Great story, Cody Today, radical misconception believe that they finally are in reach to dominate the world by intimidation, heresy, apostasy, and half-truths. They see Christians as not tolerant, arrogant, close minded, and out of modernism. These people are rejecting any type of moral values, saying that they have found understanding or have understood what religion truly is based on their reasoning, thoughts, feelings, and inclinations. However, your story fits perfectly in this scenario of hope to this dying world. The same way your parents and grandparents valued morality, peace, freedom, knowledge, human rights by not compromising the true Gospel and planting that seed on you. For this reason, your family is the perfect model by which
Although we did not regularly attend church, I was introduced to the Christian faith as a child and hold those values. I was raised by my grandparents as my father left my mother before I was born and life’s
After months and months of preparing for the big race, the day has finally come. It was a perfect summer day, when Ronald Raptor and his friends Tiffany, Travis, and Barbra strolled up to the Blaze’n Race’n Track. Someone else was walking up too, a ginormous, mean, green, dinosaur named Tyrone the T-rex. Just a glance in his direction makes the hairs on the back of your neck spike up, but he was jealous of Ronald. To sum it up, Ronald wins at life, he has friends , he’s cool, and he beats Tyrone every year. “But, this year would be different” Tyrone thought with a evil smirk on his face, “I have a plan”. Interrupting Tyrone’s mastermind plot was Ronald’s laugh, making him remember how lonely he was, but nevermind that. It was time to start.
Jasmine was glad to have the company. It seemed like everybody here was nice. But she was missing home even though she had no idea if she could go back. Only time would tell but for right now she was just going to enjoy her time in Storybrooke. Diving in and trying new flavors was an adventure to Jasmine. She knew that she had to watch how many she had. As she didn't want a tummy ache. She had heard a young mother tell her child about cavities. And something about seeing a dentist. Since she was in this world that meant that Jasmine would have to see one.
So, I began visiting the household, washing the sick man and offering my car to take him to and from the clinic. I also enjoyed teaching English to the two children and playing with them. I also took the time to do some shopping using my car and teaching them how to prepare popular American dishes in the house. All through, I introduced them to Christianity, especially after they inquired how I was so helpful to them. I explained that in my congregation, we are a family and a brother’s keeper . I also told them our Christian teachings requires us to mind the sick, the isolated, the bereaved and other people in our community. Soon, the boy developed an interest in reading my bible and translating it to the other members of the family. I used biblical stories of the crippled man that Jesus healed and other similar stories, giving them hope that the sick man would soon be well in the name of Jesus. On the seventh day, I realized that the family had invited another group of Pakistani and Afghani immigrants just to come and see me and how well I was treating them. I also realized that the teenage boy was introducing them to the Bible stories, informing them about sins and repentance. They soon wanted to meet my family and other members of our church. On the 8th day, I took my mother and brother to the family and within no time, the old man, the boy, the mother and
“Hey mom how are you doing today?” I said as I climbed into the four door G.M.C. Fine my mom replied. Wow another bland answer I thought to myself I wonder what high school I got into should I ask her or should I wait I thought to myself. “Hey mom any news?” No, she replied. Wow still I got another plain answer. Man, I still want to ask her about the school because I really wanted to know what’s the deal about me getting into high school or not. I’ve been waiting for a good moment for me to ask here the question as we pulled out the schools traffic
James drags his wounded leg. Trenton stands, James fires, misses. The humanoid returns fire. Blasts James' chest.
Our story starts off in a small, war ravaged greek village. It is not technologically advanced, nor do they know a lot about science and how the world functions. Here, we find Ventra, a young teenage boy, using his wind powers to destroy a small market to steal the delicious fruits. As Ventra is on the run, he bumps into a middle aged woman named Brite. She thought he did it on purpose, so she blinded him with her light powers, knocked him out, and took him to her hideout. When Ventra woke up all he could hear is a woman walking towards him. The room was pitch black, until many torches were lit to light up the room.
On an early Monday morning the sun rises over a small house located in a quiet town by the name of Old City of Rhoads in Greece. When the sun hits the small house, the house looks even smaller and the shadow of the house outlines the old looking torn apart boards holding the roof together. Even though this house looks old and small everyone in the town knows the story behind the man who used to live there, and the family who lives there now. The man who build and used to live in the house went by the name of Floyd Blackwood. Floyd was a master fisher man and would bring food to the town for family’s to buy and eat, because the town of Old City of Rhoads has always had a shortage of livestock. Floyd was basically a hero. He would spend his nights fishing, and his days building a house for him, his wife, and son. One day Floyd finished the house. And while his wife and son were settling in he decided to go fishing on his boat. Floyd went out to sea and started fishing but, before he could even realize how late it was and turn around he was trapped in a sea storm and did not make it out alive. The small house is now owned by Floyd’s wife, violet who lives with her now 17- year old son John.
“Let’s just start with the day you lost your sister,” the policeman encouraged the boy on. “The day I lost her, or the day I doomed her?” The boy couldn’t bare to lift his head more than an inch out of his hands. The tears have stung his cheeks since the day he lost her. “Time she was captured, boy, just describe the time she was taken,” he insisted, pushing a glass of water to me. Taking time to gather all the thoughts spilling and doing backflips in my mind, I start my story.
Throughout my elementary school years, story time, which would take place right after recess, was almost as exciting for me as recess itself. Our teacher would select a book, or sometimes a series, that they felt we would all enjoy. The most prominent memory of these times comes from the end of fifth grade.
It was mid october and I was sitting in the car thinking what it would be like to have a house or a room, or at least another outfit. My mom couldn’t afford to buy a house or new clothes so, day after day I wore the same clothes to school hoping the kids at my school wouldn’t notice, eventually they all noticed. It all started when my mom, Beth, had me at 16 years old. My whole family shut her out, and my dad left my mom, when I was just us two years old. Me and my mom had a great life even though we lived in a car. One day something horrible happened to my mom… One day I came to the car from school, everyday I have to find a way to sneak away from the crowd to go the the abandoned park that is now surrounded by pine trees where we keep our car, and that day it was my birthday, usually we don’t get presents on our birthdays. But when I got to our secret parking spot there was a box on the picnic table right outside our car that read “to Maya”. So I waited for mom to get home so I could open the strange box, I was filled with excitement, when mom got home I went straight for the box and asked ‘’can I open it?’’

“Where are you? For the love of God, I’ve been waiting for almost an hour already!” Eunah yelled through the phone as the man he was talking to only laughed apologetically.
Kate opened the car door and she ignored whatever her mom was saying, she didn’t care. She was too excited for the rest of the night. When she got to Amelia's door, she paused and thought about what they were about to do. She knew that if they were caught, that they would get into serious trouble. Kate knocked anyways. Amelia’s dad answered the door. “Did you bring all of your stuff?”, he asked.
“Sally, Sally, the tree fell! The tree fell!” My cousins Eyad and Adham rushed to me, yelling ecstatically like they had just witnessed the coolest thing ever. I’d just walked through the front door carrying all of the bags filled with everything my other cousins and I had survived on for the past five days at my uncle’s house. At hearing this headline of news of what happened while I was gone, I dropped everything, and it all landed with a loud thud. I stared blankly at the children, confused and wondering what on Earth they were screaming about, knowing that they probably committed an action that was completely ridiculous, adorable, and dangerous as most things they did happened to be.
