Politics is a dirty, challenging game. There are two different political parties in the United States: Democrats and Republicans. This election year, 2016, both parties’ candidates are starting to campaign and debate to see who will be president. The Republican presidential candidates are a joke this election, the top three people in the Republican polls now have never held a government office, and the one in the lead is one of the worst human beings in the United States. Donald Trump would be the worst president ever because he doesn’t interact well with other skin colors, he doesn’t interact with people with his own skin color with any form politeness, and he would drive america into more debt. Trump has had a long history of criticizing other people that are not Caucasian and that wouldn’t stop if he got in the white house, it would in fact make it worse. He stated in his presidential announcement that Mexican immigrants were bringing drugs, crime, and were rapists the fact that Trump only thinks of Mexicans in gross generalizations, or stereotypes, means …show more content…
He says John McCain doesn’t deserve to be a war hero because he spent five and a half years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and, as he says, “real heroes don’t get captured.” Furthermore, after Lindsey Graham told Donald Trump to stop being a jerk, Trump decided to call Graham an “idiot” then gave out his personal phone number at a campaign rally in South Carolina. Lastly, at the first Republican debate, Megyn Kelly asked Donald Trump, “You've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals…”, before she could finish he responded by saying, “only Rosie O’Donnell”, and that is nothing new for him as in the past he has said she was a real loser and one of the dumbest people in television. For all the people Donald Trump has insulted, it would be reasonable to think he was a good businessman but that assumption is
This is the first out of the many reasons regarding why Trump isn’t appropriate as president. Trump has a long record of being a provocateur on matters of race and ethnicity. Therefore, it is no surprise that even on his social media, Twitter, he mentions that blacks and latinos commit the most crime in America. Also, during his campaign trail he made many racist comments. During the launch, he called mexican immigrants “rapists” who are bringing drugs and crime to the US. His campaign focuses on building a wall to keep these immigrants out of the US. Trump also called a ban on all muslims from entering the US. Then in 2011, Trump started the birther conspiracy questioning whether or not president Obama was born in America, which many citizens viewed as a racially charged insult against the first African American president. Not only is Trump racist, but he lacks morality. He has repeatedly bulldozed a certain area for his own use. For example, he has recently destroyed areas of minority communities in order to build casinos and hotels. Furthermore, Trump has often spoken out against affordable healthcare for American citizens who are poor.
On November 8, 2016 the US election took place. The two front runners, the Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton and the Republican nominee, Donald Trump went neck to neck in the presidential race. On this frightening night, millions of people watched America’s worst nightmare unfold right in front of their own eyes. Donald J. Trump the islamophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, sexist, racist bigot defeated Hilary Clinton and became the 45th President of the United States of America. Donald Trump shouldn’t have even been nominated to run for president.
April 2015 was the year Donald Trump, the Republican, announced to the public his serious interest in joining the 2016 presidency election. Trump 's highest interest is immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, and states they are "criminals.” He blames the race of Mexicans of robbing Americans jobs, and treating Americans like babies (Miller, n.pag.). What he does not know, is that not all Mexicans are "criminals," and we are not robbing Americans ' jobs. Most of us come to United States to work our hardest, and get a better job. Trump not only is he a racist, but he also has made many unprofessional actions and decisions. We should not be voting for Donald Trump because his ruthless actions against immigrants are strongly affecting our society and segregating most races within each other. He can be a dangerous future president who is carelessly choosing between the white American and Mexican.Trump shows a high interest in segregation among all races and blames most of the unemployed by allowing Mexicans to “take over”.
Presidential elections are an important aspect of U.S. history. This year is probably one of the more interesting ones since Donald Trump, an entertainer, is running for president even though he has no experience with politics. His campaign is widely criticized but he still holds a major lead from 30-40% depending on the state. Donald Trump should not be the President of United States at all, his views are bigoted, sexist and racist. Our president should not feel that he is superior to others and constantly degrade others for their race, religion, gender, etc. Not only are his views disgraceful but he has no past experience with politics,
With the impending election looming closer and closer, the approach of the presidential throne seems to elicit a plethora of opinions on who is the most viable candidate. However, the candidate that has caused controversy at every angle possible is none other than Donald Trump. Famous for his extreme affluence and most notably his TV drama, The Apprentice, President-elect Donald Trump has integrated his unctuous persona into his campaign. The San Diego Union Tribune’s article on Donald Trump, “…Great Power and Greater Irresponsibility”, introduces us with the possibility that Donald Trump is not the “Make America Great American” man he claims to be, and in fact he is the exact opposite. While for some Americans, his aversion to political correctness is admirable and induces a strong support; many are adverse to his social conduct and view his idiosyncrasies polar to the fabric of the Constitution. The article brings forth a target audience of both non-supporters and supporters alike in grave attempt to eradicate this supposed allure of Trump.
