This means the slippery ice can form on roads or driveways, causing danger for citizens. It can also be thrown around during the storm, putting anyone standing outside at risk.

The electrical system is managed by the public-utilities company of the local area. If a tornado sufficiently damaged this entity to prevent the consistent delivery of electricity to the call center, there may be a disruption to the ability to make and receive calls as well as process data. The call center employs backup power generators in such an instance, but these generators provide eight hours of power. In natural disasters, it is not unlikely that utilities companies will be able to restore service within weeks.

Hi Jeremy Bumgarner, nice to meet you my fellow classmate. There are numero.us organizations which are susceptible to weather challenges. These challenges can cause negative impacts to occur in revenue, cost and financial performance. The adverse financial impact of weather is managed through a weather risk market. A risk manager is contracted who accepts the responsibility of risks caused by effects of adverse weather. Adverse variances in weather are determined as a result of effective weather risk management. The risk response strategy for weather would be acceptance. Bad weather intervals are uncontrollable. In most situations these weather patterns can be predicted which allows for preparation of these risks. This preparation minimizes
