The first time I went on a cruise I got on a airplane and went to Puerto Rico. When my family got off we went to find our luggage, and get a taxi to the hotel. When we got to the hotel, we checked into our room and unpacked our luggage. We stayed at the hotel for three days and went to the pool, beach, and explored the island.
The morning of the cruise, we packed our luggage and checked out of the hotel. We found a taxi and then the taxi took us to the cruise ship. After checking in we explored the cruise ship. We found two gigantic pools, as well as, two steamy hot tubs. The cruise ship was enormous.
The first island of the cruise was St.Thomas. We hopped in a taxi and explored the island. Then, we visited one of the best beaches in the world called Magen's Bay. It was one of the prettiest beaches I have been too. The sand was so soft and the ocean was clear blue. When we

John. We went horseback riding in the rainforest. The horse that I rode was named Prince. He was beautiful and fast. I have never rode a horse, but got the hang of it and it was fun. This island was the most beautiful that I had visited throughout this vacation.
On the ship we played ping pong. I played a lot throughout the cruise. My dad beat me at the beginning of the cruise, but I started to get better and beat my dad. The pool on the cruise ship was amazing because it was big and consisted of cold water. Another thing was the food. It was interesting and good. One of the foods I tried was scargo. It is snail. They had a basketball court as well. I had a lot of fun with all of these exciting experiences and activities.
The whole cruise was a great experience. I saw stuff that not that many people get to experience. I had a great time, and really did it all. From meeting new people from different countries to seeing amazing places this trip was definitely a great one. Spending time with my family, and visiting these beautiful islands made this trip one of the
The rest of the trip was very entertaining and I enjoyed the beach even more. The difference between the Pacific Coast and the Gulf Shore was completely different, but in a curious way. It expanded my horizons of the world we live in and what natural beauty it contains. It also taught me that having patience can give better results. Even though we had a long drive to get to our rental house, it was
I`ve been on planes, cars, and many things in my life but I have never been on a cruise, and on this Alaskan Cruise I was able to try new things. In our ship they had swimming pools, ping pong tables, casinos, and a extraordinary ice cream bar. One of my favorite parts of this trip was holding two baby sled dogs that were two weeks old. I also liked kayaking, plus I shared a kayak with my sister, Mia, and I controlled the kayak from the back. After that my family and I went on a bus ride to see caribou, bears, and glaciers. I also went on a hike and float with the Kendal`s (who are my cousins), because there daughter Annie was sleepy. I saw cool trees and fascinating wildlife. I even was allowed to eat berries that tasted like watermelon, but
Preparation of our food was quick, the waitress was really nice she told us that “fettuccine pasta with steak was a great choice”. While we was eating their was a jazz band playing”. Our mom ask us “Are y’all having a good time”. As Friday night came, the tour guide made an announcement on the intercom saying, “Saturday morning we would be in Bahamas and we would depart back to the ship on Sunday afternoon”. The next day, we left the ship and we was in the Bahamas.
At some point during the vacation we rode on a train that was called “journey through the gorge” if I recall correctly. On the train, they had a train-car where you could stand outside and look at the gorge surrounding us on all sides. The ride was amazing (at least to my seven-year-old self it was). We saw mountain goats, bungee jumpers, ate popcorn, talked, and I played around with the conductor hat my mother bought me. At the end of the day we all had a great time and made many
The food there was really good considering it is on an island because they get all their food shipped in by boat. They had dessert after every meal besides breakfast. You had a choice between lemonade, fruit punch, and water to drink. They also called seconds if you were still hungry.
My family has gone on many vacations, but the vacation to Cancun over Thanksgiving is the one I will always remember. My grandma took our whole family on a vacation to Cancun. There were many interesting events that took place on this trip that I will always remember. Every morning waking up to the amazing view of the ocean with the waves roaring to shore. We would spend our days hanging out by the pool and riding the massive waves at the beach. Playing basketball in the pool with the family is a circus trying to score.
The Bahamas is a very beautiful, and scary, place. The tourist sites aren't run down, the people there clean it. Something that is like the island is the cruise ship, in the sense that they are both very elegant. The people that lived there had a very laid back lifestyle that anyone would love. If I had a choice, I would live there.
It was Spring Break and our last year of living overseas so we wanted to make the best of it and go to some places we probably not have the opportunity to go to again. We chose an Eastern Mediterranean cruise. The primary thing that made this trip so unforgettable was my grandparents who I hadn’t seen in 6 years came from Iowa to join us on our vacation. Some of the places it went to were Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
From there, we started our trip to key west. I don’t remember all of the details (I’ve got a poor attention span), but I know we stopped and stayed in a hotel once. We also stopped at a roadside beach and swam in the water there, which was very warm, and the
One of the things we did on that cruise was swim for almost the entire day since it open really early and closes really late. But the only that was bad about those swimming pool was that the put salt water in the pools instead of chlorine. So slightest drop of water that hit your eye burned really really bad. And the they also get super full because there is about 6000 people on that ship. so we didn't go swimming all the time because there was a max capacity. And on one of the days we saw two dolphins swimming and everybody was going crazy every time they would jump out of the water
The best part was when we went to Gulf World. There were a bunch of different animals. The highlight of Gulf World was the dolphin and sea lion show. I’ve never seen anything so amazing! The dolphin skimmed across the water just on his tail. Apparently, sea lions have a lot of upper body strength. The sea lion lifted himself up on his chest and gave the trainer a high five with his tail. It was amazing!
On day three, we started out by snorkeling. I saw so many different things such as fish, eels, crabs, dog sharks, turtles and manta rays. Soon after, I got out and swam in the pool. To finish up the day, we went on the beach and played for a few hours.
The first thing we did was go canoeing. We went canoeing almost everywhere. Sometimes I would get up early in the morning just to canoe around the island. I would mostly go canoeing by myself. I would sometimes jump off the canoe and start snorkeling.
Like it was yesterday I remember my first vacation on a cruise. My Dad and I went on a three- day long cruise to The Bahamas. I had never been on a cruise, so it was a new experience for me. We needed to be in Tampa for our departure, so we drove the two hours from Orlando, Florida to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My Dad and I used this time to talk, make plans for the trip and think about our upcoming adventures on the cruise.
As a child, my parents took me and my siblings on all types of trips. I have been all over the United States including Hawaii as well as Cancun, Mexico and Greece.
