“Lord Kanohal has no time to meddle with insignificant affairs.” Vittorio responded. “Well then, are you going to keep talking about Kanohal or are you going to give me your location?” Sabra asked. “Up north, past the mansion. You’re going to find a lab, Research Center for Variants. I’ll be standing outside waiting for you, a few of my allies made a nasty mess, and let's just say those white walls won’t ever be so white again.” “Fine by me. You wait there, we’ll be over shortly to deal with you.” Vittorio chuckled. “I’ll be waiting for you.” Slamming the phone down, Sabra walked to the door. Claire and Sawyer followed behind her, not understanding what was happening. Stopping in the middle of the hallway, Sabra looked back at them. …show more content…
Epsilon stood next to Isaac, bumping his fist with them. Sabra was relieved to see they didn’t need her assistance. Paisley approached the large man, slapping handcuffs on him while he laid there unconscious. Isaac smiled, looking back at Paisley. “Your neutralizer came in handy.” “Don’t mention it.” Paisley replied. “The Neutralizer is the strongest manifestation in the world. No one can beat it, but it can only last up to ten seconds in projectile form. Had I used it in pulse form, you and Epsilon would have been neutralized also.” Epsilon turned to Sabra, seeing her by the door. “Sabra, what are you doing here? Did you defeat Vittorio already?” “No, not yet.” Sabra responded. “He wasn’t in the mansion to begin with, he used these people here to buy him some time. He apparently perfected his manifestation or so he gloated on the phone. He’s at the Research Center for Variants, so we need to hurry up and get there. Claire and Sawyer are helping Dorian’s group at the moment.” “Let’s not waste anytime then.” Paisley said. “Let’s get going.” “Right.” Everyone replied. 9:59 PM Claire and Sawyer looked for Dorian’s group, not surprised to see them standing tall over their fallen man. Seeing Claire and Sawyer, Malessica waved at them both. Dorian stuck his thumbs up at them, while Gerard tried to catch his breath. Sawyer didn’t waste time telling them about the new plan and location of the Sangrine Syndicate. With the information, Dorian managed to keep the
“No, I’m pretty sure I know where to go, but something about this map has me perplexed,” I said sounding confused.
“But, where did they come from?" she asked. He glanced at her, smiled, but did not answer her question
“Massena. I’ve been there before, it’s super simple to find. But Brad won’t be there when we get there, so we’ll have to make small talk with James.”
“Why didn’t you say that in the first place?” I bark. “Serenity, we’ve got to go investigate right away. Where are the humans located?”
“Did you figure out anyway to beat them?” Epsilon asked. “I’m sure those manifestations have some kind of weakness.”
"It's over Dahlia," Daxton got up from the cold ground. They felt their way back out of the maze watching the door that led to the hallway. The door had a window and it was the goal as of now.
“Paisley, We have a little over a minute. When I give you the signal, neutralize the area quickly. I don’t care if I’m not able to use my manifestation. Whatever’s coming at us, it’s coming fast and it’s powerful.”
“In about five more minutes we’ll be at Heliconia.” Sabra said. “When it’s completely dark, we’ll try to find some useful information, got it?”
Sabra grabbed onto the woman’s shirt. “You’ll never beat someone like me. Now talk, where’s Vittorio? Where’s Kanohal?”
“Makes sense. But where are we going now?” I ask, already knowing but dreading to hear the answer.
Isaac and Epsilon laughed at them, while Dorian continued to ramble on about his physique. Sabra and Claire finally came inside the station getting ready to set their plans in motion. Clearing her throat, Paisley started to speak.
The entire security detail paused for a moment as they slowly took in the contents of the message. They laughed nervously and glanced at each other before turning their attention back to what awaited them on the other side of the glass. No words could describe the feelings that passed through them as they gazed in awe at how far the humans had come. According to their standards, it wasn’t possible—what the humans had accomplished defied logic. They shouldn’t have been able to colonize other planets and construct space ships in such a small amount of time!
The sorcerer glanced up from his work, but only for a moment. It wasn't often that he received visits to his quarters beneath the castle and that was supposed to be the point. It was out of the way, beyond the marble floors, fountains, and scantily-clad ladies the nobles so enjoyed, down near the dungeons, with only flickering torchlight and the damp chill of the underground passages. Their were little comforts down here and the sorcerer approved of that. His predecessor was apparently much more inclined to hang around the palace above, show off tricks for the ladies in hopes of impressing one or two enough to get them to his bed chamber. It was likely that sort of simple, soft life that had led to the
Arthur showed up at Gwen’s apartment at 9:00 sharp. When he saw her, he grew concerned. Truly, she looked awful, with her complexion wan, her eyes feverish and glassy, and she was bundled up in sweats and a winter scarf.
"How are we going to find it if we have no idea where it is?" Chrom demanded. "It 's not even on the map, so we need directions."
