1. Quote: “F.E.A.R. has two meanings- Forget Everything And Run, or Face Everything And Rise. The choice is yours.” -Zig Ziglar
Define it: This quote means that when you are scared, you can either get out of the way of the thing that you are scared of, or you can look at it in the eye and say, “I’m not afraid of you!”
Connect it: This quote is applicable to my life because it is very inspiring. It is showing you that the two options you have are opposites, and that one is backing away for your problems, and that the other is facing them in full force. The quote shows that with one solution, you can take the easy way out and not change our character. But in the other solution, you can make the hard choice and become stronger. For me, this

There is always something that was cheerful if you look heard enough.
So what- If those who were feeling down on themselves didn’t rise back up to the standards, then our world would not be much fun at all. People would think that the objectives that were set would not matter just because “every day may not be good.” You should always find the bright side of the equation.
3. Quote- “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”-Romans 8:31
Define it- The meaning of this quote is simple- if God is in your favor (rooting for you, hoping that you will make the right choice) then no one can be against you (being rude, saying mean things).
Connect it- The quote can be applicable to my life because it can show me that no matter what, God is with me. When I felt upset because someone was mean to me, I just remembered that the Lord will always stand by me no matter what, because the Lord protects all of his children from harm’s way.
Remember it- This is similar to how people all around the world are being bullied. If, at the time that they were in pain, they knew about this quote, then maybe they wouldn't feel so alone. Maybe they would realize that they could stand up to the offender. Maybe they would know that it will all be OK.
So what- If this were something
The way the world is surrounded by technology, not being able to understand technology is difficult but not “death in life”. Today, almost anything on paper is easily accessed on a laptop or smartphone. However, if you're technologically illiterate, you still have access to everything on paper, you just may have to look harder for it. In the text, Carole says “Now I can read, I can read books, anything. I can write. In English and French.” When I read that quote, I think of Carole's troubles when learning to read on paper, now she has to learn all over again on a laptop. Personally, I find it very hard to read off of a smartboard or laptop and I can only think of the struggles coming Carole's way in the 21st century. Some challenges could be,
The quote “Life is Tough, My Darling, But So Are You” really relates to me for many different reasons. Sometimes I’m scared to try new things because I’m very scared of failure. I typically on try new things once because if I don’t succeed I don’t want to continue with the challenge. give up on myself when I encounter something difficult only because I never want to fail at anything. I sometimes only try things once and if I don’t succeed I won’t try it again.
Allan Rufus wrote “Life is like a game of chess. To win you have to make a move. Knowing which move to make comes with insight and knowledge, and by learning the lessons that are accumulated along the way. We become each and every piece within the game called life!” To me this quote means when you know yourself you can foresee the decisions that you need to make to be beneficial. As you grow older you learn and grow and down the road you get to know yourself on a deeper level. Everything I do, what I see, what I believe in, how I act is and the values that I hold is what makes me who I am. The more I am in synch with my behavior and characteristics the better in tune I am to understanding
This quote comes into play while Janie and Tea Cake are in the Glades getting ready to leave because of a hurricane. At this point Janie and Tea Cake have waited to late to leave and are trying to decide if they want to try and beat the water or just stay there. I found this quote important because it ties the title of the book in with the situations that occur in the book. They are sitting there and despite the situation around them they can still find security within each other and God.
“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” I try to live by this quote by Charles R. Swindoll every day. I feel that this is a strong quote with a lot of meaning behind it and, it can be interpreted in many ways. In my opinion, we should see things in a positive way all the time. We also should do what we love every day because you never know how close you are to the end.
For me this quote means that you always have to be the best version of yourself, and that in life there will always be sacrificces in order to be succesful.
This quote has been in inspiration in my life since the beginning of this year. The quote is anonymous but still has a story, a story with my life.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and love and of self discipline
This quote emphasizes the idea that solving the problem is not the main focus anymore. For some, unfortunately, the priority is to not lose face and to stick stubbornly to what one wants without allowing for
Clearly this quotation shows how Good must always face Evil at some point even though the odds do not seem to be in your favor. Evil can be defeated through the strength and courage of Good.
To further put man at ease, in a step by step explanation, Paul brings into light many circumstances that may occur in a believers’ life as well it was with him in some instances stated in Romans 8:35-39. Even though all or some of these things may happen in a believer’s life there is nothing to be fear in losing God’s love “For the Lord is my shepherd […]” (Psalm 23:1-6).
In conclusion, I believe that this quote is very important in life. It is about getting in touch with your own soul. In The Alchemist, they reference the Soul of the World. The Soul of the World is within everyone, you just have to look hard and you will find it. Within your soul there is a desire or a want. One must listen to that desire and pursue it for how ever long it takes. This desire is your destiny and your own Personal Legend. You just have to know where to
“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” A quote by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, during his inaugural address in 1933. At that time, America was in the Great Depression, and people needed a message to remind them that they will not get anywhere by being scared. What FDR meant in his quote was that trying new things, conquering obstacles is the right thing to do, and being to scared to try something is just unacceptable. The word ‘fearless’.
As a child, far too young to truly understand the brutal context, I came across this proverb while reading over my grandmother’s shoulder. However, throughout my life, it would intrude into my mind at opportune moments.
“The greatest mistake a man can make is being afraid to make one.” -Elbert Hubbard
