Refugees are people who are forced to leave their home due to war, or natural disasters and try to start over by fleeing to a new country.Refugees are going through a lot, fleeing their homes, and having their lives turned inside out. For lots of families who are fleeing their country due to war or a natural disaster, it’s hard for them to adapt to their new lifestyle, learning a new language, new education, and bullies. Fleeing to America gives the refugees a fresh start in life, helps them to start over and more opportunities than they had in the country they fled from. “Children of War” “My graduation is next year, so I have to think about college...America is giving us a better future than we could have in Bosnia”(Brice-26).

My opinion is obviously not to be mistaken for not allowing anyone into the United States. If perhaps an individual is willing to go through the complete legal process of becoming an American citizen, by all means, let them live happily in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. I believe it is time for America and it 's leaders to percieve this crisis for what it really is. The affects of this immigration will target many more people than just the refugee 's themselves. Can you imagine that your little town is being attacked or even a natural disaster may be occurring and you have nowhere to go? What would you do? How would you survive? You would have to flee your home away from the tragic disaster. You would have no place to call home and all you would have is the clothes on your back.
