It takes away all the bad things that they are going through and giving them the best experience of their life. Many believe that make a wish only help children with terminal illness. That is not true, any child that is older than two and younger than eighteen can apply to Make A Wish but they must have some sort of life threatening disease. There has been occasions where the child actually defeats the disease they have and get to live a happy life. The Make a Wish Foundation would gladly help your child, but the child's physician makes the final decision of whether the child qualifies for a wish. Once the child is accepted into the organization, they are free to choose their wish. It may take a while to get the wish depending on what the wish was and the health of the child. A child might want to go to Disney World but may not be able to travel unless told it was okay by his physician. There are a lot of things to look into when planning a wish. The best part is that the family doesn’t have to pay anything and the child can take anyone he wants with his wish, the family member that the child decides to includes is covered by the organization. . Most organizations, just help you complete most of your bills or help you out in some way. The Make A Wish covers it all for you, “Family income is not a consideration in determining whether a child is eligible to receive a wish(Frequently Asked Questions).” This is another reason of why I would love for everyone to donate to the Make A Wish
To start with, the beginning of Make-A-Wish all started because of one little boy’s wish to be a

First of all, sponsoring a wish means to grant a gift to the foundation and you give a wish to a specific child. After the wish is granted you receive a picture of the child and their story that demonstrates how you helped make their dream come true. You also receive acknowledgment in the national Foundation annual report. But, just knowing I helped give a child hope is what means the most to me. They go through so much and deserve so much.
Because this would be a charity event, there had to be a foundation or cause that all the profits would go to. It should be something that the people of Conant and surrounding areas could connect with and would be willing to donate to. If it is for a cause that the people believe in, more people would come to support the event, regardless if they are interested in the run itself or not. They would be willing to pay more for tickets if they knew that the money would be going to a cause that is near to their hearts. At first, the JDRF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, seemed like a good place to donate to. This was because there are quite of few people at Conant who have juvenile diabetes and the annual JDRF walk would be the next day, so it could be a good way to join this event to the cause and promote the walk. But soon after learning about an eighth grade boy who goes to Mead Junior High has brain cancer, I wanted to help and thought that this was a good cause to support. The eighth grader, Alex, is from this area and would have been a student at Conant. There are many people in this area that would support this event because it is a part of the community and they would want to help out. There are two main charities that helped this cause. The Be Positive Foundation, helps kids with pediatric cancer and raises money to provide financial and emotional support to families of children with cancer. And at
“Charity benefits the giver more than the receiver”. I think a good charitable organization to support would be the boys and girls club of america. More than half of the kids who join the club says that it saves their lives. If we donate even a little to them we could change their lives even more. It is an important cause because a lot of the kids are the same age as us but has life hard.
Make-A-Wish is one of the most well-known charities in the world for giving dying children one last wish and making it come true for them. I remember in middle school one of my friend’s brothers had cancer and so his parents reached out to Make-A-Wish to try and give their son a happy memory that he could cherish for the rest of his life. He wished he could ride in a monster truck so the people at Make-A-Wish had it arranged and they reached out and asked them to come to the Delta Center which was home to the Utah Jazz but could also house monster trucking. He went and got to ride in the most famous monster

The band Foster the People first started in Los Angeles, CA in 2009. Where singer Mark Foster formed the band after being a struggling musician and a commercial jingle writer. Foster knew Mark Pontius, the drummer, since film school where they were both talented musicians. Mark eventually left his old band Malbec to form a new band with Foster. After Foster had written a few songs, he realized that they had a singer and a drummer, but they needed a bassist. So Foster’s long time friend Cubbie Fink joined the band after losing his job as a television producer during the great recession. Together they formed the band Foster and the people, but people misunderstood and thought that it was Foster the People. Foster the people wrote their hit song

Meet Jim and Charlie, our favorite father-son duo. The whole family has been volunteering with the MCC for many years, and Charlie is now a high school freshman. Today, he and his father served hot meals to Seattle's homeless and un-sheltered. It's spring break for Charlie, but he was still donated his time to those in need. Now that's a vacation well spent.
The Clinton Foundation has been engaged in many health initiative programs both national and internationally. What has drawn me to the Foundation was the contribution it has made in rebuilding Haiti since the shattering earthquake in 2010 that destroyed the lives of many.
