“The joy and satisfaction of a meal is equal to the passion and effort given its preparation.” Said by famous chef -Gordon Ramsay. Gordon Ramsay a known chef around the world loves to cook food for everyone, but some people don’t have the ability during the school day to buy a lunch. So, kids that are in school get hungry throughout the day and they only have one period dedicated to their food. I think that all schools should have vending machines all around the school and not just in the cafeteria, and open during the whole school day. Some kids in most schools have a reduced lunch or might not be able to buy a lunch at all. Students may have up to one dollar and that’s only enough for one item from the vending machines so they have to wait until their lunch period.
There are some a couple of reason why I think that vending machines should be around the schools and open all day. First, students get hungry because of their metabolism. For example, students may eat during the lunch periods. Also, it would be a huge benefit for kids who do not have a reduced lunch. Last, better snacks may fill up a students outside their lunch periods.
Another reason that vending machines should be open during the whole school day is, better profits for the school. For example, the more students

Some of my favorite reasons are: students get hungry throughout the day because of their metabolism. Also, it contributes to the school’s profits. My last example, this will benefit kids who don’t have a lunch period or cannot afford a school lunch. I would like to form a committee of people that would like to put an effort. I would like them to ask their friends to join and help this action be put into its place. My last action is to get people to sign my petition and get it verified. Help the schools get all around vending machines it may seem like snacks but it’s more then
Schools do a “good” job in promoting certain healthy foods in their cafeterias. Yes, students do not enjoy eating them but it is for their good. The fact that schools sell the “baked” chips is a good and a bad idea. It is a good idea because they are healthier than the regular chips sold in grocery stores and smaller than regular sizes. The bad part comes to the fact that they are still being sold and most students prefer to purchase them instead of fruits. In my case, I know I would prefer to eat those chips instead of the fruits. Vending machines are rarely seen in schools but the schools that do have them do not have healthy items inside. Sodas and junk snacks are what are mostly seen in those vending machines along with others. Students
For example, our school only has two microwave for the students to use and one more in the classroom if they teacher will let us if the students need to head of food. Their also two mini fridges that are for teachers and students and somethings who just have to get their early if you want a spot in the drug for your food. Some kids are tired of fight for a spot in the fridge and go across the street before school and get a sandwich to avoid being apart of this mess. This causing students to not eat because they are not liking their choices. Our school does have online lunch where we will get food to come to our school but you have to order it days before and what if you chance you're mind and then don't it, moment is going down the drain. Some kids forget their lunch and are left with food that they don't like or just need it because food is getting expansive.t also allows kids to try new food and students can enjoy new food with their friends. This option for kids to go off campus wouldn't be for everyone but would be open
Students also need to be able to stretch and get out of the school for a little bit. The students are sitting all day working hard, so they should be able to leave the school to stretch and walk around. There are some schools that let students go to the hallway
Students shouldn’t have to pay for school lunch. Image a student trying to get lunch, but can’t because they don’t have enough money or they owe dept. The lunch lady will then throw away their lunch and provide something not appetizing. If the lunch lady gives them free lunch, the school fires the lunch lady. In New Mexico, they recently banned schools from “lunch shaming.” Lunch shaming is where students are classified for not having enough money to eat lunch. They banned it because they saw how kids were dealing with the struggles of not eating and still having to learn. No one wants a student to go hungry and no one thinks it's a good idea for students to learn with an empty stomach.
Since 2009 Schools have been improving there healthy choices of food like fresh fruits and salad bars, but those foods take longer to eat (Hellmich). Turning school lunches into an actual sit down meal rather than a feeding frenzy is a good way of improving health (Parker-Pope). Students usually have less than 20 minutes to eat lunch which makes it less likely for them to choose the healthy choice (Elsevier). Kids often like to eat there favorite foods first, not giving them enough time to eat the healthy food (Hellmich). An increase in school lunches could encourage students to eat the healthier choice(5 Elsevier). School nutritionist suggest that students need to have atlas 20 minutes to eat (Hellmich). Research shows that when people consume meals faster they take in more calories because they get hungry sooner (Chen). The shorter lunch periods are starting to lead to more and more obese and overweight kids ( Hellmich). Doctors are saying there are more and more kids getting diabetes and other illnesses due to the lunches and something needs to be done about it
I think vending machines should be allowed at schools in America because of these three reasons. To begin with it makes the school money. Another reason is that some students don’t have enough energy to stay awake in class. Also the machines could carry drinks and students can get drink.
Everyone loves sugar filled snacks, especially children. A kid’s day can be made so much better just by handing them their favorite candy bar. This is something students looked forward to during their school day. Sadly, this was made to change. Schools started banning snacks, and drinks based on their unhealthy effect they have on individuals. According to Beverly Ballaro and Ann Griswold in "Junk Food in Schools: An Overview,” this change occurred when Michelle Obama launched her project for healthy eating in 2010. Let’s Move! Was her way to fix child obesity in America. This directed schools to feed children healthier options, and twice as many vegetables or fruit. This was not a necessity for public schools across the United States. Students should not be limited to what they eat in school. As long as they are being fed their basic lunch, it should not be important what they decide to snack on.
Do you think that there should be vending machines in middle school. I think there should be because kids would be more energized. Also the school would make more money off of it.
HELP! I'm dying!... because school lunches are cringing! Students should be allowed to leave class during lunch hours, and be trusted to leave and return back in time for their next class. If high schools gave students this right it would teach them how to manage their time wisely and it would help them become responsible. Students who leave campus during lunch are most likely end up going to a local business to get their lunch which is both good for the students and the local businesses. Students with special food allergies could leave campus during lunch and go to their homes and get food they could actually eat and not be worried that their food could have been cross contaminated to something they're allergic to. Students who leave campus during lunch would come back energized and ready for their next classes.
During an open campus lunch break student can either go home to get food, go to a restaurant or a fast food place. Open campus lunch is a good idea for students in high school in grades 10 through 12 and the occasionally students in 9th grade because, it would save schools money by not having to make much food, kids could have better food, it gives the students some free time, and it gives them a chance to have more responsibility and independence. It would also give students a little bit of freedom and a break from their classes. It is a privilege to be able to go off campus for lunch. If students are not back in class after the given amount of time or in their next class, punish them. School lunches
First of all, schools should have vending machines. If a child did not bring a snack he or she can buy one. Kids might not get as hungry in class. With the money used to buy the snacks the school could raise funds. For these reasons schools should have vending machines.
Schools should have vending machines. Schools should vending machines because some students have afterschool activities. In addition, some students wait for their parents for a long time which makes them hungry. Plus, students may have end of the day P.E. Students can get hungry from doing after school activities. Students can get hungry
I believe that students should have access to vending and soda machines. This is because, they would have more freedom, would have more options, and the students would be happy and kind to others. This is why students should be able to have soda and vending machines.
We should have vending and soda machines in the hall because some kids are poor and either don't get anything at home to eat or just get hungry fast because they got little to eat. Even if you are not pore you might have not had time to grab something to eat. And if you either don't get anything or you don't have anything and you don't like the cafeteria food you have nothing to eat for most of the day.
Having fast foods at school has two sides a great one and a poor one the nice one is that the kids wouldn’t want to miss school there would probably be one hundred percent of attendance if there was fast foods at school. Another, great reason why school should have fast foods is because the school can make a little more money by having fast foods.
