El Yunque National Forest is a national park located in Northeastern Puerto Rico, and it's the only rainforest in the U.S. It's also the largest piece of public land in Puerto Rico, with 28,000 acres.

Puerto Rico is roughly the size of Connecticut, and they both share a similar population. Despite all of that, Puerto Rico is still the third biggest island in the U.S. after Hawaii's Big Island and Alaska’s Kodiak Island.
Number Two: Graffiti Covered Tanks Are Rotting on a Beach
Flamenco beach, in Puerto Rico’s Culebra Island, used to be a U.S. Navy training site during World War II. Once the war was over, bunch of tanks were left behind and are now rusting in the sun. The peculiar beach tank graveyard has been vandalized by locals and visitors, but still remains one Puerto Rico's best kept secret.

According to his work, “English is the fastest-spreading language in human history and is used by an estimated 1.27 billion people globally” (Neeley, 2012). The English language is already the most popular language in the world, accompanied by each person’s native language. Also, compared to other languages English is relatively easy to learn (McWhorter, 2015). This does not mean that the meshing of new versions of English are always pristine. Ana Lucia Gonzalez, reporter for BBC, wrote the article, “Life in Spanglish for California’s Young Latinos” to address this issue of blending language.
Puerto Rico, a commonwealth of the United States, consists of the mainland and various smaller islands. Puerto Rico gained possession of a few minor islands including the islands of Culebra, Mona, Desecheo, Caja de Muertos, and Vieques. Out of these five islands, Culebra and Vieques are the most well known. These two islands are also sometimes called the Spanish Virgin islands, or Passage Islands because they are apart of the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Two years ago, I went to Puerto Rico and I absolutely loved it! Puerto Rico is a Caribbean island and a U.S territory. It is east from the Dominical republic. The capital is called San Juan with 77 other cities! Puerto Rico has about 3.548 million people living there. Since Puerto Rico is an island the weather there is one of the most unvarying climates in the world. All year around, the temperature is usually from 75 to 83 degrees Fahrenheit. In fact, the island is the hottest and wettest around August, averaging about 81 degrees Fahrenheit. Puerto Rico offers many cultural entertainment, historical locations and tourist attractions.
Waking up to the sound of Spanish music blasting through the streets, and the smell of Spanish food all over the air, and going to the window and seeing hundreds of Puerto Ricans celebrate in the streets, covering themselves with the flags. This is a description of New York during the second week of June. This week with it being cold here in Omaha, I thought of a warm place in the Caribbean. It has crystal blue waters, white sand beaches, great attractions, impressive scenery, nightlife, gambling, fishing, cultural experiences, friendly locals, golf and hiking. I discovered you could find affordable top ranked vacations in the Caribbean. Some of the hot spots there are Jamaica, U.S Virgin Islands, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Dominica, and Punta Cana.
