It lashes out with harsh actions and words, hurting many innocent victims. Jealousy causes people to act in abnormal ways, devious ways of hatred and deception, ways that most people would not normally act. Jealousy is one that is often used to bring out the negative aspects in the characters or in life in general. Jealousy is a powerful emotion to use and implement because it is something the reader can connect to. Relationships can drastically be affected by someone that holds a personality trait such as jealousy. With jealousy comes trust issues, that can further form problems during the span of a relationship. At times, it is natural to feel that instinct of jealousy but to a certain extent. Someone who is not confident, usually compares themselves to others and constantly questions their partners commitment to them. Jealousy can also lead you to have hidden motives of making your partner feel insecure. For example, a woman who feels insecure, will constantly flirt with other men to get a reaction from her boyfriend. This behavior is caused by a constant feeling of low self-confidence.
