The acclimatizing of this outlook starts off when we are younger. Little boys are taught to explore and be direct; while girls are encouraged to consent, oblige, and keep it quiet. This leads to differentiations in sexual expression. Symbolic Interactionism is a sociological perspective based mainly on the ideas of George H. Mead, W. I. Thomas, and Charles H. Cooley. The main idea of symbolic interactionism is that life, human life, is lived in a symbolic dominion.
