presentations, catalogues, reports, proposals etc. These are important because it places a professional image on your company, which will attract new potential customers or will keep your current customers interested. It is important to take into consideration when creating bespoke documents that the purpose is to give a good impression to other businesses or customers, therefore, documents need to be professional and well thought out. An untidy, poorly-designed document can severely affect an organisation’s reputation with its stakeholders. Documents need to be consistent throughout, this means the organisation’s logo needs to be the same on all documents produced, as well as the general theme, for example, you must use the same font and style like: bold/italic/underlined etc. Also, it is preferably that in business documents should use no more than two different fonts, as it may seem unprofessionally with more than two fonts. Fonts need to be readable, as well as in the correct size; headings need to be larger than the main body of the text in order to differentiate, and there should also be plenty of white space in
I know this is pushing the two week rule for PTO but I was wondering if I would be able to take 10/6 off? My 20 year Anniversary is 10/5 and the hubby sprung it on me this weekend that he wants to do a kid free weekend getaway. Pinellas county decided to use 10/16 as a make up day from missing so many days due to Irma so I can switch the PTO days if I am allowed. If not would you consider allowing me to leave early on 10/6 and I would just keep the PTO on 10/6. I usually get about 3-4 hours of OT each week so I could work till 1 or 2. Let me know what you
Steve brought to our attention on Nov. 14, 2015 a discrepancy between the time he took off (155) hours and the total amount of time off that was paid for using his accrued vacation time (120hrs). After a detailed review of the records the discrepancy appears to be valid. Per Steve’s tenure he qualifies for 120hrs of paid vacation time and as of Nov. 17, 2015 was paid for (40) hours of vacation time with the remaining (105) hours of time off going unpaid. Steve has been approved for 6 additional days off (Nov 23-25, Dec 21-23) which will be paid and deducted from his remaining vacation time balance of (80) hours. Steve will also receive the (32) remain hours of paid vacation time in the form of a check, leaving him with a balance of zero paid

I have a couple of questions regarding PTO and EIB. For PTO accrual, we want to set up different PTO profiles. Is it possible to set each one up where the PTO hours are earned in a pay period, but granted at the start of the next pay period? Do we need to set up policies for each of PTO profiles? If you need examples, I can print something out of ADP. We would like to set up each profile so they flow the same.
The three methods that will be used for disseminating evidence are podium/oral presentation, grand rounds, and committee meetings. Knowledge is a key concept in today's healthcare society; it is important that there be multiple different kinds of communication strategies used to disseminate evidence (Yuan, Zhao, Liao, & Chi, 2013). The type of method that is chosen for disseminating evidence is also dependent on the audience and the type of evidence that is being disseminated. These three methods seem to fit the organization I currently work at best.
I believe that overtime pay situation for this period was an attempt via restructured compensation format with 'Tru-Up' concept and needed hourly rate i.e., $22.41/Hr. (regular); $33.615/Hr. (Overtime), (both derived from the reduced base i.e., drastically reduced prevailing compensation/salary ($64100.00) to $39,118.20 (Base), $7500.00 (COLA) and $17482.00 ('Tru-Up')) .This approach/attempt has resulted in me in NOT receiving 'Overtime pay' in an extra/true manner for ALL the overtime hours that I have worked (beyond 40 Hrs. /week.).It was a situation that compensated me with SAME TOTAL GROSS PAY in one form or the other (Regular and 'Overtime' Or 'Tru-Up' (in subsequent/fluctuating paycheck(s))), regardless of working 40 Hrs.

Hansen Mechanical Contractors (HMC) is a large construction company who has changed the way sick time and personal time off (PTO) is paid and taken. In past years (up until 2013) sick time was only able to be taken in the calendar year and if not taken would be lost. Each employee was given seven sick days per year. Sick time could not be rolled over or cashed out at the end of the year. HMC decided starting January 1, 2014 that they would change this policy in hopes of giving their employees an incentive to not use sick time and take less days off per year. Sick time was changed to PTO time and they were given seven PTO days per year. The change to PTO time gave the employees the incentive to not use their PTO time and to instead be paid 50 cents on the dollar for time not used at the end of the year. This business situation should be addressed to see the impact that this change has had on the company and to see if the company’s goals with the new policy are being achieved.

Therefore, PTO is a bank of days from which employees can draw for vacation, sick leave, doctor's appointments and personal days off from work. In contrast, customary leave programs allot a specified number of days for vacation and sick time. Hence, moving from a traditional leave program to a PTO system has many advantages, including reducing unscheduled absences, and the costs and productivity losses associated with them. Also, making an employer more attractive to current and potential employees, especially those who value discretionary time off; reducing administrative/compliance costs, as PTO use no longer requires validation in most instances; and empowering employees to make their own decisions regarding the amount of vacation and personal time spent away from work, which contrast with employer-controlled sick time and vacation programs (Warford, 2014).
