Although history states that immigration has been a big issue, especially with all the Hispanics coming to America illegally and the Irish working American jobs, immigrants should be legalized because they start up businesses, positively affects the economy and Americans can relate to them.
Immigrants should be legalized because they are twice as likely to start up businesses compared to a U.S. citizen. They get a lower pay rate of twenty-four thousand a year while Americans get roughly around fifty thousand a year. These immigrants are doing jobs that Americans would not want to do. For example the construction work. They also are giving other immigrants and some Americans, jobs because of the businesses they are provided. If there is no trace of being Native American than that too makes you an immigrant. They were taking away Indians land to build up science, culture, health care, business, education and many more. Compared to the immigrants now, they only take, or build up, jobs from the Americans instead of taking everything they own and remaking it. History is repeating itself over and over again. Immigrating should be legal because I believe we all have human rights and freedom is one of our rights so why can’t we all be equal. I honestly feel like immigrants work really hard and seek for a better life, If it wasn’t for immigrants crossing over here how would our countries even hold ups are basically the ones who run it. How are some of us considered legal and some illegal; aren’t we all supposed to be equal? Illegal citizens usually move to other countries in search of improved living standards and higher education. Since the start of our country, America has been known as a land of immigrants, a melting pot of different cultures and ethnicities working towards the American motto of the land of the free, home of the brave. Since colonial times, immigrants have been an integral part of society, majorly contributing to U.S culture and economy, yet many Americans have always had very conflicting ideas on immigration. Many people look past the benefits immigrants bring to our economy and society and instead scapegoat them for many of the United States’ problems surrounding unemployment and budget. The positive effects of immigrants, both legal and undocumented, in our country far outweighs the negative effects because of their important impact on society and the economic help that American relies on.

Should millions of undocumented immigrants be allowed to live in the U.S without the fear of being deported and losing their families? Undocumented immigrants who move to the U.S to help give a better life to their families should not worry about being deported. Undocumented immigrants risk their lives crossing boarders, just to give their families a better life. Not all undocumented are rapists, drug traffickers or any of the other things Donald Trump has said about the undocumented immigrant. Undocumented immigrant laws have become a situation because so many undocumented immigrants live and work in the United States. Trying to figure out whether undocumented immigrants should be deported or legalized is causing an effect on the families and they live in fear of what could happen and how it could change their lives forever. These raids led to the development of an organization called, Redwood City Immigrant Rights Coalition, which coordinates community outreach, facilitates services for families affected by such raids, and prompts officials to oppose the raids by immigration agencies (McRobbie, 2007). This supports the statement that immigration raids and deportations greatly affect families. The fear created by immigration raids has led to organizations such which oppose these actions.
Illegal immigrants should be allowed in the United States because it would stop the separation of illegal families. According to the Applied Research Center report “there are at least 5,100 children in foster care due to a parent being deported or detained. It estimates that another 15,000 children will enter the foster care system within the next five years. The likelihood of these children being reunified with family is slim” (Immigration, Deportation, and Family Separation ). Kids are being left behind or left in foster homes just because their parents got deported. The separation of families has to stop to keep the families together so the kids won't be staying in the U.S alone with no one to take care of them except for total strangers

Illegal Immigration is a major controversy for Americans on whether Immigrants should be allowed to stay or get deported. Many people believe Illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay because it’s beneficial to the country. Others oppose on that thought because they feel illegal aliens are unreliable and bring America down. Illegal Immigrants are taking away the lives of American citizens and should not be given equal opportunities without being legalized first.
It’s true that from Kennedy to Clinton there have been a lot of executive orders that have been taken relatively to immigration. As an example, in 1987 under Reagan there is been an executive orders for minor children for parents legalized by 1986 called the Immigration Reform and Control Act. This Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) granted up to 3 million unauthorized immigrants a path to legalization. This executive orders is in some way similar to the DACA in a way that some immigrant had the possibility to work here legally and more extensively become U.S citizens. Moreover, bush extend this policy “Family fairness” to all spouses and all children of people legalized by 1986. This Act is in many way similar to the DACA and is going even further than what the actual provision act such as not only targeting youngs but also spouses.
Do people today understand just how much illegal immigrants can affect the way they live? That part of the taxes they are paying every year is going towards illegal immigrants? In society today, people are paying more money and losing job opportunities because there are illegal immigrants in the country. These illegal immigrants are not helping America in any way. They are causing legal American citizens to suffer more because they cannot get a proper job and the Americans that have a jobs have to pay extra money in taxes for them to be here. Is it fair? Is it right? Immigrants who enter the country illegally should have to gain their citizenship and pay a fee or have to leave the country.

Depending on what background you’re from your identity will automatically be determined.
An economic boost is something the government longs for and shockingly many illegal immigrants have provided just that. According to an article written by The Nation, “undocumented immigrants contribute about $11.6 billion to the economy annually, including nearly $7 billion in sales and excise taxes and $3.6 billion in property taxes. They are, in economic terms, productive citizens, and pay a higher effective tax rate than the top 1 percent income bracket.” (Chen). This information helps put into perspective how much the undocumented immigrants contribute to america's economy.The thought that illegal immigrants have helped boost our economy is something that does not settle well with many americans. Americans do not like the fact that people who are not even truly apart of the country are the ones helping it rather than the naturally born citizens. The government has spent years trying to find ways to make the economy bigger and better. They never expected immigrants to be the solution.
