Hospitaliano at the Bistro Roanoke has rapidly become the dining capitol of Texas. I love food I should know. This little town has a wide variety of restaurants that have been growing for quite some time now. It has brought quite a bit of attention to food lovers like myself, and you know what they say everything is bigger in Texas. If you are searching for a deliciously remarkable experience. Look no further than the Italian Bistro. The Italian Bistro owned by Chef Skender Lajqi and brother Visar Lajqi, both Sicilian natives. I do not particularly like fried squid, but their calamari was hand battered and fried to perfection! They portion size was descent, but I could have eaten the whole plate myself. Cheib 2 For the entrée’s the waiter suggested the filet mignon Madeira. The presentation was flawless. I ordered my steak medium rare. The taste was juicy yet rich they marinate the steak in balsamic vinaigrette the beef filet was sautéed with fresh mushrooms, and the Madeira wine sauce. Served with a bed of angel hair pasta loaded with asparagus, artichoke, and broccoli. The steak was a bit overcooked for my liking, but overall I enjoyed it. For dessert they had a few selections. I had my eyes on the strawberry cheesecake, but our waiter suggest the tiramisu. I could not decide so I ordered both. The strawberry cheesecake was a little disappointing. It tasted frozen there was no flavor throughout the cheesecake. As for the tiramisu, it was amazing just as I had hoped. Tiramisu is a popular coffee cake made of sugar mascarpone cheese and cocoa.
