Law Enforcement would allow me to be able to help people. I am an Eagle Scout so I have been helping the
During the duration of my college education I plan on taking classes that would help me attain a career in law enforcement. I have chosen to pursue in this career path because I've always relish what police officers and lawyers have accomplished in the world. While still following the appointed laws they also help people in a verity of ways like getting people of perilous situations, while they also in ways shape the minds of the future. It's a considerable amount of satisfaction to be able to partake in a widespread impact towards the community. While the police are protecting the society there are selected group of people who have an astronomical passion for helping people understand and obtain their constitutional rights. As a person who appreciates both professions, I hope that someday I will

These skills can be learned on a job through training and experience, but they are also thought in college through homework, exercises, communication with other students, and required reading material by professors. When hiring college graduates with a four-year degree, they already possess many of the qualities and attributes that are highly
Knowing myself and my views as a law enforcement officer this unit would have been disbanded with the first incident. Having been exposed in my military career and law enforcement career I have been instilled with moral and ethical beliefs. The public depends on me whether it be in the streets or overseas they expect me to do the right this at all time and I don’t want to fail them. I take my career very seriously and I would not risk the reward of just a few dollars to hinder my retirement and reputation. There have been many instances while on patrol responding to calls that I arrest nervous drug and gun offenders. The men and women that I arrested would plea to give me money a large amount in which they had in their pockets to just let them go or charge them with a lesser offense. Never would it cross my mind to do this, of course a few thousand dollars in front of
Thus, I have academically sought out academic accomplishments that reflects upon such a career. Additionally, the privileges of interacting and gaining in-depth viewpoints of officers in the line of duty was the greatest honor bestowed upon me. Furthermore, after graduating with my high school diploma, I

Finding the right fit for my skills and knowledge is a challenge that I look forward to. The research into the different fields of Law Enforcement provided me with a better sense of what I have to look forward to and what I believe to be the

What draws me to law enforcement was the interaction I had with police officers on daily basis as a small child. I can remember them taking me outside of a business that was ran by my family and letting me set in their patrol car and being great role models for me as I got older those role models played a more important role through my teenage years steering me toward good decisions and staying out of trouble it is that life experience that draws me to law enforcement for the potential to help some who needs help or be a positive influence on some who is starting on the wrong path . I want to be in some form of law enforcement to be able to at least try to make a difference in my community and know that at the end of my shift I gave my 100

“What do you plan on doing with your life?” This is the dreaded question I always hate having to try to answer. This question, I have wrestled with for the past few years, but one that answer that always crosses my mind is law enforcement. There are quite a few branches of law enforcement, some of which I will explore more throughout the paper. Though it seems like an exciting job full of danger, it’s not all chase scenes and gun fights. Those kinds of things come very rarely for a police officer, and those in “higher up” organizations like the FBI or CIA. Many law enforcement officers don’t experience these high tension moments, but they are always ready for them. In fact, they try to avoid these situations at all costs as to avoid most if
One day I was talking to a police officer, and he told me that if you like to protect the people this maybe the job for you. I instantly thought about and decided what I wanted to be. Being a police officer because it interest me to protect others. Some other reasons why I feel that this job is for me because I can handle the school work. Also being a police officer there’s a lot of benefits that not every job gets to have. Another reason why I want to be police officer is the work environment, I don’t really want to be stuck at a desk.
Many people have asked me what I want to do with my life and where I see myself in the future. I have known what I’ve wanted to do since I was a toddler. I have always envisioned that I would be someone who made a difference, someone of importance, and someone successful. That is why education has always been one of the most important factors in my life. When I decided to pursue a career in law; I knew that it wouldn’t be an easy task to fulfill. Nonetheless, I am motivated to continue to reach my goal by attaining my Master’s in Criminal Justice. The next challenge in my life will be to purse my law degree, and become a criminal attorney.
After finishing my degree, I plan to use my education to earn job that pays well so that I will be able to sustain a family comfortably. Growing up, my parents managed our household by living paycheck to paycheck. Although we always make it by, I have seen the stress it has caused my parents because sometimes they cannot provide everything for my sister or me. From this experience, I have learned that I want to be able to provide a comfortable lifestyle for my wife and children. With my criminal justice degree, my goal is to become either a homicide detective or a United States Air Marshal. I have always found detective work fascinating: whether on the television or in real-life. Detectives skillfully analyze a crime scene from sometimes so little evidence and I want to possess the knowledge to do the same. I am also interested in becoming an air marshal because I have always wanted to travel around the world. Not only would I experience the world, but I would be able to protect thousands of lives in the process.
