If health stores had the money to advertise then I am sure that they too would be popular. Just as it is now health shops are rather expensive and have a major "hippy" label. If the prices would go down and the public realized what was better for them, the popularity of the stores would increase.

<br>After taking a survey in the class it turned out that eleven people out of fifteen went to McDonalds in the last seven days at least once. I think that the reason that McDonalds is so popular is because McDonalds is an American way of life, and by eating it you are buying into the American life style. America has always dominated trends, not only in eating habits but also in fashion and Americans mostly dominate the music charts.

<br>Personally I like eating at McDonalds, but it is not like I have to eat there because my whole class eats there. I eat there when I am in a rush or am low on cash. I do prefer the fast food restaurant "Shakies", which is a restaurant that sells biological milkshakes and healthy sandwiched. In a frantic rush you have to pick McDonalds or Chick-Fil-A which do you choose? How would you even begin to choose? What are the pros and cons of either restaurant? Both McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A are excellent restaurant choices for a fast food connoisseur, but the best restaurant choice greatly depends on the consumer’s budget, lifestyle, and taste preference.

Grocery stores have even gotten into the act with their own versions of fast food restaurants. Families with sick children can stay in Ronald McDonald houses located close to the hospital where the children are receiving treatment, and businesses routinely come to the aid of disaster victims.

As of now in the United States there are 22 fast food franchises. McDonalds was the first franchise to open in 1940 and since then they have been the leading and most successful franchise in America (“The Raw Prawn” n.p.). Other franchises include: Burger King, KFC, Wendy’s, Arby’s, and Taco Bell. Each of which target young students and children. Most of them have a value menu where items to purchase are cheap and tasty but very unhealthy. Some fast food restaurants provide a toy for children with their meal which attract them to come again and again ( “Eating Yourself to Death” n.p.). In addition, some restaurants contain an indoor play ground which attracts small children even more. The fast food industry mainly brings customers for their tasty food and simple convenience, they attach a drive thru to their building making it faster for customers to purchase and collect their food which is also less time consuming. Recently in the past few years, fast food franchises have begun to change their restaurant and attempt to become healthier as a whole, in some fast food restaurants they have a nutritional menu to choose from which generally contain healthier food compared to the regular menu (“The Raw Prawn” n.p.).
Unlimited, endless, fast food choices, and yet there are two that stand out above the rest. McDonald’s and Burger King are the two biggest burger fast food chains in the world. So let me ask you this, who has a better menu? Who’s Cheaper? And which one is healthier? This debate will once and for all come to an end, once all of these points have been met throughout my paper. McDonald’s vs. Burger King has been a long running argument. You will finally come to realize that McDonald’s is the better choice for you.
Their food seems to be the same, but it isn’t. On one hand, McDonald’s hamburger weighs less and has only 9g of total fat, while Burger King’s hamburger has 12g and they have a saltier taste. On the other hand, Burger King’s beef are 100% pure and they flame-boils their burgers, while McDonald’s fries their beef. That’s why they taste different. Concern at cost, McDonald’s simple burger is lower at $0.89 while Burger King’s has their simple burger at $0.99.
