After a while, a little smile crept up onto my face. “Well, maybe just a little swim in the deep end.” I said quietly to myself. I bravely walked out of the pool, wincing at the hot ground. My footsteps turned into splashes as I walked into the bubbling hot tub. In the refreshing warmth of the hot tub, I turned to the people in the hot tub, and Sydney’s smeared with sunscreen face stared back at me. And Emily, turned in the other direction lounging around, turned to look at me. “Okay guys, I am going to go,” I started, trying to keep my face strong, “for a swim in the deep end.” I finished, my voice quivering. They both gasped and looked at me like I was crazy. “Will one of you come?” I said, my whole body shaking. “I will!” Emily exclaimed.
After months and months of preparing for the big race, the day has finally come. It was a perfect summer day, when Ronald Raptor and his friends Tiffany, Travis, and Barbra strolled up to the Blaze’n Race’n Track. Someone else was walking up too, a ginormous, mean, green, dinosaur named Tyrone the T-rex. Just a glance in his direction makes the hairs on the back of your neck spike up, but he was jealous of Ronald. To sum it up, Ronald wins at life, he has friends , he’s cool, and he beats Tyrone every year. “But, this year would be different” Tyrone thought with a evil smirk on his face, “I have a plan”. Interrupting Tyrone’s mastermind plot was Ronald’s laugh, making him remember how lonely he was, but nevermind that. It was time to start.
*Slam*. The door shuts. The room was silent, you could hear a pin drop. Leah left and I heard the car start up. We’ve never gotten in a fight like this. Tears started streaming down my face. The tears started streaming down my face harder and harder by the second. AGHHHHH I screamed. I slowly got up from the table the chair squeaking making the same sound it made when Leah left. WOOSH. I think that was the fastest I’ve EVER turned around. I saw a small shadow. Nobody else was home. but there was still a shadow? I walked around the corner…nothing. I ran upstairs and WOOSH again. I checked my bedroom and Leah’s bedroom. There was nothing in there.
“Well, believe it or not, it’s true.” Dean’s voice was low as he let go of her arm and leaned back on the couch. “Though I guess my timing isn’t the best for it to sound sincere.”
“Totally. I can’t wait to get that J.O Cut!” I said while pumping my fist up and down.
“Yes!” Luke was fighting to keep from screaming at the older man, his voice coming out in a hiss instead of a yell.
A small chuckle escaped James lips and he scratched his neck. “Seems like we'll have to relive the past for a little while here.”
I nodded my head deftly as he held me in his arms. He only needed one as I sat there in his grip. I almost felt like a child being held like that, sitting on his arm.
“Yeah, I know little man, but you could have at least took a shower. Brother are you flagrant or what!” They both started laughing. “So you want me to keep everyone away right?”
Hands on hips, Carter leaned back looked up at the tower and then down at the body working out angles and positioning.
Michael's back hurt from sleeping on the hard wooden chair but he didn’t mind since he was well rested. He sat up cracking his back. It was still dark out. He noticed there was a note left on his chest. ‘We all went out on the boat to see the sunrise. Be back by noon - Ashton’. Michael didn’t care that they left him he never cared for boats. He stumbled half awake up the stairs making his way to the bedroom him and the boys were supposed to share. He turned the corner and opened the door. Michael froze when he was met with the site of Harry Styles half naked sprawled out on the bed. The only thing covering him was a pair of navy blue pants that cut off just above the ankle.
He was tired. So very tired. His hands shook as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. Eyes, once vibrant in their innocence, had dulled to a flat brown.
Johnny mumbled, “Why is it people who were supposed to be so smart are so damn stupid?”
Will laughed as if he’d just heard he’d beat cancer. When he was done he got out and switched seats. “Take me to the money, and stay under the speed limit.”
After kissing Jeff and the kids goodbye, Heather pulls the keys from her pocket and gets in a blue Prius. Checking the review mirror, she starts the engine, and her white knuckle drive to work. Byron St. is rammed, I'm going to be late, she thinks. The phone rings, she clicks on the blue button on the blue tooth ear piece. “Hello?”
“He sure did.” He replied as he took a closer look. The bone chilling Oregon morning had us shivering until the heat blasted on in my family’s 2006 silver Seqouia. We loaded up the car and suitcases filled the whole third row as I dozed off in the dark leather back seat. 30 minutes later I received an onslaught of pokes and prods from my older sister, Chloe, informing me of our arrival at the airport.