The election of the president is something that each of us should take part in, because that is how we decide the future of our county. Everybody knows that this election period is very close in The United of States America and people all around the world are talking about the candidates, discussing their past and promises about the improvements in the economics and other aspects of everyday life of the American citizens. So in today’s article we are going to discuss one candidate for President, a person from the Republican Party, whose name is Donald Trump.
He treats race groups as monoliths, which implies that they are all the same. In May 2016, Trump implied that Judge Gonzalo Curiel was unfit to judge because of his Mexican heritage. Fellow republican Paul Ryan said this, “Claiming a person can’t do their job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment.” Donald Trump addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition in December. During this meeting, Donald Trump voiced racist stereotypes about Jews to the Jews. These stereotypes were, “I’m a negotiator, like you folks. Is there anyone who doesn’t renegotiate deals in this room?” He also claimed that the Jews wanted to buy his submission. Along with all this he posted this anti-Semitic meme to his Twitter account.
Now that Trump is going to be the president some people say he is going to be a bad president. But, they don't even know if he will be bad because they have not given him a shot. This poll shows that most people think that Trump will be able to create more jobs, bring the country in the right direction, and even keep our country safe from terrorism. With that in mind there is hope for a brighter future.
On Twitter, he wrote “Am I morally obligated to defend the president every time somebody says something bad or controversial about him? I don’t think so!”(Politico). This statement toward the comment of the audience member, made it clear that he did not have to address or defend it right away. Donald Trump is running for a place in the 2016 presidential election, so why would he make someone else look better than him? Stuff like this happens during the elections. It’s all about making people look bad, and your elf as the best person there is. However, Donald Trump used this controversy as a plan to base his speeches and concerns on religion. At the Faith and Freedom Coalition dinner, held in Iowa, Donald Trump assured evangelics he is with them and has found the Lord. This new tactic of his has created mixed feelings about him as a
Trump recently went on a triad, referring to Sen. John McCain military record with malice and disgust. He emphatically stated, “He was not a war hero” (LoBianco, 2015). Later, he corrected himself by saying he was a war hero but he didn’t like McCain because he was captured (LoBianco, 2015).
When you google up racism, the definition of racist is “a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.” According to the article ‘’No, Donald Trump Isn’t a Racist’’[4] they mean that the people who him been attacking are no a specific race. Muslims are not a race, Mexico is not a race. And that his statement might sound racist but it’s just simple facts, that they are not.
Everyone has their own opinions on Trump, and his future presidency. Some may be excited and optimistic, but many are looking at the situation in a negative light. Many of those who are looking at the situation in a pessimistic light, are minorities; the reason they are looking at his presidency negatively, because, he has made so many racist, towards any types of immigrants and minorities present in this country that is supposed to be “Land of the Free”.
Donald has started discriminating those who are not whites since he became a businessman, and his racism has become more over since the election. If you have followed his news for a long time, you might hear this before, ‘’ you’re living in poverty, your schools are not good. 58 percent of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?’’. That’s how he thought of those who are not whites.
Unless you have been living under a rock for the past two years, the United States of America has an election coming up on the eighth of November. This campaign has gotten ugly. There has been fighting, rioting, accusations of improper conduct, and a whole heap of other things between the two political parties. Some people would argue that our country is divided more now than ever in history. On the Democratic side, you have Senator Hillary Clinton. She has the motivation of becoming America’s first female president. Over on the Republican side, you have Donald Trump, a billionaire, real-estate mogul, businessman. These two candidates have two very different backgrounds. Hillary Clinton has been in the political arena since 1976. She was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2001 and was appointed as the U.S. Secretary of State in 2009. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has never held any kind of political office. He got into real-estate in 1971 and has since then made the Trump name synonymous with real-estate development. With their backgrounds being as different as they are, their personalities are just as different.
Donald Trump says things like a tosser. He only has apologized publically once about a video that he commented about he liked sexually assaulting attractive women. The only reason he apologized was because it was a popular video going around and it was affecting his image.
