STEM and society whether you think or not have very much in common. The real world has more than millions of opportunities. STEM projects reflect on some of the real world things you will do as a professional in whatever occupation you wish to assist in. The meaning of STEM is Science-Technology- Engineering- Math, which if you think about it at first is basically what the world revolves around.
For example, Google is opening a data center in the city of Clarksville, Tennessee. Science will help Google on how to build the campus labs. Science is what helps Google configure better servers and network switches.

Bluetooth was initiated in 1989 but brought amazing accomplishments to the technology world. You can control the wanted device from a wireless distance and still get a good and efficient use for your device. For example, you are sitting on the couch and want to watch the video you are watching on your phone on the tv. Bluetooth which is controlled by networking, brings that capability which lets the phone digitally talk to the tv by the software created for it to do that. Now, for a software to work you need to have some hardware involved for the Bluetooth to work. The Bluetooth chips is what allows the process to happen. As I mentioned in my first essay, I wish to pursue a career in either the medical field or technologies that contribute to the medical field. Both interests deal directly with STEM. STEM is a gateway for me to live my dreams and succeed in a field that is difficult to enter without the correct steps taken and references known. Majoring in STEM would provide me the education and contacts needs to enter the medical or technological field at an advantage. I believe that STEM is truly a resource that allows students to focus on their studies more intently and unearth his/her passions in an academic world. For myself personally, STEM would help me to narrow down the fields of medicine and technology to the precise profession that suits my interests. Likewise, in a world that is creating new careers daily, STEM is one of the few pathways that adapts to the growing diversity of options, and facilitates ubiquitous knowledge for success no matter the circumstance. Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. Science is a way of learning about the natural world through exploring and answering questions. Science is also the knowledge gained through that process.
The competencies that I acquired in my life are related to school’s subjects and to my own experiences. In the first place, the knowledges that I gained in my academic career really helped out. Since first secondary, I learned and studied about the Second World War on many aspects as the Jew’s persecution, the power of Hitler, the Nazi’s propaganda, the causes and the consequences of the war, etc. I learned about that in different subjects as French, History and English.
There is a lot of attention placed on STEM education from businesses and the federal government. First, this paper will explain what STEM is, how it came to be, and the reasons behind the urgency to implement this program in schools as early as kindergarten across the United States. Then this paper will address any potential issues for this plan, and how STEM can be a benefit the future of education.
I think that science gives us a more of a reason to wonder and to be even more curious. For example, Jonah was super curious about what important Americas were doing when the first atomic bomb was dropped in Japan. Jonah realized later that what he was actually wanting to know was what was the father of the atomic bomb and his family doing that day. Once he knew what the whole family was doing on that day he wanted to know more about them not really much about the bomb anymore. Then he ended up on a huge journey that led to the end of the world and him being the dictator of this island. That’s really what happens in real life with things that we look for. When we go out looking for answers we usually find an answer to something completely different to our original question. If science were the destruction of wonder once we found the answer to our question we wouldn’t really know what to do with this information we would just have useless information. “Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before.” Those people that don’t get anything out of the information they have received tend to become irritated. Many people don’t really know what to do with the information because they don’t want to believe it’s true, and sometimes that’s why people don’t want to learn anything that they aren’t comfortable with.
We all have a future career in our minds. Whether it is being a lawyer or a school teacher, there are many careers for students. The STEM field has many career opportunities for students and college students. A career I dream of doing in the STEM field is being a statistician.
