“The next moment they were in the shed, walking past the long line of stalls, when suddenly Nelly heard her father cry out: We've got him, sheriff! Block the door!” Noyes was stunned. He had not a clue what to do now that his cover was exposed. He tried to make a quick escape out of the shed window to dodge the sheriff storming into the shed. Noyes did not realize at the time of his frantic and hopeless efforts of escaping the grasp of the law, that the entire shed was surrounded by the entire fleet of sheriff deputies. Mr.Camden along with Nelly were promptly escorted out of the chaos. Noyes saw a glimpse of Mr.Camden; His face depressed and cold as if he had no care in the world as to what was taking place inside of his shed. The …show more content…
All three of the men were dressed in jet black uniforms with black polished shoes. He had not a clue where these people had taken him. Noyes was confused. He did not know where the sheriff went. He didn't know who these people where. They let Noyes out of the van at his own will. He was not force. The men were saying nothing but they were keeping a fixed eye on Noyes. One of the men spoke up as Noyes exited the vehicle. “Please turn around so that I can remove your restraints, if I can trust you to not run.” the man said in a very subtle and sincere voice. Noyes was very reluctant and skeptical because he did not know why they were being so kind to him. After all, Noyes is a convicted serial killer that targeted small families. That is why he was drawn to the farm.
Noyes examined his surroundings. As far as he could see there were trees. No road, just a path in a grassy field. There was a giant brick wall in front of him with sandbags surrounding a chair. Noyes knew what was happening. This was the day that they executed him for his gruesome acts. Noyes then was placed into the silver chair. Cold to the touch he felt grooves where previous execution victims had clenched onto the arms so hard that it dented the soft aluminum. The three men were completely silent. Not a word was spoken from their now flat and emotionless lips. They assisted leather straps around his wrists, walked behind a brick wall with a clear cut line in the center, and fired.

* They were caught by Atticus who told them to stop their nonsense and leave the man alone. Also told them to stop the play which jem accidently revealed to Atticus.
He sighed loudly, “Newbies, always trying to play the hero,” he snapped his fingers and I heard a loud crack from behind me, then a heavy thud. I was too scared to turn around, I knew she was dead, there was no way she couldn’t be. I couldn't hear her breathing, or feel her shaking anymore.
Gladys' smug look, irked Joshua. All he did was compliment Tommy on his attention to detail; maybe he was just too out of round to deal with people these days. He would have to find a way to mellow out, and soon if he was to be of any use to anyone... he needed to reconnect with his baser instincts... His head had not been this full of information since Willie and Gracie Stringer was murdered. However, the last few months had been trying, and his mind was near-about overloaded. He sure hoped that Emma spent more than a couple of nights at her grandmother's place- he needed a break from her; hell, he reckoned he needed a break from his own self, these
Hinton, an amiable tobacco planter in Virginia, inspected the mill infrequently and trusted him to make an honest trade. There was no way to forecast when loggers would arrive, depending on the weather and the wind and water currents so Matthew remained available year-round. He was tall, burley with bushy, red hair, and freckles that almost connected into a solidly tan face. People never forgot him because his freckles were such an assortment of colors, red, brown, tan, beige, pink, auburn, rust, black, and orange. He entertained visitors with stories of animals and men fighting themselves and each other along with spine-tingling stories about ghosts and Indians that intimidated the settlers. If they were true, it did not matter.
Lifty huffed, snuffing his cough back into his throat as he chucked Petunia into his bedroom.
“Come here.” She motioned for him to move closer. Once he stood before her, she dipped her finger under the elastic of his boxer’s waistband and gave a tug. “Let’s see how sexy you are when you come.”
I sit at the kitchen table going over the eviction papers. But we have done nothing wrong I think in my head. My husband John paces beside me furrowing his brow. “I just don't understand. Why us? Why would they come after us?!” exclaims John.
“This is it,” Theron said, leaning against the holotable. Everything had been powered down and packed up. All that was left was to pile onto their ships and go their separate ways. Theron had a shuttle standing by, a simple, one-manned vessel to deliver him to his mother’s command ship.
Three days passed before Jingyan took a trip to Su Zhe's residence, following a familiar path to a destination with a wholly different sort of anticipation. He made his visit at night, when there were less watchful eyes and more shadows to hide his trail. When he finally stepped into the courtyard of plum blossoms, he detoured to the pond before entering the still-lit room of the house.
There was a noticeable shift in temperature as the sun began its slow descent toward the horizon, the impending dusk transforming the western sky from faded blue to an artist’s palette of muted pink and orange tones. Across from the aquatic center, Tom and Dennis loitered at a bus stop, their teenage attire helping them to blend into the urban environment. However, despite his outwardly composed appearance, Tom was anything but calm. His eyes scanned the street, searching for any sign of their suspect. Tyrell Carson was an unknown quantity, and therefore, he needed to stay alert and not become too complacent. While Booker had voiced a certain amount of skepticism, Tom knew all too well the dangers of dealing with teenage felons, and he
As he'd killed these men of the North, Darius had come to understand a bit about them. They were larger than his countrymen on average, their skin paler, and he had a grim respect for their metalwork. The quality of their steel was much higher than what he was used to, this resulted in superior armor and weapons. They wore heavy plate mail, and ingenious mail formed from rings that'd been formed together. The swords that they wielded were longer, and heavier, as were their shields. Even their fighting techniques were different from what he was used to. Still, as large as the majority of them were, he was bigger still, and certainly stronger. He'd taken a number of the weapons off the corpses he'd made, and had studied the intricacies of
“...call this meeting to order?” A deep, masculine voice spoke. Triven wasn’t quite sure who it belonged to. He hadn’t heard it before.
From the moment George rolled up in the car next to him, John knew that this night wasn’t going to end well for him.
They next morning we went to a court. It was requested that we go . We arrived in another swat car, but this time we cuffed him so much he couldn’t move his fingers. The judge said that he was to be freed. “What? He murdered innocent people! He should be in solitary confinement in a high security prison!’ “He should, but those could of been his deceased double. So he will be placed on ‘Witness Protection’. You and your force watch him 24/7.” She replied “Meeting adjourned!”
They turned the castle corner to a giant lawn two kilometers long. Flowers of every color lined where the yard and forest met, a decorated border everyone seemed to fear. A wooden fence marked the beginning of the lawn’s plateau, and flattened stones created a biotic footpath into a green valley of nothingness.
